[ POV: Gojo ]
I blinked—or at least tried to. The world around me was too dark to make a difference. But somehow, I could still see my body. Untouched by the darkness.
Strange. Is this the afterlife? I thought it would be something better. But in the end, it's just another prison meant to shackle me again.
Just pure black, except for my body.
Heh.
But on the bright side, it could be worse than this.
Like being tortured for all of eternity.
Eh, I guess this already counts as that.
"Still better than my life though." I laughed, thinking back to it all.
The time I spent imprisoned by people who wanted to use me, yet feared me—knowing that at any moment I could be their end.
"..." But I wonder, If I had just killed them faster to protect my students, would any of this still happen? Those bastards. All they wanted was just power, yet they didn't even know how to wield it. The very same thing they desired was their weakness. They crave power but are scared of it. The fucking irony.
Well, not like I'm any better either way. They call me the Strongest, but I couldn't even protect them all...
But I wonder how my students are doing...
I hope they're fine. They've probably saved Megumi by now. They always find a way, even without me they always do.
They're probably bonding together right now, maybe reminiscing about the old time. Maybe even laughing at me or grieving at my death.
Heh. As long as the new generations are doing fine. I'll be happy regardless.
I just wish I could see that future. I just wished.

But something doesn't sit right with me.
If this the end of all souls, the afterlife, then what about Cursed Spirits—or those who came back to life? How do they perceive death?
Did they experience this void too? Or just blink back to existence?
No...
It doesn't feel like it, they act normal afterward. So either they forget this place, or never stay long enough to remember.
Or they're mentally capable of being alone for long periods of time.
Heh... I guess the Strong do act alike.
I laughed as I theorized and made ideas within my head. For a moment I didn't even know If I was still thinking, or If the void itself was thinking for me.
[ POV: Narrator ]
Gojo kept thinking. Making theories—ideas, everything about the afterlife seemed amusing.
What seemed like a prison for others was just another thing for Gojo to study, even if it might be the very last thing he studies.
Some might call him insane, perhaps he is, but even the Strongest have limits.
But for Gojo it didn't matter. He didn't fear the loneliness that surrounded him. For he only wanted one thing at the moment.
To rest.
For the strongest has fulfilled his purpose.
Or so he thought.
[ System Initializing...]
A sudden voice echoed through the darkness of the empty abyss, taking Gojo's focus.
A glowing message appeared right beside him.
"Huh? System?" He stared at the message, baffled.
[ To Continue, Please Spin The Wheel Of Worlds ]
Another message appeared right below it.
[ Spin ]
"Ha...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Gojo laughed hard. "I JUST DIED AND NOW I'M IN A COSMIC GACHA GAME? HWAHAHAHAHAHAHA" After a while, he stopped laughing, shaking his head, remembering the countless times he let his students handle weak cursed spirits while he was merely playing sussy gacha games on his phone.
And without a moment of hesitation, he tapped the screen with a wide grin.
Then, the message disappeared. The void shook, then, a Circular Wheel dropped out nowhere, radiating blue lights from the edges as it spun rapidly.
"Well.. Let's see where the Strongest gets sent, aye?" He chuckled.
[ DING! ]
The wheel stopped spinning as it landed on a name.
[ World: Solo Leveling — Duration: 2 Weeks ]
"Solo Leveling? Interesting.." He muttered underneath his breath despite having absolutely no idea what Solo Leveling was. "Well. Let's get started!" He chuckled as he raised his voice.
The abyss flashed white for a second. Then, gravity disappeared.
"Huh?" Gojo levitated for a brief moment—then was pulled downwards, falling through the void that was shaking at its very core.
[ POV: Gojo ]
The void around me was starting to crack, a bright blue light seeping through like a shattered glass letting water pour through.
Instinctively, I reached out for the light. But no, the world pulled me in deeper as the suction grew stronger.
Then the darkness disappeared. Light entered my vision, momentarily blinding me as my eyes burned. My Six Eyes suddenly activated, giving my brain a surge of information to which I activated RCT at a low level to refresh my brain every so often.
"This place reeks of Cursed Energy." I muttered as I continued to freefall. Then, finally, I saw once again.
The bright blue sky.
The crack above me started to seal itself as I looked below me.
Then I saw it. A place I was way familiar with.
"Korea? Seoul?" I laughed just before impact.
The ground shattered into countless pieces, flying all over as I lay on the ground, unaffected due to my Infinity. "Tis ain't even a scratch" I muttered under my breath.
Cars screeched to a halt all around me. Countless people froze, staring at me. I mean, who wouldn't after seeing someone fall from the sky half-naked?
