Chapter 11 - 11

With his superhuman physique, strength, and speed, why would he need these strange abilities? That would be looking down on Aaron too much!

Aaron subconsciously glanced at his fingers. When would he get a 'Kato Eagle Hand'? Wouldn't that be a perfect match?

Damn it, what the hell am I thinking!

Crack!

Aaron slammed his palm on the table, shattering it, which startled Norman, who was waiting outside, causing him to knock on the door.

"Boss?"

"It's nothing!"

Aaron glanced around, then left without a second thought.

Norman and Felicia watched the empty room through the door crack, wanting to speak but ultimately deciding not to ask anything.

Norman looked at Aaron. He didn't know why, but he always felt that his boss had grown stronger.

His gaze was sharper, as if he could see through people's hearts.

Norman had nothing to hide, but he still couldn't help but lower his head.

"Boss, the items you tasked me with will be at least half-collected within the next month."

"Some of the items currently have no information at all, and might take some time."

Aaron nodded at the words, saying, "It's fine, you've done very well."

Norman's face lit up with joy, but then he felt something was off. He had only just transitioned from boss to subordinate, and he was already getting into the role so quickly?

After a moment of thought, Norman tentatively asked, "Then, boss, our group also has some genetically modified organisms. Would you like to take a look?"

"For example, our latest research achievement: thirteen super spiders developed by synthesizing new genomes from ribonucleic acid and combining them with the genes of three types of spiders..."

Aaron's steps paused. "There's such a thing?"

He suddenly found keywords in his mind, searching for similar terms in the historically preserved folders, and then matching them one by one.

His expression was strange. "Are you sure it's not fifteen?"

Norman was startled. He glanced at Felicia and said in surprise, "Boss, you know our next project is fifteen? The thirteen super spiders we developed this time all have some flaws, more or less, and don't meet the initial concept. So the relevant person in charge decided to change some genes and create fifteen super spiders..."

Aaron raised a hand to interrupt. "Take me there!"

Good heavens, is Spider-Man about to be born?

Thinking of this, Aaron asked again, "Do you know Professor Connors and Doctor Otto?"

Norman nodded. "Professor Connors is a renowned biology expert. We once had a pleasant collaboration with him, although the experiment failed..."

"Doctor Otto is a famous nuclear physicist, but recently he has a 'miniature sun' project that sounds very ambitious. If it succeeds, he will stand shoulder to shoulder with Stark."

Aaron noticed that Norman seemed a bit embarrassed when he mentioned Connors, somewhat dismissive when he mentioned Otto, but couldn't hide the helplessness in his tone when he mentioned Tony Stark.

Clearly, Norman felt very urgent, even discouraged, by Tony Stark's success.

After all, the Osborn Corporation and Stark Industries once stood shoulder to shoulder, both considered the two shining jewels of the United States.

But now, Stark was far ahead, even showing signs of leaving everyone else in the dust.

And the Osborn Corporation, under his leadership, was gradually declining.

Aaron didn't care about Norman's feelings.

He didn't care what the Osborn Corporation was like in the past.

But after he took over, the Osborn Corporation was bound to become a super corporation!

What about Stark Industries?

His attention was now focused on Professor Connors and Doctor Otto.

One was the Lizard serum, the other was the miniature sun project... He thought for a moment, what would the Primordial Furnace give him if it refined a miniature sun or an Arc Reactor?

Hiss, there's potential!

Chapter 15: Electronic Microscopic Eye, Astronomical Telescope Eye!

"Boss, are you interested in Professor Connors' and Doctor Otto's experiments?"

Norman vaguely guessed something.

He still remembered that when Aaron was painting a grand vision for him, he mentioned beauty potions, anti-aging potions, limb regeneration potions, and anti-cancer potions.

Any one of these potions, if released, would undoubtedly drive the whole world crazy!

No woman could refuse to keep her youth forever, no rich person could refuse the desire for longevity brought by anti-aging potions, and no disabled person could ignore the new life brought by limb regeneration potions.

Of course, no cancer patient wouldn't want a dose of anti-cancer medication... These four groups are all about money!

They represent a market worth hundreds of billions, even trillions.

Once the Osborn Corporation releases them, surpassing Stark Industries will be no problem at all!

Your energy industry has great potential, but our biomedical industry is not bad either!

Humans have an immense longing for the stars, but they are even more eager for longevity and health!

People might not go on space voyages, but they absolutely cannot refuse the temptation of eternal life.

This is human selfishness!

Moreover, although Tony Stark made significant breakthroughs in energy, he did not release the Iron Man suit or the reactor technology.

Although he reversed the decline caused by closing the weapons department and even saw a sharp increase, he was greatly limited.

Leaving aside other things, it's estimated that once the healing potions are developed, the Osborn Corporation will be able to compete with Stark Industries again.

