Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew

Chapter 11: Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew

With her considerable cultivation, Bibi Dong's speed on the road was far from ordinary. The journey of several thousand li from Spirit City to Heaven Dou City took her barely a day or two.

By dusk, using Bibi Dong's body, Qi Tian had already arrived at the Spirit Hall branch outside Heaven Dou City to rest for the night.

However, there was no time left to visit the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well today—because tonight, Qi Tian's consciousness would return to his own body twenty years later.

"Bibi Dong, tomorrow you should buy some antidotes and detoxifying materials," Qi Tian reminded her. "Things like golden iron, jade essence—anything that resists poison."

"Antidotes?" Bibi Dong blinked curiously. "The place you're going… is it that poisonous?"

Qi Tian nodded.

The Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well was shrouded in the deadly miasma of intertwined ice and fire toxins—a place few could survive for long. Even the old poison master Dugu Bo dared not stay there too long, much less the current Bibi Dong.

"Alright, I'll listen to you," Bibi Dong replied without hesitation.

In truth, she wasn't overly concerned. After all, her Death Spider Emperor martial soul was a venomous beast itself—ordinary poisons couldn't harm her.

After a full day's travel, Qi Tian had attendants bring hot water. He bathed, changed clothes, and began cultivating as usual.

Months had passed since their connection began, and Bibi Dong had long since grown numb to such things. Though she still felt a trace of shyness, she chose to ignore the fact that Qi Tian used her body to bathe and change—allowing him quite a feast for the eyes.

At dawn, Qi Tian, still inhabiting Bibi Dong's body, led the two Soul Douluo escorts—She Long and Ci Xue—toward the Sunset Forest.

On the way, Qi Tian instructed,

"Elders, once we enter the forest, don't stay too close to me. Otherwise, it won't count as real tempering."

"Yes, Young Miss," both answered respectfully without objection.

Their mission was twofold—to protect Bibi Dong's safety and to report her condition to Qian Xunji.

As long as her requests weren't excessive, they would follow her will without question.

Qi Tian secretly exhaled in relief.

He absolutely didn't want those two following him into the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well—not when so many priceless immortal herbs grew there.

Thankfully, the escorts weren't Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan. If he came, with his knowledge of rare plants, he'd instantly recognize those immortal herbs and bring unnecessary trouble.

After giving final instructions, Qi Tian checked the map and, following Bibi Dong's memories, hastened toward the forest's heart.

Along the way, he encountered a few soul beasts but didn't bother fighting—speed was his priority. Within half a day, he finally reached his destination.

Before him towered steep mountains—natural barriers enclosing the treasure land in poisonous mists. Ordinary soul masters couldn't even approach.

"This is the place?" Bibi Dong asked.

Qi Tian nodded and sent a voice transmission to the two Soul Douluo waiting below.

"Elders, I intend to use the poison miasma here to temper myself for a few days. Stay below the mountain and guard the perimeter."

Though they likely couldn't recognize immortal herbs, Qi Tian still didn't want them to see anything.

Once She Long and Ci Xue agreed, Qi Tian immediately activated Martial Soul Possession. Spider legs burst from his back as he deftly scaled the sheer cliff walls.

When the terrain grew too steep, he used the Spider Web Restraint, flinging webs to pull himself upward with practiced ease.

Watching such familiarity, even Bibi Dong couldn't bring herself to scold him anymore.

Before long, Qi Tian slipped into the hidden valley that cradled the legendary Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

At this time, Dugu Bo had yet to discover the place, and no poison array had been laid. Yet the toxic miasma of ice and fire had accumulated over countless years—suffocatingly deadly, with barely any signs of life.

Ordinary beasts and plants couldn't survive here; only Spirit Herbs and immortal grasses thrived amid the dual extreme energies.

By the laws of nature alone, even without Dugu Bo's later cultivation efforts, this valley already brimmed with rare spiritual herbs.

"Wait… all of these are spirit herbs?" Bibi Dong exclaimed, astonishment flashing through her eyes. "You're planning to use them to strengthen my spiritual power?"

Qi Tian nodded slightly. "That's right."

After taking an antidote pill, Qi Tian began exploring the valley in search of the legendary herbs.

