Chapter 130 - Chaos, Love, and Lullabies

JAY-JAY POV

We were disturbed by a knock on the door.

"Ate, come fast!" Keiran called from outside, his voice urgent with excitement.

I sighed, glancing at Keifer. "Let's go. Gender reveal first, kiss later."

He nodded, but his grin was mischievous. "How many kisses?"

I groaned, blushing. "Keifer… not now. But I'll give you as many as you want later."

His eyes lit up, boyish happiness spreading across his face.

He nodded eagerly, like a kid promised candy.

I shook my head, laughing softly. Even in the middle of chaos, he always found a way to make it about us.

And that's why I loved him — because no matter how big the storm outside,

He always reminded me that our love was the calm at the center of it.

We headed downstairs, and of course, everyone was already gathered — waiting, ready to tease.

"Wow, Jay, what were you two doing?" Ci‑n asked, his smirk sharp and sarcastic.

"Nothing," I said quickly, my cheeks already warming.

Eren leaned back with a grin. "I hope so. You're already pregnant — that too with triplets."

Kit added smoothly, his voice elegant but mischievous. "Yeah, I don't think Jay can take more."

My blush deepened, spreading across my face like fire. "You guys—" I started, but the words tangled in my throat.

"Shut up," Kuya Angelo cut in, his tone protective. He turned to me, his expression softening. "How are you, Jay?"

I exhaled, grateful for the shift. "Good," I said, smiling faintly.

But the teasing didn't stop — I could feel the boys' eyes on me, their grins wide, their laughter bubbling just under the surface.

And in that moment, I realized:

this was exactly what Keifer meant when he said chaos.

Family, friends, teasing, love — all of it wrapped together.

"Okay, let's go outside. We'll play some games before revealing the gender," Keifer announced, his voice carrying that mix of authority and excitement.

Everyone nodded, and just like that, the energy shifted — laughter, chatter, and footsteps filled the air as we all headed toward the garden.

"Okay, the first game is easy," I announced, clapping my hands to get everyone's attention.

"The game name is Baby Food Guessing Game. It's simple — one of you will be blindfolded, and you'll have to guess the flavors of baby food. I'll be the one feeding you… and yes, I can add any silliness I want."

I raised my brows. "Understood?"

They all nodded, some grinning, some groaning.

"Okay, who's first?" I asked.

Ci‑n shot his hand up immediately, smirk plastered across his face. "Me. Let's get this over with. I'm not scared of baby food."

The boys laughed, already whispering bets. Mayo shouted, "He's gonna spit it out!" while Felix muttered, "he'll fail at least two flavors."

I tied the blindfold around Ci‑n's eyes, and he leaned back dramatically. "Alright,Jay, feed me. But if this is something gross, I'm suing."

I giggled, holding up the first spoon. "No suing allowed. Open wide."

He groaned but obeyed, tasting the food.

His face twisted instantly. "What the— is this… carrots? No, wait… pumpkin?!"

The room erupted in laughter.

Keifer shook his head, grinning. "You look like you're fighting for your life."

Ci‑n scowled under the blindfold. "This is sabotage. I demand a retrial."

Chaos filled the air, and I couldn't stop laughing.

This was exactly what I wanted — fun, silliness, and family all tangled together before the big reveal.

"Who's next?" I asked, scanning the room.

Silence. Nobody wanted to volunteer after seeing Ci‑n's dramatic reaction.

I smirked. "Fine, I'll pick. Denzel, come on — you should have some experience."

His head snapped up, eyes wide. "Why me?" he asked, already defensive.

Grace giggled from the corner, bouncing little Gracezel in her arms. "Come on, don't be scared," she teased.

The boys erupted in laughter. Mayo shouted, "Yeah, Denzel! You're a dad, you should be a pro at baby food!"

Blaster added with a grin, "If you fail, Gracezel's gonna judge you forever."

He came forward, opened his mouth reluctantly, and tried the spoonful I gave him. His face twisted for a moment, then he straightened.

"Banana," he said confidently.

The room erupted.

"He actually got it right!" Keiran shouted, clapping his hands.