Aaron didn't deny this statement. "Felicia, arrange appointments with Professor Connors and Doctor Otto according to my schedule. Tell them that the new chairman and CEO of Osborn Corporation is very interested in their research."

Felicia nodded, recording the arrangements. Throughout the process, she focused on her secretarial duties, listening when appropriate, keeping quiet when necessary, and never saying an extra word.

However, the empty schedule made Felicia grumble inwardly, thinking that Aaron's schedule didn't seem busy at all.

In contrast, Norman Osborn's schedule, which she secretly glanced at, was already booked until early morning for the next week... Seeing Norman Osborn's appearance, working tirelessly for Aaron as if he would die for him, Felicia felt a strange sensation.

Norman, as the former chairman, had lost all his shares and served as CEO in Aaron's stead. Yet, he earned less money, and his tasks were even more demanding than before, constantly on the go.

But Norman was not only not depressed, he was energetic and worked himself to the bone.

Truly a born workhorse!

Norman also said, "In that case, I'll have my secretary contact Felicia's secretary later. She can provide some assistance."

As he spoke,

Aaron followed Norman to the Osborn Corporation's biological research department.

Led by a group of scientists in white coats, Aaron saw the so-called thirteen super spiders.

"Boss, this spider is a funnel-web spider from the family Agelenidae. It can weave funnel-shaped webs as strong as steel cables, and it's an important direction for our research..."

"If the corporation can mimic and develop this super-strong spider silk and apply it in the textile industry, construction industry, aviation industry, shipbuilding industry... then we will gain considerable profits!"

The white-coated scientist enthusiastically introduced the spiders to Aaron, seemingly eager to showcase his abilities to the new and old bosses to secure more research funding.

Aaron didn't listen to those words; he just glanced at the summary report.

The web of this spider surpassed all original spider silks in every aspect.

It also possessed a stronger sensory ability.

Aaron had tested before that refining a similar but more powerful species could also enhance his abilities in that area to a certain extent.

This characteristic could be cumulatively enhanced.

In other words,

His refining ability had no upper limit; the only limit was these creatures.

The abilities he gained, to some extent, also depended on the strength of the corresponding functional characteristics of the refined object.

He already possessed a spider sense, but it was relatively ordinary.

Some Spider-Man's sensory abilities were comparable to prophecy and more practical.

As he looked, Aaron then turned his gaze to the electronic microscope beside him.

This thing... it seems, can also be refined?

Optical microscopes, electronic microscopes, as well as telescopes, astronomical telescopes, etc... Furthermore, he could even refine certain special metals, Vibranium, Uru metal, Adamantium alloy... Aaron fell into deep thought,

He had already tried to overestimate his development capabilities as much as possible, but now he realized that he was still far from fully developing the functions of the Primordial Furnace!

Just by thinking casually, he discovered so much potential.

When the characteristics of all these things are concentrated in one person... the thought alone was hair-raising!

Perhaps calling it omniscient and omnipotent was not accurate enough, but it could barely be considered a weakened version of omnipotence?

Seeing Aaron deep in thought,

Norman interrupted the chattering white-coated researcher. Everyone held their breath, waiting for Aaron's instructions.

Soon, Aaron snapped back to reality, scanning his surroundings with fervent eyes.

"Felicia, have the finance and procurement departments cooperate, increase the budget, and allow our diligent researchers to further develop new species."

"As for these things..."

Aaron waved his hand. "Take them all!"

The research director showed joy. An increased budget meant increased salaries!

They could also realize their ambitions!

It was just thirteen spiders; he didn't care about them.

"Did you all hear that? Pack up all these spiders and take them away!"

"Stop, what I mean is, including these electronic microscopes and other scientific research instruments, take them all!"

"Ah?!"

No, if you take them all, how are we supposed to conduct research?

Is this an order for us to pack up and leave?

"Does our corporation only have this one research lab?"

Aaron looked at Norman, who snapped out of his daze. "Of course not. You all immediately go to the lab next door to continue with the follow-up project. Pack everything here and take it away!"

Everyone was dumbfounded.

This... what kind of situation is this?!

Norman wasn't sure either, but he only knew that whatever Aaron said, he would do.

Even though these instruments cost hundreds of millions of US dollars, he still gritted his teeth and packed them up with tears in his eyes.

He was thinking about who to approach for investment recently.

It seemed he would have to arrange some more appointments... Chapter 16: Fighting Instructor Adeline, Toot Toot, Novice Driver!

Packing up a biological laboratory was clearly not that easy.

Aaron first picked a few small items, had someone carry the spider breeding box, and went directly to the underground garage.

Accompanied by Norman and Felicia, he placed the items in the trunk and got into what was originally Norman's private Rolls-Royce.
