Henry's voice echoed in the silent hearing hall.
Hydra.
The Winter Soldier.
Every word was like a bombshell, instantly exploding the whole world through the lens.
The murder of Howard Stark.
These shocking secrets that have been buried in the shadows of history are now laid bare before everyone.
The hall fell silent.
The senators, who had been shouting just moments before, now stood like ducks being strangled, their mouths hanging open, their faces pale, unable to utter a single word. The reporters, forgetting to press their shutters, simply held their cameras in a daze.
Even Nick Fury, in the back row, whose usually impassive face was once again filled with shock.
"uh-huh."
A light cough broke the silence.
Tony, who had been like an outsider from beginning to end, finally recovered from his initial shock.
He had been standing next to Henry. He was the closest participant in what had just happened. He was shocked by the behaviour of his brother, his countryman. He took a deep breath. What could he do? He could only say, Well done!
"I have to say, your way of appearing is really imaginative." Tony curled his lips.
Glancing at Henry, Tony deliberately teased him.
"However, before you go on your personal speech declaring war on the world, shouldn't you first say hello to me, your nominally living brother? And by the way, explain where you got this expensive-looking set of props from, which is like a copycat?"
As just said, of course, he recognized that this suit of Armor was the one he made after he and Banner worked day and night to study vibranium and nanotechnology.
But he didn't expect that this bastard would use this method to debut his new toy.
"Copycat?"
Henry raised his eyebrows when he heard this. He looked down at the perfect armor on his body and then responded without any hesitation.
"Oh, come on, Tony. You call that a copy? I call it an upgrade. I just made some minimal changes to your impractical designs."
"By the way." He paused and looked at Tony with disgust.
"While you were being fooled around like a headless chicken by these monkeys in suits, I took some time to go back home and took your semi-finished product out of your lab. I think you should say thank you, after all, I saved you a lot of money that would have been wasted on testing."
"A semi-finished product?! You call this ground-breaking work of art a semi-finished product?!" Tony felt his dignity as a genius was seriously challenged.
"Besides, do you call that borrowing?! That's stealing! You damn bastard!"
"Okay, okay." Henry waved his hand, interrupting the long speech he was about to start.
"Can we talk about something serious first? For example, have you ever thought about how we are going to get out of this cage that looks heavily guarded and has cameras everywhere?" Henry then followed suit and joked.
Tony was stunned for a moment, then he reacted.
He glanced around at the guards and agents who had recovered from their shock and were staring intently at them, then curled his lips.
"Go out? Why go out?" He spread his hands as if it were a matter of course.
"I, Tony Stark, can go wherever I want. Do I need to leave?"
The next second, the seemingly ordinary silver bracelet on his wrist instantly disintegrated and turned into countless golden-red nanoparticles.
He said, snapping his fingers.
Those particles spread upwards, covered, and reorganized rapidly as if they had life!
In less than two seconds, a set of steel Armor with muscular beauty and a sense of technology completely wrapped him!
"Let's take a look."
Tony's voice came through the speakers of the armor, with a metallic reverberation.
"This is what art is. You, the tin can guy who wrapped yourself up like a secret agent, don't understand the aesthetics of life."
Henry shook his head helplessly, then looked at the guards.
"Well, since you insist on using it this way..."
"Then let's get started."
But to everyone's surprise, the guards looked at each other.
They can only say, You think too highly of us!
This damn guy's eyes are glowing red. Does anyone think we're going to get in?!
Just a few hundred bucks a month, what's the point of playing with that?
But the next second, a redneck guard suddenly yelled!
"Superman! Tell me, do you bleed?!"
Then, he fired the first shot in front of everyone's stunned eyes!
Everyone held their breath.
Henry tilted his head, and his eyes narrowed slightly.
The next moment, he felt as if everything around him had come to a standstill.
Time is slowing down, the expressions of the people around are slowing down, and the bullets in the air are as slow as a snail.
He had no intention of dodging, but shook his head, his eyes shining red.
A dazzling beam of light shot out instantly!
The guard turned into ashes before he could even scream.
The bullet hit his armor, making a dull sound.
The scene fell silent again, and no one dared to vent their anger.
They were already shocked beyond words.
"Jarvis." Henry's voice sounded in the communication channel, calm and clear.
Tony was slightly surprised, but ultimately said nothing.
"Drive the car to the door. Also, clear a path. I don't want to see any blind creatures blocking our way."
"Yes, Mr. Henry."
As soon as he finished speaking, the oppressive black armor on Henry's body shrank back silently.
The black particles slid smoothly across his body, eventually converging into a low-key and luxurious black watch that was worn on his wrist, revealing the black suit underneath.
The visual impact of this scene is no less than the violent appearance just now.
Everyone present was stunned again. They finally understood that this was not a set of armor worn on the body, but some kind of high-tech creation. The golden and red armor on Tony's body was also retracted in the same way and turned back into the silver bracelet.
He adjusted his collar, then turned and smiled at the petrified Senator Stern and the others.
"Well, gentlemen."
He opened his arms like an actor who had just finished his curtain call.
"I think our friendly exchange today ends here. If you have any questions about Hydra, I suggest you ask your colleagues, or the bald gentleman in the back row who likes to wear an eyepatch. Maybe he can give you some surprises."
He then ignored the politicians whose faces turned from blue to white and then from white to purple, and walked straight towards Pepper, Happy, and Natasha in the back row. Henry followed behind him, pausing slightly as he passed Nick Fury and glanced sideways at him.
This look was a warning, and it also made the battle-hardened king of agents frown.
What on earth does he want to do?!
Doesn't he know what this means?!
Under the fearful gazes of the guards and agents present, Stark and his five companions walked out of the main entrance of the hall as if no one was around. No one dared to stop them, not even to make a sound.
Today, everyone will remember one thing!
This Superman is not Clark Kent!
