Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 ֎: A horrific confrontation in the disaster classroom.

—Onii-chan!!— screamed Izumi, completely desperate as she ran toward Izuku.

—Izuku!!— shouted Uraraka, unable to believe what had just happened.

—Izuku, are you okay?!— asked Momo, visibly worried, remembering what she had seen earlier: the supposed blood on Izuku's hand.

—Don't worry— said Izuku quickly, approaching his sister and calming her with a hug. —See? I'm not hurt— he added, showing her his hand, which showed no sign of any serious injury.

When everyone saw that Izuku wasn't injured, the tension eased slightly... but only for a moment. Izuku stepped forward with determination, focusing his gaze on the group of villains still emerging from the portal. His attention locked especially on the two figures who seemed to be leading them.

Without wasting time, he slammed his black whips against the ground with impressive force, tearing a huge chunk of concrete. With surprising precision and power, he threw it so fast that the projectile tore through the air like a missile, brutally striking one of the leaders. The impact shattered part of the skull mask, ripping off a piece and revealing part of the man's face.

—Izuku!!— shouted his classmates and teachers in unison, completely astonished by the green-haired boy's reckless action.

—Young Himura, why on earth did you perform such a dangerous maneuver?!— snapped Aizawa, his brow furrowed, more agitated and irritated than usual.

—I see you've recovered, Professor Aizawa...— said Izuku calmly, not taking his eyes off the villains. —Don't worry. I'm just getting the attention of the most troublesome one.

Izuku's target was clear. And seeing the villains' reactions, he knew he had succeeded. Without wasting a second, he turned quickly to his classmates, ready to put his plan into motion.

—Momo, make me an ear communicator, quickly!— ordered Izuku with an urgency no one could ignore.

Though surprised, Momo reacted swiftly. In just seconds, she created the device and tossed it to him. Izuku caught it midair with precision and placed it in his ear without losing a single moment.

—Well, there's no time, but listen— he said. —I'll handle the major problem. I'll update you on the plan once it's dealt with.

—Young Himura, what are you intending...?— Aizawa tried to ask, but he couldn't finish.

Suddenly, a dark presence emerged behind the group. A thick black mist spread around them, with two yellow eyes glowing in the haze—cold and watchful.

—I'm afraid I can't allow you to escape. Greetings, we are the Association of…

He couldn't finish.

In the blink of an eye, Izuku vanished from his spot. Within seconds, he was right in front of the shadowy figure. A sharp sound echoed when Izuku clapped his hands together with such force that the air itself seemed to tremble. The fog scattered instantly, revealing the villain's physical body: a metallic structure resembling armor.

—What...?!— was all the villain managed to say.

He had no time to react. Izuku grabbed him firmly, holding his solid body effortlessly.

Then, the ground shook.

With a powerful leap, Izuku launched himself upward with such strength that he left a massive crater on the ground, lifting a cloud of dust and debris. The boom was deafening, and in an instant, both shot through the air at incredible speed.

The impact was devastating. They landed in the earthquake section, which resembled a ruined city. They crashed through multiple structures, making the buildings collapse like violent dominoes. Explosions and the sound of crumbling walls filled the air as their clash unleashed massive destruction in their path.

When they finally stopped, they were in a demolished chamber, surrounded by rubble and dust. The rumble still echoed around them, and the remains of collapsed structures creaked faintly. Amid the wreckage, Izuku stood firm, breathing steadily, body tense, still gripping the villain with unbreakable strength. His gaze was steady, determined... and fully ready for what came next.

Then, with unexpected calm, Izuku released the villain and stretched lightly, rolling his shoulders as if merely relaxing after minor exertion. His gaze swept across the chaos he had caused: fallen buildings, debris everywhere, and a crater still smoking where he had taken off.

—I only used ten percent of One for All...— he muttered to himself, staring at the devastation. —And with that... I caused all this mess. Definitely a bad idea to unlock part of that power so soon.

Then his eyes focused again on the villain, who still lay motionless on the floor. Izuku, however, smiled warmly and kindly.

—Come on, Shirakumo...— he said firmly but calmly. —Get up. I already know it's you.

The atmosphere tightened for a moment... until the villain began to move. With almost theatrical composure, he rose slowly, the mist around him gradually fading. As he stood, his form shifted, becoming more human. The metallic armor that had covered his body fell to the ground with a heavy clank, releasing the last wisps of dark smoke.

When the smoke cleared completely, his true form was revealed.

He was a tall man, around thirty, with an elegant posture and a serene air. He wore a spotless suit, much like a butler's, standing in stark contrast to the destruction around him. His light-blue hair, slightly wavy, seemed to float softly, giving him an ethereal, cloud-like appearance. His face, though calm, showed a mix of respect and... was that regret?

Then, with unexpected grace, the man bowed deeply to Izuku, as if paying him homage.

