"Patriotism" tells the story of Herimamy, a young Malagasy man driven by a profound love for his land and culture. From an early age, he feels an ardent desire to understand, protect, and value the heritage of his people. Inspired by his grandmother's stories and his observations of daily life, Herimamy embarks on a personal journey to awaken the patriotic consciousness of his community.
He begins by immersing himself in Malagasy history and traditions, then strives to pass on this knowledge to the younger generations. He organizes workshops, private lessons, and cultural games to stimulate their interest and enthusiasm. Despite difficulties and resistance, Herimamy perseveres, finding strength in his love for his country and the support of his loved ones.
Over time, he notices the first results of his work: young people are becoming interested in their history, singing traditional songs, and taking action to protect their environment. Herimamy understands that patriotism is not limited to words, but must manifest itself in the daily actions and behaviour of every individual. He continues his work, inspiring and guiding young people toward a future where Malagasy culture and values will be preserved and celebrated.
