Chapter 115 - Five Kage Summit

On the conference table, a stack of documents lay before everyone.

Opening them, the first page contained information about Satoshi, the Fifth Hokage of Konoha.

Over the years, Satoshi had become increasingly famous in the Ninja World.

Previously, the Fourth Kazekage Rasa led the village's elite into the Land of Rain, but not a single person who could breathe returned. This was enough to show how terrifying those rogue ninjas were.

What was even more terrifying was that they were later killed by two ninjas from Konoha.

The three of them had a rough idea of Jiraiya's capabilities. This meant that the Uchiha played a very important role in this operation.

Terrifying, truly terrifying...

In the past, they all thought Satoshi was just an ordinary genius. Now it seemed he was a genius among geniuses.

Was there anyone else in the entire Ninja World who could deal with him?

More importantly, Konoha said that he inherited the will of Tobirama. But they just couldn't believe it.

Ōnoki thought of a very terrifying possibility.

"What if that Uchiha brat didn't inherit Tobirama's will, but rather Madara's ambition..."

A was a little confused. He had only heard of Madara's name, but had never seen him fight.

"The legendary Madara? Is he very strong?"

Ōnoki slowly nodded. "He can no longer be described as merely strong."

Ōnoki's original intention was to advise them that they must unite now to have any chance of competing with Konoha. He didn't expect that the brute A wouldn't pay any mind at all.

A waved his hand. "I think you're getting old. Madara died countless years ago. If that brat was really that strong, he would have sent us a challenge a long time ago."

Ōnoki looked at him with an expression of looking at an idiot.

He trained so much, was his brain filled with muscles, leading to peculiar brain circuits?

Ōnoki was too lazy to bother with this muscle man and turned to discuss with Ebizo.

Ōnoki floated up. "Let's go, Ebizo, I'll take you around our village and introduce you to our village culture."

"Alright, thank you, Ohnoki."

"Don't mention it."

A was stunned for a few seconds before suddenly reacting. These two old geezers weren't including him.

...

Ebizo suggested, "Ōnoki, I think we can hold a Five Kage Summit to test Konoha's attitude."

The two of them walked slowly, one after another, through the streets of Iwagakure.

"Five Kage Summit?" Ōnoki stroked his white beard. "That's not a bad idea."

Ōnoki had experienced many things and gained a lot of valuable experience. As soon as he heard this idea, he felt it was feasible.

"First, go communicate with that brute A, let him be our mouthpiece at the meeting, and also put on a show, pretending our relationship isn't very good."

"Then... first this, then that..."

"Alright, we'll do as you say."

Konoha soon received an invitation to attend the Five Kage Summit.

Jiraiya, the head of the intelligence department, handed the letter to Satoshi, who, after reading it, said, "Please, Jiraiya, tell them I will definitely attend on time."

"Okay." Jiraiya nodded. "Should I bring some bodyguards?"

Satoshi shook his head. "No need, if a fight breaks out, I'll have to protect them."

"Cough, cough..."

A week later, the Land of Iron, perennially covered in ice and snow.

It was famous for its iron ore and was it's largest supplier in the Ninja World.

Many weapons commonly used by ninjas were manufactured here, including the Murasame in Satoshi's hand, which came from the best blacksmiths here.

The leader, Mifune, came forward. "Hokage-sama, the order has been received, and we will expedite production."

Over the years, Konoha had maintained a very close relationship with the Land of Iron, frequently purchasing large quantities of ninja tools from here and they were very willing to pay.

The Land of Iron also purchased large quantities of supplies from the Land of Fire, and through this give and take, their relationship grew much closer.

"No problem. Have the Kage arrived?"

"They're all here. Please follow me."

In the conference room, the representatives from the villages had already arrived. They looked at each other, their eyes filled with wariness.

Yagura was the first to speak, "I wonder why Ōnoki proposed this Five Kage Summit. There must be something important to discuss, so please speak frankly."

Ōnoki said, "It's nothing major, I just have an idea. If we hadn't been fighting individually, Akatsuki wouldn't have taken so long to resolve."

"I propose forming a Five-village Alliance to jointly maintain the long-term peace and prosperity of the Ninja World."

"Of course, it would be best for one village to lead, as this would reduce a lot of trouble."

Satoshi scratched his head, understanding. The little old man wanted to be the leader and absorb Konoha.

Sunagakure and Kumogakure expressed support for this proposal.

Yagura, however, looked at Konoha, his meaning very clear.

Whatever big brother tells me to do, I'll do.

Seeing no one objected, Ōnoki continued, "I will volunteer. I will..."

"This is hard work, let Konoha handle it instead."

As Satoshi finished speaking, a deafening roar exploded like a clap of thunder.

"Konoha to lead? Hokage, aren't you thinking a bit too highly of yourself?"

Without waiting for Satoshi's response, A, like a lit powder keg, began to harshly list the origins of the Akatsuki members.

"Obito, a Konoha rogue ninja. Orochimaru, a Konoha rogue ninja. Deidara, an Iwagakure rogue ninja. Kisame, a Kirigakure rogue ninja... Aside from Kumogakure, which is untainted by the mud, which of your villages present here hasn't supplied talent to Akatsuki?"

At these words, the Kage's expressions darkened considerably.

The appearance of rogue ninja in a village was never a glorious matter. Now that the rogue ninjas were dealt with, the matter should have been over.

But now A insisted on bringing it up again, wasn't this a slap in their faces?

A once again aimed the conflict at Konoha. "Moreover, the most dangerous guy in Akatsuki is also from Konoha."

Satoshi scratched his head. "So?"

"So, if an alliance must be formed, it should be led by the strongest and most upright Kumogakure."

Halfway through his speech, Satoshi couldn't hold back anymore.

What 'upright'? Which of these villages hadn't done something shady?

Back then, Kumogakure had tried to abduct Kushina of the Uzumaki clan, just to uncover the secrets of the Jinchuriki.

Fortunately, Minato stopped them, and incidentally had a moonlit embrace with the beauty.

Later, they tried to abduct Hinata, the young lady of the Hyuga clan's main family.

The abducter was killed by the clan head Hiashi, but these jerks turned around and bit them. In the end, it was only by sacrificing Neji's father, Hizashi, that the matter was resolved.

As for rogue ninjas, weren't the Gold and Silver Brothers from their village?

None of them were good people, yet they were putting on an act.

Satoshi felt that Kumogakure was actually quite greedy.

Many in the Ninja World believed that Kumogakure consisted of people who were outwardly wild but actually very principled. In reality, this was not the case at all.

Satoshi looked at A. "Is everyone in Kumogakure as shameless as you?"

The brute A instantly went berserk, a powerful surge of Chakra erupting from his body.

"Bastard, what are you saying!"

A immediately entered his Lightning Release Chakra Mode, his entire body flickering with electricity. He rushed towards Satoshi like a blue lightning bolt.

Liger Bomb!