—Forgive me, my lord, for not having informed you sooner— he said in a soft yet formal, respectful voice.

Izuku took a step forward, still wearing that gentle smile.

—Don't worry... I'm glad to see you— he said sincerely, though seriousness quickly returned to his eyes. —But tell me... what happened to the original Kurogiri?

Shirakumo kept his respectful posture as he replied.

—Dead— he said with unsettling calm. —He discovered our infiltrator, and we had no choice but to eliminate him. Again, I beg your forgiveness. I'll accept any punishment you deem necessary.

For a moment, silence filled the ruined chamber. Izuku closed his eyes briefly, processing the information, and when he opened them again, the warmth was gone, replaced by pure resolve.

—Don't worry... you did the right thing.

The change in his tone was subtle, but the authority in his voice was unmistakable.

—Now, enough beating around the bush. How many villains did the enemy bring?

Shirakumo straightened slowly, his expression returning to neutrality.

—We estimate around two hundred villains. Nearly half are moving toward the points where I was supposed to send some students, as ordered. There are also two Nomus with multiple quirks.— He paused briefly, as if weighing his next words. —Additionally, six members of the "Deadly Sins" are present. One of them is already in this section and will arrive any moment. The others are scattered throughout the facility, following the plan.

Izuku narrowed his eyes, his mind processing the information rapidly.

—And their mission— Shirakumo added, —is to eliminate All Might... and kill the students using...

—I already know with what— interrupted Izuku, his voice heavy with restrained anger. —That disgusting poison.

The air grew thicker, the tension palpable. Izuku clenched his fists tightly; even the memory of that poison made his blood boil. It wasn't just a cruel weapon—it was proof of how far those bastards were willing to go.

—I'm sorry, master— said Shirakumo with a slight bow, his voice full of respect and regret.

Izuku took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure.

—Do you know how they got it?

—Yes— replied Shirakumo without hesitation. —If the "Deadly Sins" are involved in this attack, it's most likely because of that organization.

Izuku closed his eyes briefly, frustration mixing with determination.

—So, our assumptions were correct...— he said darkly. —Experimentation with the "Ruins" poison and the one we confiscated from that group of quirkless terrorists... Those bastards.

zuku exhaled slowly, letting the tension fade little by little, until once again he wore that calm, almost cheerful expression that characterized him when relaxed.

—It's very likely they still don't know about me— he said with a faint smile. —The false information we leaked is still working. That gives us a big advantage.

—Yes, sir— affirmed Shirakumo with a respectful nod. —What do you plan to do, master?

—First, stay here and return in a few minutes with the others. They still believe I neutralized you. I'll take care of the rest... and show those sinners what happens when karma collects what they owe.

Shirakumo bowed once more, his voice filled with devotion.

—I wish you success, great lord.

Izuku was about to leave, but suddenly remembered something, and his face lit up with a bright smile.

—Oh, by the way... A few days ago, I became a father to a lovely baby girl. I mention it so you can visit me after this mission—since you'll be the one protecting her from now on.

Shirakumo's eyes almost sparkled with joy, and his posture grew even more reverent.

—With great joy, I shall come as soon as the mission ends. I already want to see the little girl you've decided to protect under your wing— he said with a mix of respect and excitement.

Izuku gave him one last smile before vanishing quickly from the room, leaving Shirakumo alone... and slightly overwhelmed by his own excitement.

—I can't wait to meet her... I'll think about what to gift her... Would she like rabbits? Or maybe crowns? Or perhaps both?— murmured Shirakumo to himself, completely lost in his happy delusions.

—I can't believe we have to eliminate some kids who still can't control their quirks properly… what a waste. And the worst part is having to check the damage one of them caused. So boring… —muttered "Sloth" in his monotonous, emotionless voice.

The group of five villains accompanying him exchanged uneasy glances. They couldn't believe they had to follow someone so… depressing.

Sloth was a man surrounded by an aura of absolute exhaustion, as if nothing in the world mattered to him. Always hunched over, his short stature looked even smaller. He wore a huge cloak that dragged on the ground and a plague doctor–style mask that completely covered his tired face. Nothing about him inspired leadership, and his subordinates made that clear right away.

—Why do we have to follow this lazy bum? He's pathetic, just grunts and does nothing —one of the villains said with disdain.

—Stop it, he's listening to you. Remember we were ordered to follow him —another whispered nervously.

—Is this a joke? That guy's pathetic, I'll kill him for sure —growled the first one, cracking his knuckles as his rock quirk began to activate.

—Enough, it's not worth it...

—No! I'm sick of following someone so usele— He didn't finish the sentence.

From Sloth's shadow, a massive hand emerged and rose with terrifying speed. In the blink of an eye, it grabbed the villain's head and crushed it with a gruesome crack. The lifeless body fell like a rag to the floor, splattering blood all around.

Silence fell.

The other villains felt a cold shiver run down their spines. Their hearts pounded violently, paralyzed by fear.

