Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 : Seal It, black-winged great demon!

The Unkillable Foe

Regenerative Healing. This was the power of the Arrancar's ultimate survival skill. Ordinary Hollows shed it for offensive might, but Ulquiorra Cifer had retained it. As long as the Take Over was active, any external injury—no matter how severe—would vanish instantly. Only destruction to the brain or internal organs would stop him.

"What?!" "How is that possible?!" "It healed!!"

The onlookers—the mayor, the defeated bandits, and the desperate Elfman—were stunned. This level of healing defied all known magic.

"You bastard..." Camille's composure finally cracked. Not only was this kid a terrifying powerhouse, but he was also essentially immortal against external attacks.

"Your magic should be Full Reflection Magic, right?" Qi Yan stated, his eyes cold and analytical, ignoring Camille's shock.

Camille, momentarily regaining his arrogance, laughed. "Not bad, kid! You guessed my magic with just two attacks. That's right! My magic is Full Reflection. No magic or attack can harm me, yet my attacks can freely hit you all."

"What?! How can there be such an unreasonable magic!" Elfman was aghast. How could such an enemy ever be defeated?

"Now you know the gap between us, don't you?" Camille gloated. "You're strong—your speed, your strength, that incredible regeneration—all terrifying. But you can't do anything to me."

He pointed a finger at Qi Yan. "And you're using Take Over Magic. This power has a cost. When your magic power runs out and you release your transformation, that will be your death! Hahahahaha!"

At that moment, Elfman rushed forward, placing his massive body between Qi Yan and the assassin. "You won't!"

Qi Yan patted Elfman's shoulder, a gesture of calm assurance. "It's alright, don't worry so much. This guy is just boasting. Full Reflection Magic seems unsolvable, but it doesn't mean he's that powerful. If he were truly powerful, he wouldn't be standing there motionless; he would have rushed over to deal with me already."

He continued, exposing the flaw. "Full Reflection Magic is powerful, but it doesn't mean it can reflect everything. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been reduced to a stray dog."

Camille's tone instantly turned icy. "Hmph! You're very calm. My reflection does have limits. If the power exceeds a certain boundary, I can't reflect it either. But do you think you can break my limit? That last attack was already your strongest magic, wasn't it? My attacks can't harm you right now, but how much longer can you last?"

"Three minutes," Qi Yan answered succinctly.

"Eh—?!" Elfman gaped. Why tell him that!

Camille, however, burst into arrogant laughter. "Three minutes?! Hahahahaha!! Kid, enjoy your last three minutes!!" He'd expected a long, drawn-out battle, not a guaranteed victory in 180 seconds.

Elfman's face went grim. He whispered to Qi Yan. "Qi Yan, you run away immediately later, don't look back. I'll deal with him!" He was prepared to risk the catastrophic loss of control by using Beast King Take Over, the same mistake that led to Lisanna's presumed death.

Resurrección: The Ultimate Threat

Just then, Qi Yan's voice, utterly devoid of emotion, sliced through the tension.

"Three minutes is enough."

Camille stopped laughing. "What did you say?!"

Qi Yan ignored him. He slowly raised his blade, pointing the Zanpakutō directly at Camille. The air around him began to distort. Then, he spoke the command in a soft, chilling chant:

"Seal it, black-winged great demon!"

Buzz—!

The sky above the mansion suddenly darkened. A terrifying, oppressive spiritual pressure erupted from Qi Yan's body, slamming into the environment.

"Woah!!" Elfman was violently blown backward, crashing against the mansion wall.

Black spiritual rain, not water but liquefied magic power, began to fall from the sky.

Camille frowned, confused by the strange precipitation. He attempted to reflect the drops but felt no hostile intent and gave up.

But as the drops hit his face, he realized his mistake. "This isn't real rain! These are drops of liquefied magic power!!"

The phenomenon vanished, and Qi Yan's body underwent a radical transformation.

His white coat was replaced by a white, one-piece robe. His head was encased in a helmet with two massive horns. The tear marks deepened, and most terrifyingly, a pair of huge, skeletal black bat wings unfurled from his back.

This was Ulquiorra's First Resurrección form.

Terrifying, raw, overwhelming power surged from Qi Yan, making the ground beneath him tremble. Camille felt an instinctual, primal fear—the kind one felt only when facing monsters among the Ten Wizard Saints.

"Don't waver. Get into position, tense your nerves, and don't let up for a single instant." Qi Yan's voice was flat and cold, his eyes staring at Camille as if the assassin was already dead.

Camille was provoked beyond reason. "Huh?! What nonsense are you spouting, you stinking brat!! You haven't even scratched me until now! And you say I'm wavering?! You only have less than a minute left! You should be the one wavering, shouldn't you?! Just wait to be tortured to death by me after one minute!"

Qi Yan's black eyes, like twin pools of night, held no pity.

"One minute is enough."

Qi Yan has sacrificed two minutes of his limited power time for the massive surge of Ulquiorra's first Resurrección. Can the immense destructive force of this new form finally break the limits of Camille's Full Reflection Magic in sixty seconds?
