Chapter 30 - chapter 30 : Tasting Jin-ah

The kitchen was filled with the rich, savory aroma of dinner sizzling on the stove. Jin-ah stood at the counter, completely focused on stirring the sauce, a stray lock of hair falling perfectly across her cheek.

Jinwoo leaned against the doorway for a moment, watching her every movement. A soft, affectionate smile tugged at the corners of his lips. He walked up silently behind her, moving with a quiet, deliberate grace, and slipped his arms securely around her thin waist.

He pulled her back flush against his chest, resting his chin on her shoulder.

"Something smells incredible," Jinwoo murmured, his voice low and a little raspy right next to her ear. "But I'm pretty sure it's not what's in the pan."

Jin-ah let out a soft laugh, leaning into his warmth even as she kept the wooden spoon moving. "Oppa, I'm trying to cook. You're going to make me burn dinner."

"Let it burn," he teased, pressing a gentle, lingering kiss to the sensitive skin just below her jawline. His hands splayed flat against her stomach, holding her close. "I can think of way better things to do than eat right now anyway. You look entirely too gorgeous standing in kitchen."

"Flatterer," she shot back, though a telltale flush crept up her neck. "If you're so hungry, grab a plate. Otherwise, you're on chopping duty."

Jinwoo chuckled, a deep rumble against her back. He didn't let go, instead tightening his embrace , swaying them slowly from side to side.

"Mmm, no. I think I'll just stay right here," he whispered playfully, burying his face in her neck. "You're the only appetizer I need."

With a swift, smooth motion, Jinwoo reached past her and clicked the burner off. Before she could even protest , he gently took the wooden spoon from her hand and set it on the counter.

In the next second, he swept her off her feet, one arm firmly under her knees and the other supporting her back. She let out a breathless, surprised laugh, instinctively wrapping her arms around his neck as he carried her effortlessly out of the kitchen.

"oppa! The food!" she gasped, though the wide smile on her face completely betrayed her.

"It can wait," he murmured, his gaze darkening with unmistakable affection and desire as he looked down at her. "Right now, I have other priorities."

He carried to living room, their lips meeting in a deep, passionate kiss before he even nudged the bedroom door open.

Soon the sound of high moans and bed creaking can be heard.

Ah.... Ah.. Oh!

Oppaa!

Slow down.....

Ah... Ahhhh.

Pak... Pak.... Pak...

Two Hours Later

The kitchen was exactly as they had left it, though significantly quieter and much colder.

Jinwoo walked back in, wearing a pair of loose sweatpants and running a hand through his delightfully messy hair. He had a completely satisfied, relaxed grin on his face. Jin-ah followed close behind him, swathed in one of his oversized t-shirts that slipped off one shoulder, her cheeks still carrying a warm, rosy flush.

He walked over to the stove, inspecting the pan with a playful, critical eye.

"Well, it didn't burn," Jinwoo declared proudly, clicking the burner back on to reheat their meal. "See? I told you it would be fine."

Ju-Hee rolled her eyes, stepping up behind him this time. Reversing their earlier roles, she wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her cheek against his broad, muscular back.

"You're lucky you're so charming," she teased, giving him a gentle squeeze. "Otherwise, I'd make you order takeout as an apology."

Jinwoo chuckled, a warm sound that vibrated against her cheek, and covered her small hands with his own.