Sloth sighed heavily before roaring in a deep, threatening voice:

—SHUT UP ALREADY, DAMN IT!! I'M TIRED OF ALL YOUR WHINING!

The echo of his yell resonated through the area, and the remaining villains didn't dare make a single sound.

—Let's just do this and get out of here. I want to go to sleep already —Sloth muttered wearily.

No one replied. The villains simply followed him, though with obvious discomfort. Sloth walked at a sluggish pace, dragging his feet as if every step were a monumental effort.

They walked in total silence, searching for the boy who had caused such a disaster in the area. However, the farther they went, the heavier the air seemed to grow. The atmosphere felt… strange.

Sloth, meanwhile, started to feel oddly relaxed. This quiet place was perfect for sleeping… Maybe, if he stopped for a moment, he could take a nap.

But then he noticed. The silence wasn't normal. He was alone.

He straightened slowly, squinting his eyes with visible fatigue. All his companions were gone—vanished without a sound. One by one, they had been eliminated.

It was both good and bad news. He knew who was responsible… it seemed that school really did have a prodigy in its hands.

—Well… you're good at getting rid of annoyances. I should thank you for that —he murmured in his same monotonous tone, shrugging—. But… even though it's such a pain, I was sent here to finish you off. What a drag. Well… I'm already tired of talking. Killer Shadow… find him.

he shadow broke apart into multiple dark limbs that spread through the area, searching every corner.

Meanwhile, Sloth simply let himself fall to the ground with total indifference, as if the fight had nothing to do with him. He ignored the sounds of battle that echoed in the darkness. Punches. A brief clash of forces. Then… silence.

Perfect. Now he could finally sleep in peace. But just as he was closing his eyes...

—You clearly don't like your job. Always lazy as ever… Sloth.

A voice echoed beside him. He slowly turned his head to look, not even bothering to get up, and at first, he only saw a pair of red shoes he found irritating, a sweatshirt he hated to remember… and a serious face with freckles and green ha…

His blood froze.

That appearance… He couldn't believe he was seeing it again. And besides… hadn't they said it was a woman? But it didn't matter—just one mission left, then he could rest.

—Well, you slipped away from Killer Shadow pretty well. What a bother. Well… it'll be here soon to finish you off so I can go to sleep.

A hand emerged from nowhere, ready to strike and slice that annoying boy. At least Sloth could rest quickly without having to listen to so much noi…

But then he saw it. Without even moving from his spot, the boy caught the shadow's hand effortlessly. With a simple squeeze, he tore it off and, without any struggle, jammed it into Killer Shadow's head. The shadow collapsed lifelessly to the ground. Sloth felt a horrifying chill crawl through his body—he couldn't believe it.

—I'll be brief with you. I know one of your quirks belonged to Professor Aizawa, and that's why you're terrified. Not only did your quirk fail to work, but I also killed your other quirk without any problem. But I won't explain who I am, because you already know. So… rest forever, Sloth.

A sting in the neck. Heat enveloped him. First came a warm whisper, a lullaby that invited him to sink into slumber… the darkness embraced him.

So this was eternal sleep. A gift. Eternal rest. No more worries, no more effort… Just sleep.

But then… the pain came. It was unbearable!!

Not ordinary pain. Not a sting or a passing burn. It was an unthinkable agony, as if his very flesh burned from within. Millions of red-hot needles pierced his being, tearing him apart inch by inch.

Sloth opened his eyes, but there was nothing. He tried to move. Nothing. Tried to breathe. Nothing. Tried to scream… Nothing. He couldn't move. He couldn't scream. He couldn't die!!

Horror seized his mind.

Invisible hands slid over his skin, cold as death itself. Ethereal claws dug into his flesh, burying deep into his being. And then… they began to tear him apart.

Sloth felt himself being opened, shredded layer by layer. It wasn't his body—it was something else… something deeper. Something that should never be touched.

He tried to beg, but his voice was gone. There was nothing left of him.

Wasn't death supposed to mean resting in peace?!

Something moved before him. A shadow?

It wasn't a normal silhouette. It was erratic, as if the darkness itself rejected and absorbed it at the same time. Its edges flickered, an impossible blink between existence and nothingness.

And then, he saw the mask. White. Thin. Smiling.

The hollows where eyes should have been stared at him, and though there were no pupils, he felt it saw everything. The mouthless mask stretched. At first subtle, then more… and more… until the curve became impossible, twisting into a smile far too large for any human face.

The voice came without sound, without a mouth to utter it. It wasn't a murmur; it wasn't a whisper. It was a presence—something that slid into his head without permission.

—It's good to see you, Sloth… Are you enjoying your eternal sleep?

It wasn't just a voice. It was the echo of countless souls screaming through it. It was the weight of the abyss calling him.

And then… he felt something worse than pain.

He felt oblivion.

