Chapter 48 - 48

As for the Lord of the Crystal Palace pantheon? He was too ignorant to know!

But… to be on par with the Celestials, he must be quite extraordinary, right?

Thor nodded upon hearing this and politely said, "It is the Lord of the Crystal Palace pantheon. I greet you on behalf of Asgard!"

Aaron wanted to laugh, but he forced it back. "You are the God of Thunder, and I am also the God of Thunder. Why don't we have a try?"

Aaron opened his right hand, and violent lightning gathered into a ball, occasionally cracking with electric light and emitting crackling sounds.

Thor watched with trepidation, instinctively wanting to unleash his power. "Hey, where's my lightning?"

Thor looked up in confusion at the lightning ball in Aaron's palm. "Why does that thing feel so familiar?"

He was deep in thought, as if he had seen it before…

Chapter 56: In the Name of the King of Gods, Who is the True God of Thunder!

Thor shook his head. It was probably because of the lightning; it was normal for it to look familiar.

However,

"For certain reasons, I cannot currently use my divine power. I need to retrieve my weapon, a hammer that fell from the sky. Do you know where it is?"

"Once I get my hammer back, I'll have a proper match with you!"

Feeling an unprecedented weakness in his body, Thor chuckled sheepishly.

Looking at the lightning in the other party's hand, he felt very guilty and a little scared… Is it normal for the God of Thunder to be afraid of thunder?

"You want to find your hammer? Then you've come to the right person. Follow me."

Aaron withdrew his God of Thunder power and motioned for the other party to follow.

Thor was overjoyed at the news and quickly followed.

"I'm telling you, today was supposed to be my day of glory. Right at my coronation as the God-King, a group of terrible Frost Giants used a loophole to enter the Asgardian Treasury and ruined my ceremony."

"Then I led the army and taught them a good lesson, letting them know the might of Asgard."

"Oh~"

Looking at Thor's "I'm so amazing" expression, if Aaron hadn't known that Thor and his companions were surrounded and almost killed, someone else might actually have believed him.

He nodded, "Then how did you come down?"

Thor's smiling face, which had been bragging, slightly stiffened. "That's a very good question!"

"In fact, this is a trial! Yes, a trial!"

"The final trial before becoming king!"

Thor didn't mention his embarrassing moment but racked his brain to come up with a reasonable explanation.

In a way, this was indeed a trial. According to the normal process, once Thor picked up the hammer, he could continue to be king.

But sometimes, you never know whether accident or surprise will come first.

"Perhaps I can tell you about my hammer, Mjolnir. It's the best hammer in the world!"

Aaron and Thor talked as they brushed past Erik.

After greeting Darcy and Jane, Aaron told the driver to keep driving.

"Cool! Are those your women? They look great! But they seem to be ordinary people. Maybe I can introduce you to some Asgardian women. Trust me, they're absolutely amazing!"

Thor was acting very familiar.

As a frequent guest at banquets, Thor was not completely ignorant.

He had always been the center of attention at various parties, enjoying the flattery of nobles, and drinking for days on end.

He was deeply loved by those noblewomen and young ladies.

"Humans cannot withstand the blessings of a god!"

Thor said with a serious face, completely unaware that Jane and Darcy behind him had somewhat displeased expressions.

"Where did this crazy person come from!"

"I think he's from Arkham; only there could produce such a talent."

Darcy whispered.

"Don't just stand there, let's follow them."

Erik was in a hurry. He had a premonition that the topic he had been studying for many years might soon yield an answer.

Provided that the man just now wasn't crazy.

It shouldn't be, right? Aaron wasn't an ordinary person. Someone who could catch his attention wouldn't be a fool, would they?

"My Mjolnir was forged by the greatest dwarven blacksmith in the Nine Realms, King Eitri, using the core energy of a dying star. It's indestructible, highly intelligent, and can fly at high speeds!"

"As long as I hold it, I will be invincible!"

"Of course, besides my father and me, no one else can lift it. You know, it's a sacred artifact with an owner."

Thor winked at Aaron, praising his hammer endlessly.

"Sounds like the 'Meow Meow Hammer' is pretty good? I'll try it sometime." Aaron looked forward to it.

"It's not the 'Meow Meow Hammer,' it's Mjolnir!" Thor corrected him.

