Chapter 59 - A Kiss

Arthur proceeded to teach Nephis how to skin the birds, plucking out their feathers and washing them properly. Then he taught her how to cook and measure the required ingredients needed so the food wouldn't turn out too salty or spicy.

Teaching her was particularly exciting, and watching her clumsy movements as she tried to learn everything he showed her, albeit with some awkwardness, brought a smile to his face.

They were soon done, and Arthur served the meal in more than five bowls, noting that the little fox was probably going to eat a lot.

"Little guy," Arthur cooed gently as he rubbed the head of the little fox who was sleeping.

The little fox groggily opened its eyes, then sniffed lightly.

Upon sensing a strange, soothing fragrance in the air, its eyes lit up as it immediately jumped from Arthur's shoulders, its tails swinging around.

Arthur chuckled as he watched the little guy pounce onto a bowl and begin devouring the meal.