Sloth tried to scream. Tried to cling to himself, to remember who he was, to recall his own name… But the darkness devoured him. Consumed him. Undid him…

And when the void answered, there was no one left to listen. His sin… had already been forgotten.

Narrated by Izumi:

The roar was deafening.

When Oni-chan slammed into the villain, the force of his charge tore everything in its path. The ground shook, the earth cracked, and a colossal crater scarred the center of the area. But that wasn't all.

Both bodies were flung through several buildings in the quake zone like they were made of paper. Structures collapsed, raising a cloud of dust and debris while the echo of the impact continued to ring in the air.

We students just stared in shock. We didn't know what to do. We didn't know how to react. But the villains did — and they were coming up the stairs fast.

Professor Aizawa didn't have time for hesitation. He was a professional.

—Todoroki, make an ice wall immediately! Stop them! Give us more time. —he ordered, not waiting for any reply.

Shoto raised his hand without thinking and an enormous ice wall shot up in seconds, completely blocking the stairs the villains were charging down. It halted their advance just in time.

—Momo Yaoyorozu, create a communicator tuned to young Himura's frequency, now.

Momo didn't waste a second; she produced a portable communicator and passed it quickly to Aizawa. The teacher configured it at once.

—Sir Aizawa, why are you trying to call Izuku? —Kyoka asked, her voice tight with anxiety—. Wouldn't it be better to contact the outside professors?

—They cut the communications, —Shoto replied in that cold, calculating tone I always found so irritatingly arrogant—. If the sensors had detected the invasion, they would already have sent an emergency signal. But they didn't. And if they're attacking only this facility without trying to destroy the installation where more heroes are stationed, it means someone has a quirk that nullifies alarms, maybe even radio communications. These aren't simple crooks... they planned this scenario precisely to give themselves a chance.

His words froze us. He was right. Everything had been coldly calculated: the attack on Aizawa, the chaos they wanted to sow among us, the feeling of being trapped with no escape. They didn't just want to kill us — they wanted to break us. And if there was any doubt left, the albino villain's scream confirmed it: they were here for All Might.

Then I noticed it. Every detail fit too perfectly, as if they had anticipated every possible reaction. The first bullet was aimed at Aizawa, but if he dodged it, it would have hit Number 13, incapacitating her or, worse, ruining her gear. They wanted us cornered — our mentors down and no way out. A precise blow to push us into panic.

My hands trembled. It was terrifying to realize this wasn't a simple attack but a meticulously planned execution.

—Then back to Kyoka's question, professor. If communications don't work, it's unlikely the radio can contact our classmate Himura, —Lida said seriously, struggling to stay calm and think clearly. Admirable, even if he still annoyed me.

—That's because Izuku already knew about the interference and what would happen, —Aizawa answered, leaving everyone stunned—. Don't misinterpret it: he's not an infiltrator. You can see his pure hatred when he looks at them. He just analyzed the situation faster than we did and deduced the reason. If he drew the villains' attention, it meant he predicted they would send whoever disables communications, that they'd immobilize him and then go after the villain blocking signals. And if he's as fast as I think...

He couldn't finish.

A thundering sound rocked the quake zone, followed by an explosion. We all turned just in time to see a colossal chunk of rubble, the size of a house, fly through the air and crash into the mountain section with brutality that left us speechless. The impact raised a cloud of dust and debris.

Then, as if on cue, the communicator's static was broken by the voice we all craved to hear.

—Testing, one, two, three... Can you hear me? If so, I nailed the target. Great aim, —my Oni-chan said, sounding upbeat and satisfied.

—Izuku Himura —Aizawa said sternly—. Why did you throw that rubble? I hope you have an explanation for this disobedience.

A small silence formed so Izuku could only give a tired sigh.

—Well, that's rude, professor. But let's leave my scolding for later. I'll tell you what I've gathered from the villains. First, they call themselves the League of Villains. You already noticed who their leaders are and what their goal is, so anything else is redundant. Now, the key part: I have a good and a bad news. The good is I already figured out who the villain affecting communications inside was... and I KO'd him with a giant rock. Don't worry, I didn't kill him, just knocked him out with a precise blow to the head. Nothing serious.

We exchanged looks of disbelief while he spoke as if this were perfectly normal.

—But the bad news is that villain wasn't the direct cause of the external communications blackout. He only affected signals inside the facility. The others were destroyed. We have no way to contact the outside. So, in a way, we're stranded. Bad luck.

Panic spread. No reinforcements coming meant we were on our own. We could be finished.

—Young Himura, stop the theatrics and tell us... what's your plan? —Aizawa asked, serious, surprising everyone.

—But Professor Aizawa, I'm only a student. I don't have the experience to—

—Don't try to be cute with me, —the professor cut him off with a scowl—. I already discovered who you are... did you think I wouldn't remember that rescue with superhuman speed on the Quirkless mission?

