"And that is the only memory that keeps me alive to this date. It is also one of the last good memories that I have before leaving that world and appearing in this." Aefia wrote down on her notebook. It has been two weeks since she had arrived and things were looking great until a few incidents started and made it another one of those lives she had lived back on Earth.
Her left eye was still a painful burden and things with Nada were going down by time. Anasiy was a bit persuaded by her background history as a Mafia member, but she still didn't want to understand the fact that the way her uncle's company ran was to solely eliminate corrupted politicians, just like how Aefia failed to believe it at first.
I wonder if life back on Earth is still going great the way I left it. My uncle is probably going to be a bit shocked when he finds out that his newly elected 'underboss' has gone missing.
Although, those memories are telling me a few things. One is, now that I am gone, are the members able to minimize the threat count around my uncle? He still has one or two surprise attacks coming and going every month. Another thing is, I did promise my uncle that I would appear whenever there was a problem.
Anyway, time to put my past behind and concerntrate on my present. For now, I seem to have a misunderstanding with Nada and the others. The only one who seems to understand or co-operate with me is Helio.
I am not certain if he is co-operating due to my strength, as in fears my power, or simply wishes to form an alliance in order to get some help if there are any in the future. I can't say which is certainly true since I am not a good mind reader.
To be honest, I am not a mind reader myself, but I can read some peoples' expressions, so I could have at least attempted that method. That was how I solved majority of my cases and all of them were successful.
Her classes and training was going good and she hadn't received any notes or any warning for the next mission from the unknown creatures who pulled her into the dimension which was the fallen world of Hellas, and the second unidentified dimension which seems to be their home or a meeting place.
Whatever they were, they had the freedom to rule over Aefia, which was pretty irritating for her from the beginning of this mess. The dimensional shift was not only painful, but emotionally draining and sudden. Without a word, she would be stabbed or her eye would be plucked out.
So far, besides the fight with the beast and the inter-diemensional fight, she didn't have to go through anymore battles unless it was an artificial one created by Ms. Avry. And everytime, the only thing Aefia could do, would be to contribute in the clean-up.
It was uncertain as to why Ms. Avry was so obsessed with the idea of Aefia staying away from the battle. But thanks to the help coming from the creatures, Aefia got the opportunity to grow stronger while preparing for the next mission.
Her researches were going well and she had successfully finished a few that were assigned by her teacher, Ms. Avry. Besides that, they got more teachers who came in and taught them a few more subjects like science, math and ancient aglic.
They would scarcely get to learn history since their time was short and so were the days of the week. It was unlike on Earth how people had eleven to twelve hours of daylight. Though, Aefia didn't understand why the time on this planet was so oddly arranged.
The days of the week were also an oddly named one. For which, Aefia would go with the calendar from Earth instead. She would use the days Monday to Friday to fit into the weeks of this planet so her work and organizing schedule was easier.
During her studies, she deeply wished she had a better holiday location on Earth instead of one in an entirely different dimension and in a world called Nikoan which she was never familiar with.
What kind of cursed luck did I get?! My one month of break, wasted. Although, uncle did say I am free to go back whatever time I wanted to. So maybe after I finish whatever this competition's goal is, I will take another one month break.
For that, I will silence every other fantasy worlds out so they can't call me into it or Isekai me to. That would be an amazing and thrilling experience if things went the way I planned.
Anyway, back to work. Now what was I supposed to do again? Oh right, I am supposed to meet Ms. Avry and the others at one in the afternoon for the open-house expo.
She clicked open her pocket watch and read the time. The gold chain was left hanging around and over her wrist. The intricate patterns on the cover reflected most of the shine onto her mirror which in return, blinded her.
This caused her to misunderstand the reading on the ticking surface and leave at least five minutes late. Her black-velvet cloak was a common thing for her now and she would only half-pull down her hood when she was going out.
She didn't mind having the metallic epaulettes and the cloak attached on, since nobody really cared of someone dressed that fancy. In fact, they found out that there was a rule for all school students to wear something which was handed down from a noble, anywhere except at school.
Since Aefia and fourteen other members were considered students, it was perfectly binded with it. As a multiple law-breaker, Aefia thought that she could try and be a law abiding citizen for once, at least in this world.
Even when she was completely different in person in Nikoan, one thing was common in both her lives; killing, hunting and fighting.

She ran downstairs in a rush when she checked her pocket watch just five minutes later. She took her brown leather satchel and picked up her gun and knife. She pinned her knife in front of her cloak since she had the cover altered to make it look like a brooch. She added a keychain at the end of the handle to make it look like it's part of the brooch but with a dangling ornament.
