The haze that shrouded Tony's heart seemed to have dissipated most of it without him noticing.
He looked at his younger brother, who was arguing with him, and saw his serious face while he was talking nonsense. The hollowed-out corner of his heart was comforted.
Even though this bastard's mouth was so poisonous that it could kill a cow, it didn't seem so bad having him around as a relative.
"Okay, okay."
Tony finally took the initiative and waved his hand, ending this boring quarrel.
"I admit that although your taste is hopelessly bad, you can occasionally say something that isn't too stupid."
He sat up straight, his expression became serious again, and the light of genius flashed in his eyes again.
"Let's get down to business." He snapped his fingers.
"Jarvis, pull up the map of our upcoming European travel route."
"Yes, sir."
The next second, a huge three-dimensional map of Europe appeared on the holographic projection in the cabin.
On the map, hundreds of red dots flickered slowly, each representing a known or suspected Hydra base.
"Okay," Henry said, perking up as he looked at the densely packed red dots.
"Where is our first stop? Berlin? Rome? Or..."
"Before we decide on a destination," Tony interrupted, his expression turning a little odd.
"I have to show you something interesting first."
He waved his hand, and the map of Europe was replaced by a complex network structure diagram.
Countless data flowed through it like blood, and a considerable portion of them eventually merged into a skull octopus symbol lurking deep within the network.
"This is..." Henry recognized it as the intranet of the Snake Shield at a glance, but he still asked despite knowing the answer.
"S.H.I.E.L.D.'s internal network." Tony's tone was cold.
"Before the hearing, out of a little curiosity, I asked Jarvis to go to the one-eyed man's backyard. Guess what I found?"
He didn't wait for Henry to answer and continued, "Just like you said last time, I found that the so-called S.H.I.E.L.D., this organization that claims to protect world peace, is nothing but a sieve! No, calling it a sieve is an insult to it. It's basically Hydra's employee cafeteria! It's full of traitors!"
Tony's voice rose unconsciously, and it was obvious that this discovery made him furious.
"They're lurking in every department, every corner! My father founded this organization to fight them, but now it's become a den of snakes! This is simply the biggest joke of
the century!"
Henry listened quietly, his heart calm.
For transmigrators, this is common sense.
But he still raised an eyebrow in cooperation: "So, these red dots, you found them from the SHIELD database?"
"Not exactly." Tony shook his head, a hint of arrogance belonging to a genius showing on his face.
"I had Jarvis control Skynet to track the digital traces, financial flows, and encrypted communications of all suspicious individuals within S.H.I.E.L.D.! Then, we followed these traces and uncovered their lairs across Europe one by one."
He reached out and tapped the holographic screen.
The network map changed again and finally locked onto an ancient castle located on top of a snowy mountain in Sokovia, Eastern Europe.
The three-dimensional structure of the castle is clearly presented, with the Gothic roof, thick stone walls, and the huge and complex underground facilities below all visible.
"Here." Tony pointed at the castle, his eyes turning cold.
"It's the most densely-packed and heavily-defended node in their network. Skynet can't completely penetrate it, as the information inside is heavily encrypted. But I'm certain this place is definitely an important Hydra stronghold in Europe, possibly even a research base."
Henry looked at the castle on the screen, his eyes flickering slightly.
Baron Strucker's base? Of course, he knew.
In the original novel, it was here that Wanda and Pietro were transformed into Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver by the Mind Sceptre.
However, the timeline is wrong now.
It's the time of Iron Man 2, and Loki hasn't even visited Earth with his sceptre yet; it's probably still in Thanos's possession. So, what's inside this base right now? What is Strucker using for his human experiments?
Are Wanda and her brother in there now?
Wanda was born in 1989 and is only 19 years old now. Has her superpower awakened?
However, according to the original work, they are very likely to be in the base.
Maybe not by relying on the Mind Gem to enhance magic, but certainly by training abilities.
A series of questions flooded Henry's mind, but his expression remained impassive.
He simply curled his lips and spoke in his usual tone. "So, your plan is for the two of us to just charge into this place that looks like Dracula's vacation home and see what shameful secrets are hidden inside? Tony, a few hours ago, you kept calling me reckless, but now... I have to say, your plan is truly full of imagination, with almost no tactics involved."
"That's called being straightforward, and it's the most effective tactic." Tony immediately retorted.
"We're not going on an archaeological dig, we're going on a pest control operation. What complicated plan is needed? Just kick the door down and tear down everything unsightly. It's that simple."
Henry looked at Tony's expression, which looked like he was hoping for chaos in the world, and shook his head helplessly.
He knew that after this guy killed Barnes with his own hands, he urgently needed an outlet to release the pain and anger in his heart.
And this Hydra base is undoubtedly the best target.
"Okay, you're right." Henry spread his hands.
"But I have to warn you, if an old antique wearing a cape and with fangs really jumps out of there, I won't help you make plasma meal replacement for him."
"Thank you for your concern, but I think I need you to worry about those Hydra bastards more," Tony replied without any gratitude. He stood up and stretched, loosening his muscles that were a little stiff from maintaining the same posture for a long time.
"It's settled, then." He snapped his fingers.
"The first stop on our European Hydra Doomsday Tour, Sokovia."
His voice echoed in the cabin, his tone resolute.
The haze that had just dissipated from his eyes seemed to gather again, but this time, it was no longer sadness and pain, but had turned into cold, murderous intent.
He had always deliberately acted as if he didn't care about his parents, not only because of his complicated relationship with his father, but also because he felt that they didn't care about him.
But now, he is nothing, not a billionaire, not a Playboy, not Iron Man.
He is just a son who wants to avenge his parents, and of course, he also has a younger brother who seems to only be able to use brute force.