Grace laughed, bouncing Gracezel in her arms. "See? Daddy instincts."

Mayo groaned dramatically, flopping onto the couch. "No way! He's cheating. Gracezel must've given him the answer telepathically."

Blaster strummed an imaginary guitar. "Banana man! Den, you're officially the band's new mascot."

Denzel pulled off the blindfold, smirking proudly. "Told you. I've got experience."

The game went on, each round louder than the last.

Ci‑n kept complaining about sabotage, Mayo gagged so hard everyone laughed until their stomachs hurt, and Kit made every guess sound like a royal decree.

By the end, the table was a mess of empty jars, spoons, and laughter.

My cheeks hurt from smiling, my belly from laughing.

This was chaos — but it was the kind of chaos I loved.

"Next game," I announced, clapping my hands. "This one's called Baby Relay Challenge!"

Everyone leaned in, curious.

"The rules are simple," I explained, grinning. "Each team has to carry a baby doll through an obstacle course — but you have to do it while acting like real parents. That means: You can't drop the baby. You have to stop halfway to 'feed' it with a bottle. And you have to sing a lullaby before crossing the finish line."

The boys groaned, already laughing.

"Teams will be: Jare with Aries, Kuya Angelo with Keiran, and Keifer with me," I said, pointing at each pair.

Mayo shouted, "This is going to be chaos!" while Blaster started humming dramatic background music.

Jare smirked, adjusting his sleeves. "Easy. Aries and I will win. We're the most coordinated."

Aries grinned, competitive fire in his eyes. "Don't underestimate us."

Kuya Angelo chuckled, patting Keiran's shoulder. "We'll show them how it's done. Right Keiran"

Keiran looked nervous. "Uh… I'm not good with dolls. What if it pops like the balloons?"

Everyone burst out laughing.

Keifer leaned down, whispering in my ear. "We're winning this, babe. No one can beat us."

I rolled my eyes but smiled. "We'll see."

The stage was set — baby dolls in hand, obstacle course ready, and the boys buzzing with competitive energy.

The whistle blew, and the relay began.

Team Jare & Aries shot forward first.

Aries cradled the baby doll like it was made of glass, his face dead serious. "Don't drop it, Jare. Precision is everything."

Jare rolled his eyes, jogging beside him. "Bro, it's a doll. Chill."

Aries ignored him completely, stopping at the halfway mark to "feed" the doll with exaggerated care.

He even burped it before moving on.

The crowd roared with laughter.

Team Kuya Angelo & Keiran were next.

Angelo carried the doll with ease, but Keiran was a mess.

"Kuya, it's staring at me!" Keiran yelped, gripping the bottle like it was a weapon.

"It's a doll, Keiran," Angelo said, trying not to laugh. "Focus."

But when Keiran tried to sing the lullaby, his voice cracked so badly everyone doubled over. "Twinkle, twinkle—AHHH!" he screamed as the doll slipped slightly.

The boys howled. "Keiran, you're fighting for your life again!" Ci‑n shouted.

Team Jay & Keifer started last, but Keifer had his own agenda.

He carried the doll in one arm, and with the other, he kept sneaking kisses on my cheek.

"Keif!" I laughed, trying to keep us moving. "Focus on the game!"

"I am," he said, grinning. "But you're the real prize."

We stopped at the feeding station, and instead of feeding the doll, Keifer pretended to feed me. "Open wide, babe."

I smacked his arm, blushing furiously. "You're ridiculous!"

By the time we reached the lullaby section, Keifer wrapped his arm around me and sang softly in my ear instead of to the doll.

"Beautiful, and mine," he whispered, kissing my forehead.

The crowd erupted in cheers and teasing.

"Disqualified for PDA!" Mayo shouted, while Blaster strummed a dramatic tune.

By the end, the garden was filled with laughter, chaos, and playful arguments over who really won.

Aries insisted his team was the most "professional."

Angelo claimed his team had the best teamwork.

Keifer just smirked, holding me close. "We won. No contest."

I shook my head, smiling. "If this is what parenting looks like, we're in for a storm."

And everyone laughed, because they knew — the storm was already here.
