chaptet 4
"Vincenzo, cover me!" a boy shouted from ahead.
Another voice cut in, "I don't think he'll be able to. He's been hit! Shit, damn," the voice continued. "Even though this is a test, this is dangerous! This fucking school!"
Ding!
"Group D lost, and that finishes the test for today. Get back to your classes for further evaluation," a speaker blared from behind them.
"Vincenzo, what was that out there? You didn't even move, you bastard!"
"Ehm, are you talking to me? I'm Vicious, not Vincenzo."
"Ohh, trying to escape, I see. Don't worry, I won't let you be. During combat class, I'll teach you a lesson," the boy said and left with the rest of the students—one boy and one girl.
What did that bastard do now? But why were they calling me Vincenzo? I need to find a mirror.
"Hey, Vincenzo! I heard you failed," a voice called from the corridor.
Entering the class was a tall girl with bright red hair.
"Ohh, yeah, I did. I was hit by one of the monsters but managed to escape. But I still lost. Ahh, don't worry," she said, seeing him touch his stomach. "This isn't the main test, and you'll be fine before the main event."
"Anyways, what is my name?" Vincenzo asked.
"Vincenzo," she replied.
"No, I mean like... full name."
"Ehm, are you playing, Vincenzo?" she asked.
"Yeah, just to confirm something," he said.
"Sure, okay. It's Alexander Rutherford Vincenzo."
"Wait, I'm part of the Alexander family? Wait, which year is this?" he asked.
"AH 500," she said.
Wait, but it was AR 999. A dizzying realization hit him. That means 500 years have passed since the fight with the Demon Lord!
