Jay POV
" Yuri !." His mother screamed and came towards him running.
She bent on her knees and cried ," Yuri , Why? Why did you come in the way ?"
"I–I told you, Mom. I couldn't see her dying because of me," Yuri whispered.
She called her men and took Yuri to the hospital.
Aries and Percy took Jason to the car.
But I stood there, frozen, confused, processing everything,wondering if something would happen to Yuri!
If he would die because of me?
I didn't even know when I started crying.
"Jay, no, no, don't cry," Keifer said. He hugged me and ran his hand through my hair.
I stopped crying, and we broke apart.
"We should go to the hospital," Angelo said and moved out of the place.
That's when my head started hurting again.
That same flash from the past.
But this time it was clearer, like it was happening right in front of my eyes.
Keifer's POV
Jay clutched her head and screamed in pain. "Aaah!"
I held her. "Jay, are you okay?"
She opened her eyes, crying again. "Keifer, I–I saw it again."
"That place?" I asked.
"Hmm… but more clearly this time."
"Let's go to the hospital first," I said.
Jay was going to take a step, but she fell. Luckily, my reflexes acted in time and I caught her. "Careful."
I carried her bridal-style, and she buried her face in my shoulder.
That's when I saw the mark on her neck.
My jaw clenched and my heart cracked.
I took her outside. Angelo was already waiting for us.
His fists clenched when he saw her in my arms, but he didn't say anything .
I made her sit in the back side and sat beside her.
Angelo started driving but kept taking glances at us.
We arrived hospital and I carried Jay again because she was already sleeping.
I took her to a room and doctor started checking her .
I said, "That was my fault. I should have been more careful."
Angelo patted on my shoulder. "Don't worry. It's not your fault , stop blaming yourself. "
"But still if I hadn't left them alone , this wouldn't have happened"
" Don't worry . Everything is fine now ." He said sitting beside me . " Most important thing is that Jay is safe now . There is no sword of hitlist hanging on her and as well as you now ."
" Hmm , but still Yuri's mother is threat for Jay . she can do anything ."
"I won't ." A voice came from another side .
We turned .
Yuri's mother was standing there with Yuri on a wheelchair. She dragged the wheelchair towards us ." I won't do anything to Jay ."
She looked at Yuri and smiled . " Because I know now that he loves her . And I can't afford seeing him hurt for her . And yes , now there is no need to complete that hitlist because I am here with Yuri . You and Jay can stay together, Yuri won't come in between. Right Yuri ? "
We looked at Yuri waiting for his reaction.
But to our shock , he smiled, " Yes , I won't come in between you . But yeah Keifer remember one thing."
"And what's that ?" Angelo asked .
He looked at me " Don't make Jay cry again . And if you did , then I myself will kill you ."
I smiled and went to him . I knelt beside him and hugged him "Thank you , Yuri . And I promise you I would never."
" You better not OR I am coming to show you who Yuri Hanamitchi is "
I chuckled and broke apart," Thanks for provind again that you are my best friend."
I stood up and Yuri and his mother left .
Angelo said ," So basically the threat is over ."
I nodded," Hmm".
Section E came there and told that Keiren and Keigan are okay . There are just several bruises, but they are scared.
Aries and Percy came too . Aries said" Doctor said that Jason can never walk again . He is paralyzed".
Angelo said "Yuri is also alright". And he explained everything that happened now to them .
They all sighed and wave of releif washed over them too , that can be seen on their faces .
Calix spoke "And how's ..... "
But he was interrupted by the sound of door opening.
Doctor came out and Ci-n was the first one to ask "How's Jay ?"
Doctor said "What happened to her ? She is having many major and deep wounds. Her right arm is badly fractured."
My fists clenched too hard that my knuckles went white.
He continued "Her inner organs are affected. If you won't have been reached here on time , I am afraid she might have faced consequences."
Everyone's jaw clenched.
"Consequences..." Aries said .
" Yes consequences like complications in pregnancy, because she is badly injured in stomach. But thank God there is none , but still there will be some chances that ... "
" What chances doctor?" Percy asked .
" Chances that her menstruation cycle will be affected . Her periods will come regularly but her body will face some kind of unbearable pain ." He took a pause . "And she can conceive but there are still some chances of complications and infertility ."
"So you have to take care of her more . And you can meet her , she is awake ."
Whole Section E entered but I stood there frozen .
Angelo POV
Everyone went to meet Jay , but Keifer didn't move . I know what he is thinking.
But for now , my question is how to tell this to my mom and Jay's mom ?.
And who will mar ...
"Angelo !" Keifer called me interrupting my thoughts.
I replied "Hmmm" .
"I want to marry Jay." He said directly looking into my eyes .
Keifer POV
Yeah finally, I said what I wanted to say from a long time .
"And you don't even have to tell this Jay's mom or even Jay ."
I knew Angelo must be thinking about this .
"You sure Keifer ! Even after knowing this ." He asked .
"Yes Angelo , I love her . I love her truly from my heart. Even if she have some problems in her pregnancy, I don't care about it . What matters to me the most is Jay ."
"Fine , I will talk to her mom" . He said and left .
I saw Jay from the window . She was smiling, happy with Section E. Her right arm fractured, plastered .
Angelo came back and said ," It was hard , but she agreed when I told her that you love her truly".
"Then it's settled, I will propose her on her this birthday and we will get engaged." I said .
He nodded, a small smile framing on his lips .
Section E, Aries and Percy came outside and left .
Angelo nudged me to go inside and left too .
I went inside and saw Jay , she was deep in thoughts .
She didn't even noticed me coming . I went to her , placed by hand on her shoulder , "Jay".
She looked at me and hugged me . I hugged her back taking care of her right arm .
