Chapter 2 - The Other Characters in the Book

Yu-jin and So-hyeon weren't the only women in Tae-hyun's life. Three others were present, never central, never written as key players in his story. Yet, they lingered on the edges, women who could still twist the direction of everything.

Their nude, sweat-slicked bodies burned into his memory, displayed for him to see, to consume. Vital roles, whether he wanted them or not.

If Tae-hyun were some notorious author, they would have been written into the opening chapters. If he were a poet, they would have closed the final stanza.

Lee Si-eun, one of these few women, was like elegance wrapped in filth. A pristine and petite surface hiding the mind of a whore. She lived for her own words, her dirtiest thoughts shown in the online poems she often wrote.

Tae-hyun remembered the piece of paper she had shoved in his face, filled with raw, obscene lines.

"Read it, let me know your thoughts, young man," she would say.

Though Tae-hyun brushed it off, choosing not to dwell. She was cute enough—short blonde hair, baby-blue eyes, a floral tattoo curling along her neck.

But now—today—he knew better. Si-eun wasn't just cute. She wasn't innocent. She was something far darker than she ever pretended to be.

Kim Hye-rin was quiet, but very intelligent and tactical in the things she did. She was a businesswoman who took her work and shared glances with Tae-hyun when she passed by him very seriously.

Sometimes he would wonder what she found in him, but he didn't mind. At least he could take a little peek at her huge breasts and ass when she stood in front of him.

Nam Ha-yeon was your typical redhead who often had her arms folded, covering her huge chest, which she wasn't too proud of. She was quite hot-headed and caught pouting during arguments.

Tae-hyun awoke into consciousness, his body clothed with only his underwear clinging to his well-chiselled form. The real world around him was a messed-up blur, his vision distorted and rearranging, and the mystery of what happened still bothered him.

He remembered the red faces of every woman who lay with him during the nightmarish sessions of rough blowjobs, ball grabbing and creampies. But the ones he could remember more were Kang So-hyeon and Seo Yu-jin, who never held back when it came to absorbing every drop of his essence.

While he tried his best to gather every fragment of reasoning he had left, the sounds of metal clanging together echoed from the kitchen, interrupting his thoughts.

Tae-hyun jolted from his bed, shaken by this.

Who could that be?

As his thoughts rearranged fully, he carefully stepped down from the bed, the feeling of something cold and wet on the surface of where he once lay. Tae-hyun hoped it was just his ears playing tricks on him, but the sound didn't sound like some hallucination.

Cautiously making his way towards the kitchen, he moved slowly. Arriving at the location of metallic spoons and utensils, he was faced with someone familiar.

Standing before him in the kitchen, her back facing his direction, with nothing but an apron on, revealing her thick and nude form to him, was Seo Yu-jin, his co-worker and the one responsible for the tingling sensation on his beef stick.

Right in front of her, placed on the stove, was a metal pot vibrating from the excess heat of the flame. The young woman turned to face him, a flirtatious smile etched on her face, her full, perfectly shaped melons dancing rhythmically.

"Oh, hey, handsome, you're up late," she said in a nasty tone.

Shocked by the sight before him, Tae-hyun tried his best to produce words, but they only came in little breaks and pauses.

"Yu-jin? Wh-what are you doing here?' Tae-hyun asked, his expression mixed with shock and anger.

"Relax now, sweetheart," said Yu-jin, facing the pot. "Look, I made something for both of us. I heard you liked rice"

Angered by Yu-jin's ignorance, Tae-hyun balled his fist, trying to scream. "How-" he stuttered, his sentence cut short by a painful sensation in his head, almost like a migraine.

Tae-hyun groaned, his fingers on his temple and his eyes closed shut as he tried to suppress the pain.

Yu-jin jerked back, her face filled with fear and confusion, but with a touch of concern for the young man, "Oh no, darling, are you okay?" she asked in a caring tone, walking up to Tae-hyun who was forced down to the floor, she helped the young man and helped him to the chair close to the kitchen counter.