That revelation made my heart race. What mission? Oni-chan never told me about a secret job... unless it was during those three months he disappeared and came back with my hero suit. Everything clicked in my head. What other secrets did he hide?

A long silence fell. Izuku didn't answer right away. We only heard a sigh through the communicator, then a small laugh.

—I'm very impressed, Mr. Aizawa, pleased you remember. But well, I think the plan —even if you don't like it— involves everyone's participation to survive, especially the students. So I need some to attack the villains while I need Lida to go…

—Not that! —Aizawa interrupted, visibly angry—. I will not allow my students to be risked. They lack experience in these matters. Facing villains will only get them killed.

An awkward silence settled. But before anyone could say more...

—CRACK!!

A sound echoed through the area. We all turned at once to the ice wall Todoroki had made. Huge cracks were spidering across the barrier. From the other side, the villains hammered at it; each impact made it shake. It wouldn't hold much longer.

—Professor, —Oni-chan's voice broke the silence from the communicator, now more serious—. We don't have time for doubt. I know you're scared, I know this isn't what you expected when you came to U.A.... but heroism has never been just training and classes! This is reality. Real villains are attacking and we have no reinforcements. If we do nothing, they'll pick us off one by one. I don't want anyone risking their life pointlessly, but neither can we stand still waiting to be the next target. We all must get stronger to make it.

That speech pushed many to give their all. We were determined to fight; that's why we enrolled in this school… to face danger like real heroes!

—And don't worry about the strong villains because...

—BOOM!

In the quake zone, Oni-chan rocketed like a green missile. He rose into the air with insane speed and, with a swift motion, drew his black-whip rifle.

—...we have another experienced person in this class, —he finished confidently.

In a single instant, with powerful blasts from his whip rifle, he struck the center of the arena, knocking out the villains trying to enter and rendering them unconscious in seconds. Some didn't even have time to react before they fell.

Before we could react, he landed with a thunder in the slide zone, leaving more destruction in his wake.

—Tsk... —the professor clicked his tongue, understanding the inevitability—. Do what Himura says, but don't take unnecessary risks. —he ordered firmly—. Survive.

—Yes, Oni-chan! —I shouted, fired up; I really wanted to beat some villains.

—Understood, —Shoto said seriously, preparing his ice.

—DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, DEKU! I'M GONNA KILL THESE BUGS WITHOUT ANYONE'S HELP! —Bakugo roared, ready to blow everything up.

—Momo, Uraraka and the others, start creating barriers or traps to slow their advance. Protect ranged attackers.

—Understood, class delegate, —Momo replied with grave determination.

—Count on my support! —Uraraka said, determined, beginning to lift debris to build barricades.

—And Lida... I want you to go out and call for reinforcements. We can hold, but only if those two beastly monsters the villains have don't attack us. I'll handle them so they don't bother you, —Oni-chan said, his tone threatening.

—I'll take care of it! This is a job for a true law hero! —Iida declared, adjusting his glasses with resolve.

—I hope you know what you're doing, young Himura, —Professor Aizawa said, serious and ready to attack.

—Alright, Professor Aizawa, —Oni-chan answered firmly—. Then, comrades, let's show these dumb villains what it means to be U.A. students!

֎֎֎

We found ourselves in the flood zone, where Lust lounged lazily on a recliner atop a small ship. She basked in the sunlight with an expression of pure bliss, while several villains surrounded her in absolute devotion, hopelessly entranced by her attraction quirk.

Lust was tall and slender, her body sculpted as if for temptation itself. She wore a tight black latex suit that, while covering her figure, still revealed an obscene amount of skin. It was less a combat outfit and more an exotic swimsuit designed to highlight her every curve. The deep neckline and high cut of her outfit exposed her thighs generously, accentuating her sensuality with every move.

A mask covered her face, just enough to give her an air of mystery without hiding her undeniable beauty. Her crimson lips curved into a seductive smile, while long black hair cascaded in sensual waves around her, framing an aura of burning allure. Every gesture exuded a dangerous mix of elegance and desire, as if her very existence could ignite the most primitive instincts in anyone nearby.

But for all her beauty, Lust was no braggart. She didn't need to flaunt what was already obvious, unlike Pride.

A few meters away, the man displayed himself shamelessly, admiring his reflection on the water and posing with exaggerated theatricality. His face was hidden behind a knight's mask adorned with golden filigree, polished to a divine shine. The structure of the mask itself seemed made to glorify him.

His bare torso revealed a perfectly sculpted abdomen; each muscle marked with near-inhuman precision. Yet what he truly adored about himself wasn't his chest, it was his legs. He wore light armor below the waist, its plates arranged not to hide but to emphasize the toned musculature of his thighs.

Every movement was deliberate, the way he flexed his legs, the subtle tilt of his posture, everything calculated to project perfection. For him, every pose was a declaration: he was the embodiment of perfection itself.