"You can try it later, but even if you use all your strength, you'll never make it obey, because it belongs only to me!"

Thor chuckled, immensely proud.

Mjolnir was his greatest love, and he was its greatest love.

He believed that the two of them, one person and one hammer, would always be together.

Mjolnir would never abandon him.

At least not before he got the little axe.

"Boss, we're surrounded ahead. They look like trouble."

The driver said, looking at the construction site surrounded by "Military Area, No Entry" signs.

"Aren't you a god on Earth? Do they dare defy your orders?" Thor asked, puzzled.

"I declared myself one."

Aaron got out of the car first. "Give me your phone."

The driver was confused but still handed over his phone. "Let me unlock it first."

"No need."

With a thought, Aaron analyzed the fingerprints and key presses on the phone and furiously calculated in his brain. In just a few seconds, he found the correct password.

"Maybe you should change your password."

Aaron said, then left with a bewildered Thor.

"You're not a god?" Thor's expression was a little off.

"Why don't you try first?"

Aaron smiled kindly, and a sudden clap of thunder echoed from the clear sky, making Thor instinctively flinch.

"I'm just kidding."

Thor said with a forced smile.

Regardless of whether others acknowledged it, he was now convinced that Aaron was a god.

Even at his peak, he didn't have Aaron's ability to easily summon thunder.

He could only control thunder better when holding Mjolnir.

Honestly, at that moment, Thor felt that Aaron's control over thunder was stronger than his own, the Asgardian God of Thunder.

How envious! The God of Thunder should be like this!

Why couldn't he do it?

"Stop! There's been a dangerous incident here; no outsiders are allowed!"

Aaron and Thor had just arrived at the entrance when they were stopped by two burly men in black suits.

"Get Coulson out here!"

Aaron didn't even look at them, saying coldly.

The two hesitated. If it were anyone else, they would have directly "escorted" the person away. No one dared to be so arrogant in front of SHIELD.

But they clearly recognized Aaron's identity.

A voice came through their earpieces, and they immediately stepped aside. "Please!"

Thor muttered from the side, "You're still too friendly. In Asgard, no one ever dares to stop me. If there really were such a blind person, it would be a hammer to the face!"

These words made the two men nearby twitch. They really wanted to give Thor two hammers first!

"It's Mr. Aaron from the Osborn Group. I didn't expect a big shot like you to come to a small place like ours… for a visit?"

Coulson still wore his friendly smile and came forward to greet them.

"Your esteemed presence truly brightens our humble abode!"

"Coulson, has anyone ever told you that your polite speech sounds very awkward?"

Before Coulson could answer, Aaron said directly, "Alright, no more nonsense. I want that hammer!"

Coulson, who was about to speak, swallowed his words and immediately objected, "I'm sorry, I can't make that decision. That hammer now belongs to SHIELD…"

"Hey, buddy, when did it become your hammer?"

"Damn it, I'm going to duel you all!"

"Let you arrogant and rude Midgardians know the wrath of the God of Thunder!"

Upon hearing this, how could Thor, with his fiery temper, tolerate it? He rolled up his sleeves, ready to fight.

Even though he had lost his divine power, he might not be able to face a God of Thunder like Aaron, but dealing with two or three ordinary Midgardians was not much pressure.

Coulson glanced at Thor, his thoughts shifting, but his smile remained unchanged.

"Mr. Aaron's friend… Is there something wrong here?"

He pointed to his head.

Thor glared angrily. "You're the one with something wrong in your head! I want to have a glorious warrior's duel with you!"

"Whether it's a one-on-one or a group fight, you decide!"

"Are you sure?"

Coulson's smile remained, but a dozen burly men stepped out beside him.

The people walking nearby also took a step forward simultaneously.

The men were muscular and cold-faced, and the women also looked fierce.

In the distance, snipers were aiming in this direction.

Highest up, a figure hidden in the darkness drew a bow and aimed an arrow at Thor.

But no one dared to aim at Aaron.

Thor looked around, weighed the pros and cons, and then looked at Aaron.

"Buddy, we're both Gods of Thunder. You'll help me, right?"

Aaron's expression turned cold. "Coulson, if you can't make a decision, then let someone who can make a decision come over!"

"Our director, he…"

Coulson still tried to play dumb.

Aaron made a phone call right in front of him.

"Your call."
