~In the morning~
Dorie woke up to the sound of the alarm and opened the curtains to embrace the warm rays of the sun. She then turned to her phone.
"Is it me or did someone call me in my sleep?"
She picked up the phone and looked at the recent calls
"So I wasn't dreaming? If I can recall well that dude threatened me...wait did he?...I can't quite remember but who cares"
Dorie just took a shower and left for her best friend's place.
~at the best friend's place~
Dorie was outside the door banging but she didn't get an answer.
"Levi! "
A male voice behind her answered."
"Yoh!"
"where were you?"
"just down the street on a walk. why"
"I just wanted to see you and discuss an important issue"
"Sure. (opening the door) After you!"
The two sat on a sofa and Dorie told him of the call. At first Levi responded with a smirk and looked at her and said
"I knew it was only a matter of time before such cases began popping up in your life"
"And what's that supposed to mean"
"It was so obvious that you would receive uncountable enemies after being declared the heir"
"you're right but still..."
"but still what"
"can't they just give me a break?''
"I suggest we go to the police station and let them investigate the source of this call and in doing so maybe we can warn those who were trying to do the same."
"you're right"
The two left for the police station.
~At the police station~
Dorie approached the desk next to the police.
"I'd like to request for an investigation on a threatening call"
"sure if you could just sign here (handing her some documents)"
"and when I'm I expecting the results"
"as soon as we find out the culprit"
"okay then"
"would you try explaining the voice of the caller?"
"it was a male voice and it was really deep and sexy"
"anything else?"
"that's all I remember"
"thankyou and you can trust that we shall find the culprit"
"sure"
The two then left the station and when they were outside Levi called for a taxi on which Dorie boarded and before she left he said to her
"Stay safe for me...please"
"of course I will ,you always worry about me so much"
"its only natural for me you mean a lot..."
"I appreciate your concern but I know how to take care of myself"
"its not about how much you know how to take care about yourself anymore can't you see that your life is in danger?"
"I told you to stop worrying about me too much! Its going to get you in problems"
"Then at least call me when you're in trouble"
"fine then make sure you receive my call"
Dorie left and Levi was left roaming around. Dorie was left thinking to herself.
"How did I end up with someone like Levi he clearly deserves better people in his life and yet he's here wanting to give away his life to someone like me (scoffs)I'd rather suffer in silence than let him know but to say the truth...I'm really terrified about going back to my house but I can't keep on bugging Levi with my problems its time I stood up for myself"
