Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Sunbathing Again

At ten o'clock in the morning, Henry walked out of Helen Cho's apartment building, dressed in a fresh casual outfit.

The bright California sun shone on him, radiating an aura of contentment. He looked up at the window of Helen Cho's apartment, then smiled faintly. Ignoring whether anyone was around, he slightly bent his knees.

BANG!!

Accompanied by the sound of a sonic boom. The next second, he was gone, shooting vertically into the clouds like a cannonball. With every day of sunbathing, his bio-force field was getting stronger.

Theoretically, there shouldn't have been a sonic boom, but Henry deliberately didn't suppress it. Don't ask; the answer is it's cool!

In the blue sky, Henry soared freely like a bird that had broken free of all constraints. He spread his arms wide, thoroughly enjoying the cold, pure air rushing past his face at high altitude.

The city below began to shrink and fade into the distance. This feeling of having the whole world under his feet brought him a deep, inner freedom.

He thought about his next steps. What should he do now? Go back to the Malibu home filled with high-tech gadgets and bikini-clad beauties?

Yesterday, Jarvis told him that Wakanda had rejected his request for a meeting. But he wasn't planning to go himself right now; it was better to let Tony run that errand.

"Why go back?" he thought, a scornful curve on his lips.

"Go back and listen to that idiot Tony nitpick my design blueprints and criticize my genius concepts with his outdated mechanical engineering theories? Or watch him excitedly test his new Captain America's Butt body in the lab like a child with a new toy, and then boast to me for hours?"

Just thinking about the scene made his head ache.

"Too boring."

He pouted. Although academic debates with Tony were interesting, he had more important things to do now. He slowly hovered at high altitude, closing his eyes and feeling the sun on his skin. It was warm and comfortable, like a faint, warm current of energy slowly seeping into his body. But he wasn't satisfied.

Yes, his idea was to sunbathe. Instead of worrying about trivial matters, it was better to sunbathe and solve everything at once when he returned.

"This feels like drinking sugar-free Coke or eating fat-free cheese," he critiqued.

"The taste is okay, but something's missing. The sunlight on Earth, filtered through this layer of atmosphere, is like a nutrient solution diluted a hundred times. It's too weak."

He needed more energy. He looked up at the cosmos, which seemed within reach. A familiar thought surfaced in his mind.

"Perhaps I should change where I sunbathe."

The moment the thought appeared, it refused to leave.

Yes, he was a humanoid walking solar charger powered by the sun. It was better to charge directly from the source. The energy there was 100% natural, unpolluted, and free. He had been there once, and the effect was excellent.

"Hey, Jarvis," he said lazily to the air.

"Always, Sir." Jarvis's gentle voice came through the micro-earpiece.

"Inform Tony and the others that I'm going out for a while, heading to space for a sunbath to charge my battery. Tell him not to turn my lab into his walk-in closet while I'm gone, and not to sneak any food from my fridge, or when I get back, I'll shove him into that Cradle of Life and let him experience what a real secondary growth is like."

"Understood, Sir." Jarvis responded meticulously.

"Oh, and one more thing,"

Henry suddenly remembered something and added. He paused and continued, "Tell him to use his Iron Man charm when he has a moment and try to negotiate a business deal to buy some Vibranium. After all, he's a world-famous hero now, so he should be good at using his status. If he can't manage it or is too busy partying, I'll go myself after I finish sunbathing. Remind him not to mess it up; I don't want to have to do things wearing Armor made of frying pan material."

"Yes, Sir, I will relay your exact words to Mr. Tony." Jarvis's voice sounded as calm as ever.

"Also," Jarvis continued, "Shall I monitor your physical data changes while you absorb high-intensity solar radiation?"

"Remember to record the data in detail. I want to see how much more I can lift after sunbathing in space for a while."

With that, he didn't hesitate. His entire body transformed into a black streak of light, speeding towards the vast cosmos!

The feeling of breaking through the atmosphere was strange. It was like a high-speed sports car suddenly breaking through a thin layer of water. One moment, the air was filled with the whistling sound of air being torn apart. The next, the entire world was suddenly enveloped in absolute silence.

Henry's speed slowly decreased. He glided silently into the vast ocean of the cosmos, like a submarine leaving its harbor. He turned around, looking at the massive, magnificent planet beneath his feet, radiating a soft blue light.

"I have to say, Jarvis," he murmured to the empty universe.

"This view is more sensual than any Victoria's Secret Angel I've ever seen."

"Sir, according to the aesthetic database analysis, the scene before you has indeed achieved the highest score in both the magnificence and breathtaking categories," Jarvis's gentle voice sounded clearly through the micro-communicator in his ear in the silence.

"However, I personally find 'sensual' to be an inappropriate term to describe a planet."

"Oh? Is that so?" Henry raised an eyebrow.

"Then what word would you use? Majestic? Solemn? Come on, you old electronic device just doesn't understand art. Look at the curves of the clouds, the arc of the ocean, the contours of the continents... Tsk tsk, this is the most perfect figure of the Mother of the Universe. It exudes powerful vitality and maternal radiance."

As he spoke, he spread his arms and slowly drifted towards the blue planet. He could feel his invisible bio-force field perfectly isolating him from the extreme cold and vacuum of space. He could even breathe and speak freely in this airless environment.

"It feels good," he nodded contentedly.

"It seems I'm not a counterfeit Superman."

He found a spot not too far from Earth, where he could perfectly enjoy the direct sunlight, and stopped. Then, he slowly closed his eyes. He immersed his body and mind in the golden light.
