Miss Emmanuella wakes up from her sleep. She yawns tiredly as she goes down on her knees. She says a little prayer then gets up. She walks to her phone and checks the time.
Her eyes widens in shock as it lands on the huge nine O'Clock on her phone screen. "Oh my! We are already late for service." She quickly rushes to Amanda's room, barging in and walking straight to Amanda. She begins shaking Amanda. "Amanda dear." She calls, shaking Amanda more.
"Mmmm." Amanda groans sleepily as she sits up. "Mum, is it you?" She asks, still lost in her sleepy state.
Miss Emmanuella laughs. "No. It's Princess tickles' mother." She jokes.
Amanda eyes widens with joy as every sign of sleep leaves her instantly. "Really?!" She shouts with a wide smile, but frowns when she sees her mother. "Mummmmm..." She pouts. "I was doing sleep over at Princess tickles' house."
Miss Emmanuella blinks in confusion. "Oh." She chuckles. "Aren't you too old for such dreams."
Amanda turns red a little. "Well..." She trails off, feeling embarrassed.
"It's okay, hon." Miss Amanda laughs softly. "Go wash your face and head to my room. I'll meet you shortly."
"Okay." Amanda says tiredly.
"Good, love." Miss Emmanuella leaves Amanda room and begins walking straight to Mercy's room. "I wonder what that little man would be dreaming about." She jokes and laughs. She reaches his room and enters, expecting Mercy to be sleeping in one of his amusing sleeping positions that defies gravity, but surprisingly sees him sitting on the other side of his bed, his back facing the door.
"Good morning, mum." Mercy says dryly, not turning to look at his mum.
Miss Emmanuella feels a rush of discomfort and unease. She feels the presence she felt yesterday in the room. But this time it is much stronger. It's like the thing causing it, wants to show itself.
"Are you okay love?" She asks worriedly.
Mercy laughs. "I am okay. Are you?"
"Yes. I am, love."
"Great." Mercy says. "Hope you slept well?"
"Yes, I did. Did you?"
"Yes. I did."
"Good." Miss Emmanuella enters the room, the feeling of the presence and the presence becoming stronger. "Why aren't you facing me, son?" She asks worriedly.
"Oh..." Mercy trails off, laughing softly. "My bad." He turns to face his mother, but her eyes widens in horror.
She stands still as she stares at the stranger sitting on the bed. "Who are you?!" She shouts. "Where is my Mercy and what have you done with him?!"
Mercy's hair completely turns black. His blue and purple pupils turns red. But his face still remains a different face. He laughs lightly. "Sorry you weren't meant to see this."
Miss Emmanuella doesn't answer as she is too horrified to talk. "P... please where is my...my son?" She manages to say as tears begins running down her face.
Mercy frowns. "You are looking at him." He says, turning back into himself instantly.
Miss Emmanuella begins sobbing. "You aren't my Mercy!" She shouts. "Give me my Mercy!"
Mercy begins sobbing.
Miss Emmanuella stares in confusion. "Why are you sobbing when you are not my Mercy?!" She asks calmly.
"Because I am your Mercy." Mercy says in a pained tone as his sobbing intensifies.
Miss Emmanuella feels a strong urge to go to him and comfort him, but doesn't want to take any dangerous risk.
The whole room turns completely dark and black. The only source of light being the four bulbs in the room. Lots of blood begins running down the room's walls.
Miss Emmanuella is now trembling in fear, not understanding what is going on anymore.
"I am truly Mercy, dear mother of mine." Mercy pleads as his sobbing keeps intensifying. "Please. Help me. Save me." He says weakly.
Miss Emmanuella begins crying intensely as she wants to help the boy, but she is confused on what to do. "Mercy, is it truly you?"
"Ye-"
A shadowy hand comes out from behind Mercy and covers his nose and mouth, cutting him short.
Mercy begins mumbling and struggling, trying to release himself from the hand's grip, but fails as it's only his head that is moving. His body can't move. It's like they don't belong to him anymore. He looks at his mum with pleading eyes.
Another shadowy hand shoots out from his behind and covers his eyes.
Mercy falls still.
The whole room falls quiet.
Miss Emmanuella lies on the floor more horrified. Guilt begins creeping it's way into her. For some reason she believes the boy is Mercy and that she has failed him badly, but she is still confused on what to do. She begins crying uncontrollably. "Leave my child alone!" She manages to shout. "Leave him!"
A deep dark demonic laughter fills the room as blood begins coming out from the floor.
Miss Emmanuella quickly jumps up. She begins feeling a strong urge to vomit, but holds it in.
A shadowy head with two glowing red eyes comes out from behind Mercy, positioning itself above his shoulder. It laughs louder, sending fear through Miss Emmanuella's body.
"Leave my son, you foul spirit!" Miss Emmanuella shouts. "Leave him alone! He does not want you! He does not belong to you!"
