"What's that?... Adam asked while trying to get a better look at the scroll
"Apparently it's a skill supposed to make me control blood..
Kael replied while wishing to learn the scroll in his hand and as if by magic, his brain seemed to receive a flood of information as a strange red rune appeared in his mind
Kael felt the blood inside his body circulating, he could even hear the blood in Adam's body rushing rapidly showing how agitated he was. At the same time he instinctively felt that he could affect the movement of both his and Adam's blood.

The door to the classroom they were received a loud bang from outside and he had to put away all distracting thoughts
The banging continued and the grunts coming from the other side of the door made it clear that there was more than one zombie behind the door, and seeing how hard the door was being hit and how the hinges were about to give way at any moment, he knew they didn't have much time to stand around
"Adam get those ropes behind the shelves… Kael said while trying not to panic, Adam moved hurriedly and brought the ropes over.

The wooden door finally couldn't withstand the constant pressure and burst open. Immediately after the door was broken down, two students who had turned into zombies staggered in. Their blood stained faces looked horrifying. Kael could even see some bite marks with several bits of flesh falling off

Before Kael could respond to him, two more zombies staggered into the classroom while growling in their direction.
Due to Adam dropping the rope the small trap was no longer reusable and therefore useless.
However Kael didn't panic and quickly concentrated while trying to connect with his skill. With a thought, he mobilized the mana within his body according to the instructions of the skill, blood manipulation.
After spending fifteen mana points, Kael connected with the blood of the two zombies killed by him earlier, and just as the new zombies passed by the corpses of their kind, two arrows of crimson red shot out at full speed towards the back of the zombies head
The now solid blood arrows were extremely sharp after being controlled by Kael and easily pierced the head of the two zombies, crushing the brain and killing the two creatures easily.

He turned towards Adam " We have to get out of here and find somewhere safe".. Adam, stunned by what he saw, couldn't react "Adam!" Kael shouted, snapping his mind back in place. " YYYess we can head towards the cafeteria… Adam stammered still shook by the situation
The classroom was on the fifth floor. It was impossible for them to climb out through the window. With no other option they had no choice but to head out through the door to leave the building
"Let's hurry… they both dashed out of the classroom
Just after they left a black portal with white lightning flashing on its edge appeared in the middle of the classroom
"What a strong aura of divinity coming from an unranked mortal".... A heavenly beauty capable of provoking wars between kingdoms stepped out of the portal. Her pale white skin contained no imperfections and seemed to glow in the light, contrasting with her raven black hair that fell like a waterfall to the bottom of her back. Her eyes were crimson red like two beautiful rubies. A black war armor hugged her seductive curves, clinging to her body tightly, exposing only her slender arms and two long slender legs that could make even a sage drool. If Kael and Adam had been here they probably would have their focus one the six feathered wings flapping magnificently behind her.
"Interesting, to think I'd find a trace of divinity in this newly awakened planet, in a mortal no less"....she mused to herself
"Better keep watch on that mortal.. she said as she vanished from the classroom her presence nothing more that a prelude to difficult times ahead