Tae-hyun finally sat down, the aching getting worse with each second, and just the mere sight of Yu-jin trying to act like everything was normal angered him, but he had to be calm and stay composed, at least focus on his condition.

Making her way to the kitchen cabinet, she took out a glass cup before turning to the tap where she had taken water and tried to help Tae-hyun drink.

Without any hesitation, Tae-hyun held Yu-jin close. He intended to drink the water in her hand, but from the woman's perspective, he was trying to get some action, feeling his hand grasping her ass.

She loved how his fingers dug into every juicy fold. Finally chugging every drop of water from the cup, leaving it empty, Tae-hyun was relieved, releasing the woman from his grasp.

Seeing that the pain had ceased, Yu-jin breathed a sigh of relief, being more satisfied than Tae-hyun, who was the victim of what looked like a bad hangover.

Now that the storm had settled, Yu-jin turned to the pot of fresh boiling seaweed and rice that had been boiling only for a soft ding to echo from the clock in the kitchen, "Oh, just in time," she said before making her way to the stove.

After a few seconds, the young woman returned with two plates of pasta, placing them on the counter, shifting the bigger plate to Tae-hyun.

"Here, have this. You should feel better once you've eaten something," she said.

Tae-hyun glanced at Seo Yu-jin with a look of suspicion and rage, his eyes squinted. Though the food looked convincing, even from the aroma, he still had his doubts.

He was right to be suspicious, though.

No normal person would accept food from a stranger, especially a crazy one who showed up naked in his kitchen.

Yu-jin glanced at Tae-hyun and back at the plate of hot food, her green eyes going back and forth. She had even glanced at her pierced nipples showing through the apron, which she wasn't planning to cover.

"What?" she asked. "It's not poisoned now, is it? I can't taste it if you want"

Tae-hyun ignored the question, angered by Yu-jin's oblivious demeanour, "Don't try to fuck with me," he countered, "Tell me how you ended up in my room, or leave before I call the cops on you"

"What are you talking about, hon?" Yu-jin asked, trying to act confused by Tae-hyun's rage.

Tae-hyun pointed a finger at Yu-jin, "Stop trying to act smart!" he shouted, "Just get out of my room already"

Yu-jin sighed, dropping the confused facade, rolling her emerald eyes back. "You've forgotten, haven't you?"

Tae-hyun was taken aback by this, confused as to what the young woman said. "What are you talking about?" he asked, his brows knitted as he was overwhelmed by what the young woman said, "What do you mean, I have forgotten?"

"No need to ask any questions," Yu-jin replied. "Besides, you were the main star of the show that the other girls and I put up"

Director? What was this crazy woman saying?

This left Tae-hyun thinking, but he needed answers to his question.

"You haven't answered my question yet," said Tae-hyun, pressing further, "What did I forget?!"

Yu-jin sighed, and she began. Each word the young woman spoke was like a display, showing him what had happened.

As Yu-jin's lips parted, Tae-hyun could make out the truth of what had happened last night to lead to his current situation.

——

He remembered—it was blurry, hazy—but he could still see clear glimpses. Crickets screaming into the night, the city alive and buzzing, a place thick with crime, cruellest of all against women.

That night, Tae-hyun had come back from work, forced home early by Mr. Nam Woo-jin. Normally, he was chained to his cubicle, drowning in paperwork, sneaking stolen glances at Yu-jin—the woman he couldn't tear from his mind.

Now he stood at his door, his warm hand gripping the cold metal handle. From next door, he could hear faint music—Yu-jin's room. His brow furrowed.

Strange. She'd told him she was tired. She'd said she needed rest.

So why the music? Why the lie?

He sighed heavily, wanting to shove it all aside. Fishing out the keys in his pocket as he pressed them into the lock—

Then a click and creak.

The door beside him exploded open. Tae-hyun's head snapped toward it. His eyes widened. Yu-jin was there.

She stood there, half-naked, only her undergarments clinging to her, and he could see the piercings through them. Her body trembled violently, covered in sweat, staggering as she clutched the doorframe for balance. Her skin shivered, her chest heaved—rising, falling—breath tearing out of her in ragged gasps.
