Chapter 108 - Chapter 109: Watching Banner's Worldview Crumble

Thanks to regular exercise and Hulk's recent transformation, Bruce Banner quickly made the faint green glow disappear.

"Why would you want to be friends with that… green monster?"

Calmed down, Bruce Banner still found Michael's choice hard to believe.

As a top Scientist with seven Dr. degrees, Bruce Banner simply couldn't believe what kind of worldview would lead someone to be friends with a brainless green monster that only knew how to rage and smash things. Yes, at this stage, Bruce Banner not only wasn't ready to accept this fact but also regarded Hulk's existence as a disease, constantly trying his best to eradicate it!

"Why not?"

Michael asked with a smile, "Why must you treat him as a disease? Haven't you tried to master him? You know, you are originally one. If you merge, you can not only possess your intelligence but also powerful strength. Wouldn't that be killing two birds with one stone?"

Michael, of course, knew that Bruce Banner wouldn't do this, or rather, the current Bruce Banner wouldn't do this, which is why he said it to him. If it were a few years later, after experiencing more things, and then saying this to Bruce Banner, the result would naturally be different.

Sure enough, "No! I will absolutely not merge with that monster! That is a monster! I must eliminate it!"

Forcibly suppressing the urge for his body to rage again, Bruce Banner, however, adamantly affirmed his idea!

Unfortunately, Michael was preparing to separate Bruce Banner and Hulk. Otherwise, in a few years, Bruce Banner would definitely say: "It's really good!"

"Alright, since you're not planning to merge, have you ever thought about separating?"

Michael was not surprised by Bruce Banner's reaction and continued to ask.

"Separate?"

"How to separate?"

Bruce Banner was a bit confused. He had truly never thought about this question. The key was, how to separate? Split himself in half? Bang!

"Of course, by magic!"

Snapping his fingers, Michael raised an eyebrow and said.

Then, Bruce Banner immediately saw that with a surge of prisms, the 'ruins' where they had just been disappeared. In an instant, a suburban green space appeared before his eyes, with surrounding trees, grass, and streams. It was truly… a perfect camping spot, if not for the two fresh-smelling ravines.

"As you can see, this is the real World now. Just now, we were merely in the Mirror Dimension. There, no matter how much destruction occurs, it will not cause any harm to reality."

"Oh, you're talking about those two ravines on the ground? Those were made before I became friends with Hulk."

"To be honest, Hulk isn't actually bad. It's just that you've always wanted to kill him, which forced him into his current state, causing him to rampage and destroy every time he comes out, then placing all the blame on you."

Seeing Bruce Banner's dumbfounded expression, Michael found it truly interesting. Opportunities to see such a scene were rare, no, it might even be the only time! Once Bruce Banner accepted the system of magic, it would be impossible to see him so astonished again.

Suddenly, Michael looked up into the distance, a golden light flashing in his eyes.

"Intelligence agencies are already here to investigate so quickly… these hyenas are really annoying!"

Michael frowned and said to Bruce Banner, who had come back to his senses but was still a bit dazed, "Let's leave here first. I imagine you don't want to appear before those intelligence organizations."

"Of course, those intelligence organizations have always wanted to capture me for research. Those guys are not good people at all!"

Upon hearing the phrase "intelligence organizations," Bruce Banner immediately sobered up. Compared to General Ross's pursuit, those intelligence organizations that wanted to capture the Green Monster were even more annoying. Bruce Banner had experienced this firsthand!

"Then let's go!"

Michael extended his hand and conjured a colorless halo in mid-air that occasionally flickered with a light blue glow. He stepped into it, leaving Bruce Banner with a bewildered expression.

"What are you waiting for? For the intelligence organizations to come and catch you?"

He walked to the old lounge chair in the Space Station and lay down, ready to sunbathe and recharge. He then turned around and realized that Bruce Banner was still outside.

"Oh, oh, I'm coming!"

Stirred once more by the phrase "intelligence organizations," Bruce Banner no longer cared about safety. He steeled himself and directly entered the halo.

Subsequently, the halo rapidly shrank, annihilated, and vanished as if it had never existed. Not long after, a large group of intelligence personnel, wary of each other, arrived at the scene.

"Find a place to sit. There's food and drinks in the refrigerator; help yourself."

"Wait for me a moment… White, open the solar panels and adjust them to a temperature standard that ordinary people can tolerate!"

Although most of the energy consumed during the battle with Hulk was physical, the subsequent use of space magic still expended some energy. While Michael was not obsessive-compulsive, since he had come to the Venus Base, it was only natural to fully replenish his energy so as not to have come in vain.

"Okay, sir, the solar panels are open, and the light focus is adjusted to two percent."

As White's voice fell, a beam of light immediately shone in. But in the eyes of Bruce Banner, an ordinary Earthling, this light was incredibly bright!

"Welcome to the Venus Space Station, Mr. Bruce Banner!"

Just as Bruce Banner raised his hand to block the dazzling light, White also broadcasted a welcome message to him.

"An artificial intelligence? Like Tony Stark's?"

Bruce Banner was certain he had quickly scanned the room when he entered and seen no one else. This was an instinct he had developed over a long time.

"Wait…!"

"You said, where is this?"

Bruce Banner suddenly stiffened, as if he had thought of something terrifying, not even noticing that his voice had cracked.

Michael, however, lying on the lounge chair and recharging, curled his lips and chuckled.

[Damn, there was another earthquake just now. The computer screen is shaking… May no one be injured in the earthquake zone. Boundless Blessings, Heavenly Venerate!]