To Lust, however, he was nothing but a narcissist, utterly uninteresting, no matter how sculpted his body was. Something the fool never seemed to understand, even after she had beaten him several times.

—Seriously, woman, I can't believe you can resist this perfect body —he declared, flexing an arm and flashing a smug grin, though the mask hid it—. If you were my slave, you'd feel pleasure beyond imagination. Besides... —he paused, licking his lips arrogantly— you'd have the honor of being protected by the most powerful being alive.

Lust narrowed her eyes and let out a lazy chuckle, amused rather than impressed. To her, Pride was just another man trapped in his illusion of grandeur. And yet, that same absurd confidence made him as predictable as he was irritating.

—Don't start your games, I know you're only the second strongest in our team —she replied dryly—. You wouldn't even last half a minute against Wrath at half power. And shouldn't you be guarding the storm zone? There could be students there, and our mission is to eliminate them. Also... where are the villains assigned to you?

Pride paused, gazing at the dome of storm clouds in the distance. Then he turned toward Lust and approached with his characteristic smug, relaxed attitude.

—I don't like working with others, especially weaklings like them. So I killed them —he said with total nonchalance and a slight laugh—. But don't worry, I'm too fast. I'll return when the only one I left alive reports the situation. He earned it. He actually appreciated me... even cut off his own hand as an offering to this glorious being. How sweet.

Lust barely paid him attention. The only thing she cared about was that the students would arrive soon. She was curious... she had always wondered how a young, excited boy might taste. Though truthfully, she was disappointed not to have been assigned to the mountain zone. There, she could've experienced what it felt like to lay with…

—BOOM!

An ear-shattering explosion tore through the air. Her thoughts stopped cold when a massive chunk of debris, the size of a house, shot out from the earthquake zone. The boulder sliced through the air like a colossal projectile before slamming violently into the mountain zone. The ground quaked, shockwaves shook the natural structure, and an explosion of dust and debris covered the area, darkening the view with a dense, suffocating cloud.

Lust stood immediately, her gaze sharp, searching for an answer. Beside her, Pride merely continued admiring himself, unbothered.

Without wasting time, she activated her communicator.

—Sloth, what's going on? What was that attack that came from your zone?

Silence answered from the other side. Nothing. Not even the sound of static, just a void that gave her a bad feeling.

—Looks like that lazy bum fell asleep while his shadow does all the work destroying everything —Pride commented with his typical tone of contempt—. That slacker always needs help from that monster. Pathetic.

Lust frowned. She knew Sloth well. Despite being hopelessly lazy, he always responded, especially after the influence she'd imposed on him after sleeping with him. This wasn't normal. Something was wrong.

Then, in the distance, a green flash streaked across the skies. Shooting rapidly out of the earthquake zone.

—What...?

It was fast, faster than any ordinary projectile. A green missile shot out from the earthquake zone, cutting through the air with lethal precision. Mid-flight, multiple shots were released around it, impacting mercilessly on the central zone, right where the two villains assigned as "leaders" were. Before they could react, the same green figure plummeted like a bullet toward the landslide zone, crashing into the ground with a force that created a deafening boom, tearing through the air.

The impact was so violent that the sound echoed throughout the entire U.S.J. facility, like a devastating thunderclap announcing the arrival of something dangerous.

—Gluttony, what the hell is going on there?! —Lust demanded, with her ear communicator.

—Pretty girl? Will you let me eat you now? —Gluttony's grotesque voice repulsed her even more than usual.

—Don't start with your games, you lump of grease. What was that green missile? Did any of your men see what it was?

—Annoying men not listen... annoying men make good snack while waiting. Bathe them in rich sweet essence.

Lust clenched her jaw in frustration. Knowing that abomination, he had devoured all the villains under his command just because he found them "sweet" or because he was bored. Still, the fact that the enemy had gotten this far meant the situation was escalating rapidly.

—Oh, look... a broccoli just appeared before me —Gluttony murmured with disgusting excitement—. I'll bathe it in sweetness and...

BOOM!

The transmission cut off abruptly.

Several minutes passed trying to contact him again, but there was no response, until... another blast rang out.

A new explosion shook the landslide zone, even more violent than the previous one. The boom was deafening, and an immense cloud of dust rose, darkening the horizon as if the earth itself were screaming in agony.

From the center of the impact, a shadow emerged at impossible speed, shooting through the devastated mountain zone, where the colossal debris still left traces of destruction. But it didn't stop. It was only there for a few seconds before launching itself without hesitation toward the fire zone, sweeping away everything in its path and expanding the chaos even further.

Lust quickly tried to contact Envy.

Only static.

For the first time, worry and desperation began to seep into her expression. Something, or someone, was eliminating her companions one by one.

And worst of all... Pride was laughing exaggeratedly. Although his mask hid his mouth, Lust knew he was sporting a smirk of superiority.