The shadowy figure continues laughing it's dark demonic laugh, sending more fear into Miss Emmanuella. "He doesn't, but he has no other option."
She laughs dryly. "You lie, you demon!" She shouts. "You lie!"
The figure only laughs. "See for yourself." It removes it's two hands from Mercy's face.
Mercy is smiling a nice sweet genuine smile that screams pure joy. "Don't worry mum, I'm okay." He says happily.
Miss Emmanuella stares in confusion shock and horror. "How...how is it possible?" She asks weakly. "You...you can't be serious Mercy!" She shouts. "Leave it now and come to me."
"It's okay mum." Mercy says sweetly. "You can come to us. It's totally safe. I promise."
"No! No! No! No! No!..." Miss Emmanuella keeps on shouting. She begins vomiting due to the excess stench of blood and something else. Her eyes widens in horror as she looks around and sees dead bodies all over the room. People that are killed in the worst way imaginable. She vomits more as she can't hold them in anymore. "Come, Mercy!" She shouts in a pleading tone. "Let's go!" She turns to where Mercy is sitting before, but he isn't there anymore.
A man begins screaming and when she turns, she sees Mercy standing before the man as the man begins stabbing himself, begging for death.
Miss Emmanuella screams, not understanding what's happening anymore. "Mer... Mercy... What's go... going on?!" She shouts, but Mercy ignores her.
Mercy begins twitching. He stops and turns to face his mother. "Mum..." He trails off as lots of blood begins running down from his eyes. "I'm only simply satisfying my pleasure." He says as a wide dark grin appears on his face. It changes into a grin of pleasure. "Oh dear mother of mine. It feels so so good." He says in a pleasured tone as a moan escapes his lip.
Miss Emmanuella watches in horror, not knowing what to say. She vomits again and falls on her knees, too weak to continue standing. She bends her head and begins shouting and crying uncontrollably.
"Mum?" Mercy calls in a worried tone. "Are you okay?"
She looks up at the boy who is now walking towards her. "Please tell me this is a dream!" She shouts pleadingly, but gets no reply.
Mercy appears in front of her in an instant and attempts to touch her, but shouts in pain, vanishing and reappearing in another part of the room, sobbing. "I'm sorry, mum. But this is who I am now."
"No!" Miss Emmanuella shouts. "I won't accept it!" She closes her eyes and begins praying intensely. She opens her eyes to see Mercy's eyes are now pure white and he looks like he is in a trance state. She shuts her eyes again, adding more energy to her prayer. She could hear Mercy shouting and begging, but ignores him.
"Mum! Please stop!" He shouts, running around as he feels like he is engulfed in flames. "Mum! Please!" He shouts in a deep demonic tone that causes Miss Emmanuella to shiver.
Miss Emmanuella adds more energy into her praying.
Mercy tries to escape, but it's feels like he is sealed in the room.
Miss Emmanuella feels something hold her hand and she flinches. She opens her eyes to see a man that is smiling softly at her.
The man is emitting a bright white light that fills the room. "Fear not." He says in a calm soothing tone. "The Lord has hear your prayers and for that reason he shall surely save your child. That is his promise. So, keep praying and never stop, for the Lord loves a prayerful soul and doesn't disappoint them. Be rest assured that no matter what, your child shall be saved if he chooses to be." The man disappears.
The word of the man and his encouragement fills Miss Emmanuella with peace hope and joy.
"Thank you, Lord!" She shouts happily. "Thank you, Lord! Thank you Lord!..." She keeps chanting it, not minding about her environment. She looks at Mercy who is now transfixed in one spot.
Mercy looks at her, dread and horror all over his face. He begins shaking violently, more blood running out from his cold white eyes. He stops, staring into space in a trance state. He begins opening his mouth slowly as his lips changes blood red. The moment it is open, an eye appears in it. The eye have a black pupil shaped like a skull and a ring around the pupil. Three more skull shaped pupils; red black and dark grey appear on the ring around the pupils. The three pupils begins spinning slowly.
Miss Emmanuella shouts in horror and closes her eye. "Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!..." She continues shouting. Although it feels strange to her, it feels more right to her.
She opens her eyes to see a bigger red lips with the same eyes occupying Mercy's whole chest as he stands motionless.
She shouts.
"Wake up!"
She hears someone shout. And before she knows what is happening she finds herself looking at a worried Mrs Anna and Amanda.
Mercy quickly runs into the room. "What's going on?!" He shouts in a worried tone.
Miss Emmanuella quickly stands up and rushes to the boy. She hugs him tight and he hugs her back, rubbing her back gently. "Thank God it's all a dream." She says in a calm tone as she begins sobbing.
Mrs Anna and Amanda stares at her in confusion.
Mercy eyes flashes red in a second then turns back to normal. "It's okay, mum." He says in a calm tone. "I am okay. I am fine." His eyes flashes red again then back to normal. "There's nothing to be scared of. I and everything is alright and okay."