Her gun was placed inside her cloak's inner pocket and her black boots were cleaned too. The open-house she and her four other teammates were going to today, was the confirmation of the house Ms. Avry was going to buy for the five of them.
Ms. Avry was asked a lot of times why she had to buy the house with her pocket while she could ask the students to contribute to the fee. Most of the time, she would reply by saying, "After three months or more, you guys will be forced to leave anyway, so why not just buy it when you can own it for the rest of your life while also, your students can stay during the three months."
"That isn't a fair way to answer such a question we asked. But we will consider it I guess. At least let us help pay the bills?"
"I mean, that is something you all will have to contribute in. That includes food and other materials too."
The conversation would than deplete to a silence before turning into a whole different topic.
When her teacher told them that they were going to an open-house, they though maybe they were going to search for homes or just see it, they didn't think they were going there for a checking and booking.
The way in which open-house worked back in Earth was as follows; an open house is primarily a marketing event used in real estate where a property for sale, is opened up to the general public for viewing during a specific, scheduled time. It allows a buyer to view the house without an appointment. The event is typically hosted by the seller's real estate agent, who is present to answer questions about the property, highlight its key features, and collect contact information from interested visitors.
For sellers, the open house is a critical marketing tool designed to generate significant interest and exposure quickly. By attracting a larger pool of potential buyers at once, the event can help create a sense of urgency or competition, which may encourage quicker decisions and potentially higher offers.
But the way in which an open-house worked in Nikoan, was as follows; the person interested in buying the house, goes for a visit within a scheduled time frame and within that time frame, the buyer can point out as much problems needed to be fixed or if there is any extra renovations wanted by the buyer.
During an open-house, the owner of the house themselves would be present instead, and any questions asked will be documented so the information could be accessed by the buyer later when they needed it. Once the house was fitted to the buyer's needs, the furnitures would be chosen.
Now this is the tricky part because your furniture, interior and how luxurious or elegant your house was, would fully depends on how much you are willing to pay. If you want your house to look like a mansion, you will need to pay the amount needed to maintain a mansion.
The furnitures are chosen based on your budget, but never have they chosen to step-up and give you second-hand, ragged furnitures which may be a burden to the future house owners.
After everything about the house has been settled, the new buyers move in and the full payment is made within one month of residing in the house. This is done to make sure you are comfortable and nothing has gone wrong or paranormal activities aren't bothering you in that house. For this rule, housing in Nikoan was seemingly better than on Earth.
The house was in Robertstown as promised a it was a two-storey bungalow with bright yellow paint in the outside and pastel green in the inside. The roofs were bricks tiles that would slide off upon someone jumping and landing on them. The ceiling was a bunch of straws strung together to form a wood-like feel.
The house overall felt like a Hawaiian or Carribean style house. It has flower designs drawn with vibrant colours onto the walls of different rooms. For example, the kitchen had a lily drawn onto it's front wall while the living room had a rose drawn into it.
During the open-house, Aefia got to choose her room and furniture type. She chose to go for a wooden setting and one with a window. Her room was at the middle of the hallway, in front of the staircase.
Aefia and her members waited for Ms. Avry to finish up before they could go grab their ceremonial outfit for the banquet being held two weeks later. At the thought of the banquet, Aefia got a bit upset.
To distract herself, she opened up her system to check her current status.
[Name: Aefia
Health: 400 HP
Strength: 8% ]
After a few days upon her arrival, she learned that her strength was the result of how much she had grown compared to how much she was supposed to grow, in health. So when her health increased, her strength would also increase.
The strength could also surpress a hundred percent if she managed to grow even more stronger after she had completed the minimum amount required.
"Alright. Let's get going. The house will be ready within the next week." Ms. Avry said while flapping a paper in the air. It was the contract.

Aefia threw the two bags worth of cloth onto her bed took them out one by one. Unlike Nada and Anasiy who got formal gowns which were matching, Aefia received a gentleman attire, which highly confused her. Only her ceremonial clothing stood out and she couldn't explain why.
"I believe this suits your manners better." The old lady had told her.
At least I am used to this sort of formal wear due to my time at the Mafia. Oh yeah, the trauma off suffering the summer heat everyday, was truly unbearable.
She assembled the entire set of cloths in order to get how it looked like out altogether.
This is straight out of a video game! It's got ornaments and crystals everywhere! And there are a lot of dangling chains in gold and silver and star and moon ornaments, what am I supposed to be? A cosplayer? The shoes are even more captivating, it's soles are red and the top is a shiny black with the matching chain and ornaments from the entire outfit!
