Chapter 123 - Three Little Pieces of Us

JAY-JAY POV

After all the chaos, the laughter, the frosting wars, and the naming debates… Everyone left.

The house felt quieter now, like it was exhaling.

It was just me, Keifer, Keigan, and Keiran

Keiran sat cross‑legged on the rug, eyes wide with wonder. "Ate," he asked, tilting his head, "how is it possible for you to have three babies?"

I blushed so hard I thought my face might combust. Keifer choked on his water.

Keigan looked up from the couch, smirking. "Oh no. I know that look. Jay's turning into a tomato."

"Keigan," I groaned, hiding my face.

He leaned forward, voice full of mock drama. "So tell me, Ate… was it a science experiment? Did you mix chaos and romance in a blender?"

Keifer laughed, nudging me. "I think it was more like a lightning strike. Three babies in one go? That's superhero stuff."

Keiran nodded seriously. "So you're saying Ate has powers?"

Keigan gasped. "She's not just Ate. She's Mama Jay, the legendary triplet summoner!"

I threw a pillow at him. "Stop it!"

Keigan caught it midair, grinning. "I'm just saying, if you start glowing or levitating, I'm calling the government."

Keifer leaned closer, whispering with a smirk, "I mean… she did summon me. That's already suspicious."

I groaned louder. "I hate all of you."

Kerian giggled. "But we love you. And your babies. All three."

Keigan winked. "Especially now that we get to tease you forever. You're never living this down."

"Jay, dinner's ready," Keifer called from the kitchen.

I nodded, still a little dazed from the whirlwind of the day.

I walked over to the dinner table, the soft clinking of plates grounding me.

Keifer had set everything out — rice, grilled chicken, sautéed vegetables, and a bowl of soup that smelled like comfort.

I sat down slowly and started to eat, the silence between bites feeling sacred.

Keigan joined me, sliding into the seat across from mine. "You okay?" he asked gently.

I nodded. "Just… letting it all sink in."

Kerian plopped down beside Keifer, already halfway through his rice. "I still think it's magic. Three babies. Ate's a superhero."

Keifer chuckled, handing me a spoon. "You are. And you need to eat like one."

I smiled, taking the spoon. "Thanks, Chef."

He winked. "Chef, husband, future diaper warrior. I do it all."

Keigan snorted. "You better. Three babies means triple the chaos."

Kerian raised his spoon like a sword. "I'll help! I'll be the baby knight!"

I laughed, the warmth of dinner and family settling into my bones.

After everything — the reveal, the teasing, the naming wars — this quiet moment felt like the beginning of something real.

After dinner, we went upstairs.

The house was finally quiet — no shouting, no guitars, no frosting wars.

Just the soft creak of the stairs beneath our feet.

We stepped into our room, the warmth of the day finally settling into my bones.

Keifer closed the door gently, his hand lingering on the knob before turning to me.

"Jay," he said softly, his voice stripped of all the chaos. "It's just us now."

He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close until I could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against mine.

The silence upstairs was different — not heavy like the hospital, not loud like the living room.

It was gentle, like the world had finally given us space to breathe.

I pressed my forehead against his chest, closing my eyes. "It feels… unreal," I whispered. "Three babies. Us."

Keifer's hand slid up to cradle the back of my head. "It's real. And it's ours. No matter how chaotic it gets, this moment… this is just us."

I smiled faintly, my blush still lingering from Kerian's earlier question. "You make it sound easy."

He chuckled, low and warm. "It won't be easy. But it'll be worth it. Every sleepless night, every diaper, every laugh. Worth it because it's with you."

My chest tightened, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. "Keifer…"

He tilted my chin up, forcing me to meet his gaze.

His eyes were raw, unguarded, shimmering with something deeper than joy. "I'm choosing forever, Jay. You, me, and them."

I leaned into his kiss, soft and reverent, sealing the promise between us.

And in that quiet room, wrapped in his arms, I knew — the chaos outside didn't matter.

The world could roar, but here, it was just us.

"Keif," I called softly, my voice barely above a whisper in the quiet room.

"Hmm?" he answered, his arms still wrapped around me, his warmth steady.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" I asked, my cheeks heating as the words slipped out.

He tilted his head, thoughtful, then smiled. "I wouldn't mind anyone," he said gently. "But…" His eyes softened, shimmering with something deeper. "I would love to have a little Jay running around."

My blush deepened, my heart thudding against his chest. "Keifer…"

He chuckled, pressing his forehead against mine. "Imagine it — a tiny version of you, with your smile, your stubbornness, your chaos. I'd be the happiest man alive."

"But I want a little Keifer," I said, my voice muffled against his chest, cheeks burning.

He froze for a second, then laughed softly, the sound rumbling through me. "A little me?" he teased, tilting my chin up so I had to meet his eyes. "You mean a tiny troublemaker running around with my grin?"

I blushed harder, nodding. "Yes. A little Keifer. Someone who'll drive me crazy but make me smile every second."

His gaze softened, shimmering with warmth. "Then I hope one of them is a boy… so he can be your little Keifer. But even if they're girls, they'll still carry me. And they'll carry you. That's what makes them ours."

I swallowed, my heart thudding. "Three little pieces of us."

He kissed my forehead gently. "Exactly. And no matter who they look like, they'll be loved. Legendary chaos, remember?"

I laughed through my blush, whispering, "Legendary chaos… with a little Keifer in the mix."