Before long, his gaze fell upon a plant so ordinary-looking that it was easy to overlook.

Its stalk and leaves were emerald green, but what drew attention were the three snow-white leaves at its center. Tiny crystal droplets rested upon them—glimmering like morning dew under the faint light.

If Qi Tian hadn't already memorized the herb's appearance from his knowledge of the future, he might have dismissed it as just another common spirit plant.

He carefully picked the herb, and the moment he did, Bibi Dong's voice echoed in his mind.

"This herb doesn't seem all that special," she said curiously.

Qi Tian chuckled softly.

"Don't underestimate it. This is the Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew. Once consumed, it allows one's eyes to see through illusions and perceive the essence of all things."

He paused, then added with a smile, "Alright, maybe that's a bit exaggerated, but its real effect is indeed remarkable—it strengthens both spiritual power and perception."

"So powerful?" Bibi Dong's tone was skeptical.

Qi Tian didn't bother to explain further. He tilted his head back and gently shook the herb, letting the dew collected on its leaves fall into his mouth.

The moment the clear droplets entered his throat, the entire plant withered in his hand—its vitality completely drained.

Bibi Dong's eyes widened slightly. Only then did she truly believe this was no ordinary herb.

'Hopefully, this will enhance not only Bibi Dong's spiritual strength but also mine,' Qi Tian thought silently.

Continuing deeper into the valley, Qi Tian soon discovered another immortal herb.

It was a large flower of pale pink hue, its stalk nearly a meter long with no leaves at all. The blossom itself was broad, nearly the size of a small plate, each petal glimmering like flawless crystal. At its center, the stamen shimmered in a faint violet glow—resembling a cluster of tiny amethysts.

"This one…" Qi Tian murmured, his expression serious.

"It's the Aromatic Silk Beauty, the nemesis of all poisons. It doesn't neutralize toxins directly, but it can suppress and resist them completely."

Even though he had already taken the antidote medicine, Qi Tian still felt it was better to be cautious. He sat down beside the Aromatic Silk Beauty, letting its natural aura shield him from the Ice and Fire toxins lingering in the air.

Cross-legged, he began refining the medicinal essence of the Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew.

Almost instantly, Qi Tian felt a surge of clarity fill his mind. A warm current flowed through his spiritual sea, cleansing his thoughts, sharpening his perception.

Bibi Dong, sharing his consciousness, felt it even more vividly.

To her, it was as if her soul was being bathed in a hot spring—warm, weightless, and impossibly comfortable.

Half a day later, Qi Tian slowly opened his eyes.

For a brief instant, a golden gleam flashed across his pupils—piercing and radiant. Everything before him appeared sharper, more defined than ever before.

"So this is the Fire-Eyes Golden Vision…" he murmured.

He could now perceive every detail around him. His eyesight and memory had both improved immensely; a single glance was enough for him to record every contour of the valley in perfect clarity.

"I wonder… even without cultivating the Purple Demon Eye, could I now see through the disguises of infant-stage transformed soul beasts?"

That was one of the legendary effects of this ability—to pierce illusions and discern disguised soul beasts at a glance.

"If I can carry this ability back with me… maybe I could test it on Xiao Wu," Qi Tian thought with a faint grin.

At that moment, Bibi Dong stirred, awakening from the blissful warmth of the herb's effects.

She instantly sensed the change in her vision—the world felt clearer, sharper. More importantly, her mental strength had clearly grown stronger.

This time, there was no doubt left in her heart.

She finally believed that Qi Tian truly came from the future.

Otherwise, how could he possibly know about this hidden valley? How could he recognize these mystical herbs and know their exact uses?

"Are there any other spirit herbs here that could help me?" she asked eagerly. The excitement in her tone betrayed her growing addiction to these miraculous discoveries.

Qi Tian smiled wryly.

"Immortal herbs like these can only be taken once in a lifetime. Taking another would bring no benefit—it could even harm you instead."

"What a pity…" Bibi Dong sighed in genuine regret.

Qi Tian shook his head slightly. "Not necessarily. There are two more herbs here that might be suitable for you. But whether you can take them safely… depends on whether you dare to try."