—What's wrong with you, you conceited fool? Don't you see that someone dangerous is hunting us one by one? —she snapped in frustration.

Pride, however, seemed more excited than worried.

—That's exactly why I'm happy, my pretty kitten —he responded in his haughty tone, enjoying every word—. That means they're weak, worthless pieces of shit. Very soon, only the strongest of us all will remain... Unless a pretty slave decides to join me. I could protect her without any problem.

Lust clicked her tongue in disgust. There was no point arguing with him; it was impossible to make him see beyond his own reflection.

Suddenly, a transmission interrupted the tension. It was Greed. But something was wrong. His voice sounded choppy... and terrified.

—Can you hear me?... Anyone... can you hear me? —his panting betrayed pure panic.

Lust immediately brought a finger to her communicator.

—Greed, what's going on? Who's attacking us?

—I don't know... I just know he knocked out the other villains... put them in a safe place... He destroyed all my toys!!... and... He's got the fat Gluttony as his damn horse chasing me!!

Pride let out a louder laugh, but Lust barely heard him. Her attention was on the transmission.

—Wait... I think I see him... I can't make out his head through the smoke, but... oh God... he has the... no!, wait, he saw me... This can't be!!... HOW CAN THAT BASTARD...?!!!

The signal cut off abruptly.

The silence that followed was unbearable.

Lust felt a chill run down her spine. There were no doubts. She had to get out of there. The mission no longer mattered. Only her survival.

She stood up immediately, but before she could take a single step, an iron hand grabbed her. Pride held her in place, not letting her move.

His laughter sounded louder.

—What's wrong now, kitten? Did you get scared of that weak enemy? Don't worry, I'll protect you.

Lust swallowed hard. Something was very, very wrong in that bastard's head.

She tried desperately to break free from his grip. She scratched, bit, kicked... but nothing worked. She was about to give the order to her vassals to help her when a boom shook the environment.

The sound came from the fire zone. Something had broken through the dome and was heading directly toward them.

A grotesque mass of fat emerged from the water, swimming desperately. His enormous body twisted clumsily, covered only by underwear and a mask that left his hideous deformed mouth exposed. It was Gluttony. But the most terrifying thing wasn't him... It was the figure riding him with total ease, where black whips extending from his body were buried in Gluttony's helmet and mouth, as if the monster were just another puppet in his hands.

He was short in stature. School uniform. Red boots... wait... Red boots! Lust's stomach tightened.

She turned her head abruptly to see him clearly, and as soon as her gaze met his, she felt breathless. No. It couldn't be... It was...

—Well, our little classmate has come to say hello —Pride said with a wide smile, not taking his eyes off his most hated and feared enemy.

Lust didn't hesitate for a second.

—Kill him, immediately! —she ordered all the villains.

The henchmen reacted instantly, charging at the intruder with everything they had. But none of it seemed to matter to him.

In a blink, the green figure jumped high into the air.

And then... his fist began to glow with overwhelming energy.

Lust felt an icy chill run down her spine when she heard his voice pronounce the words that would be her doom.

—Detroit Smash!

Out of nowhere, a powerful blow destroyed the entire ship, then left a huge crater that split all the water in the zone, creating impressive tsunamis that swept away everything in their path.

The blow fell with impossible force, detonating against the ship and making it explode into a thousand pieces before the debris even touched the water. The ground rumbled with a deafening boom, opening into an enormous crater while the lake split in two from the pure pressure of the impact. In seconds, walls of water rose, transforming into devastating tsunamis that swept away everything in their path. The sound of destruction covered everything, drowning out any scream. Lust was paralyzed. She couldn't breathe, couldn't think. This was impossible...

When it was all over, Lust woke up agitated, breathing with difficulty. She had swallowed too much water, and for a moment she thought she was going to drown. She sat up as best she could, panting, and looked around. The devastation was total. The giant lake had practically disappeared, leaving only damp terrain and cracks everywhere. Villains were passed out on the shore, scattered like broken dolls by the force of the impact.

She tried to get up to flee, but an enormous shadow rose in front of her. Before she could react, a grotesquely large hand grabbed her by the legs and lifted her effortlessly. It was Gluttony, emerging from the huge crater with difficulty, his body still trembling from the blow. But the worst part was that on top of his back, he was still there. The one responsible for this catastrophe. Still with several black whips embedded in his face, holding his head as if they were claws introduced into his brain, it was horrifying.

Lust felt an icy chill run down her spine. He looked at her for an instant, with a serious, cold... terrifying expression. And without further ado, he threw her aside as if she were nothing more than a nuisance. Gluttony fell to his knees, exhausted, while his rider descended slowly, placing both feet on the ground with a calmness that only made everything more terrifying.

Lust couldn't move. Couldn't speak. Fear had her completely paralyzed.

And then, a hysterical laugh broke the silence.

Pride was there. And he was laughing like a lunatic.

—I can't believe it... it's our genius classmate... Izuku Midoriya.

That name echoed in Lust's head, a shadow from the past she didn't want to remember.

—Don't you recognize us? —Pride continued, with obvious mockery in his voice—. Obviously, we'd have to take off these masks and helmets.

Without hesitating, he removed his and revealed his true face. Dark blue hair, short and straight. A sharp gaze full of superiority with a square, strong jaw. But he didn't stop there. He pulled square glasses from his pocket, put them on with an almost theatrical gesture, and flashed an arrogant smile.

—Hello, Midoriya —he said in a firm tone—. You're being greeted by the class 1-A representative... Tenya Iida.

Izuku didn't react. His gaze remained fixed on them, serious, cold, unshakable. That emptiness in his eyes made Pride frown. Something about him didn't sit right. But he forced himself to smile, continuing with his narcissistic speech.

—Well, it seems you already knew who I was... though we just met, you're very clever at observing someone's quirks. But... I don't remember you being so skilled with One for All, someone had to teach you. But who?... well, we'll leave that for later, I want to know how my classmates are. I know you're a hero, and you would never do anything to...

—PLEASE...! KEEP YOUR PROMISE! —Gluttony's desperate scream interrupted him.

The fat monster was trembling, panting, full of panic. He knelt down, his enormous body shaking like gelatin, his grotesque voice breaking into a plea.

Izuku approached slowly. He showed no emotion whatsoever. His shadow projected over Gluttony, dark, immense, crushing.

He looked at him carefully.

Then, without rushing, he lifted his foot and placed it gently on his head.

—No! NO!!! —Gluttony struggled desperately, trying to push the leg away with his chubby hands, but it was impossible—. You promised you'd get me out! I won't eat sweet things again!, but please... NO...!!

There were no more screams, no resistance, only a dry, brutal, disgusting sound. Gluttony's head sank as if it were made of clay; his mask split, his skull gave way, and flesh spilled out in an unrecognizable mass, spreading blood and viscous remains across the ground. Lust felt nauseous at the scene, but the silence that followed was even worse, so unbearable it seemed suffocating. Izuku remained motionless, without a hint of emotion on his face, as if what he had just done had no weight on his conscience whatsoever. Then, slowly, he raised his gaze toward Pride and Lust, and in that instant, she felt a chill run down her spine, as if death itself were whispering in her ear.

—Who's next? —Izuku said coldly.

For an instant, Pride stepped back by pure reflex, but he quickly recomposed himself, letting out a forced laugh.

—Truly, you're not the Izuku I know... but it doesn't matter, I'll finish you in a second.

Without wasting more time, the engines in his legs roared with deafening power, and in the blink of an eye, his figure vanished. He multiplied across the battlefield, leaving afterimages behind, moving at an impossible speed to follow.

—I'll kill you in a second! I'll show you I'm the most powerful of all! —he shouted with unbridled madness, reappearing above Izuku, spinning in the air to deliver a devastating kick.

But before he could complete his attack, his leg was caught with chilling ease.

—What...?

Pride barely had time to process what was happening. In an instant, his leg was caught with inhuman force, and in the next, his body was lifted and brutally slammed against the ground. Before he could react, a single devastating blow from Izuku tore through him from torso to head, reducing him to an unrecognizable mess of flesh and bones, leaving only his legs intact.

—Don't worry, Iida. With this version I'll correct it so he doesn't become a conceited fool... I think I'll use that method with him. But well... take them away —Izuku said coldly.

At that moment, Lust watched in horror as a dark shadow slid silently beneath her companions' corpses. The darkness wasn't normal... it seemed alive, writhing like a hungry creature. Suddenly, black hands emerged from nowhere, stretching like spectral tentacles, gripping the destroyed bodies.

Lust felt a chill run down her spine as she saw how those deformed arms dragged the remains of Gluttony and Pride toward a bottomless abyss, devouring them in the blackness. There was no noise, not even the sound of flesh being torn... Only the absolute silence of condemnation.

She tried to move, to react, but her body wouldn't respond. Fear paralyzed her. And then, she felt Izuku's gaze on her. She understood there was no escape. She only had one way out of there... negotiate.

—Izuku-kun, you know who I am —she said, removing her mask to show her face better—. I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, your sexy classmate. If you let me out of this, I'll gladly...

Lust felt an unbearable cold run through her body. A sharp pain in her chest left her breathless, but she couldn't see what he had done to her. Her eyes could only focus on Izuku, who leaned toward her, his voice resonating in her ear like a death whisper.

—This is for betraying my friend.

Before she could react, something warm and viscous was delivered into her trembling hand. With the last vestiges of life, she looked down and saw it...

Her own heart, still beating weakly in her palm.

She understood too late what had happened. Her betrayal, her games, everything she had done... no longer mattered. Darkness enveloped her and, with one last choked breath, she vanished into the abyss.
