Tony's voice was soft, but it was like a cold hammer, striking hard in the silent hall.
Baron Strucker's face, which had remained calm until now, finally twitched uncontrollably.
The soldiers behind him subconsciously tightened their weapons, with beads of cold sweat oozing from their foreheads.
"Arrogant."
Stark squeezed out two words from between his teeth, his eyes flashing with resentment.
"All the men in the Stark family are as hopelessly arrogant as your father. It seems that without using some special means, I can't make you face reality."
As he spoke, he took a step back and gave a series of rapid orders in German.
"Activate the protocol! Kill them!"
As he gave the order, the dozen or so soldiers behind him who had been silent suddenly raised their heads.
There was no emotion in their eyes, only a cold light.
Their bodies began to make crackling sounds as bones began to dislocate, and their muscles swelled at a speed visible to the naked eye, nearly tearing the tactical uniforms on their bodies.
"Oh? Is the real thing finally coming?"
Henry looked at the B-movie-style transformation scene in front of him and was not nervous, but interested instead.
"Let me guess. What did you inject them with? Discounted super soldier serum? Or some cheap stimulant bought from some circus? Judging by the effects, the side effects are pretty significant. I bet their brains have been squeezed out by the muscles."
"Be careful, Henry." Tony's voice rang out. Although his tone remained relaxed, his eyes grew serious beneath the Armor's visor.
"The results of Jarvis' scan are in. These guys' physiological indicators are very abnormal. Their muscle density, bone strength, and metabolic rate are far beyond the range of normal humans. Simply put, they are a group of low-profile Captain Americas who are not afraid of death."
"Low-spec version?" Henry scoffed.
\
"Isn't that just a knockoff? I hate knockoffs the most."
Before he finished speaking, more than a dozen super soldiers who had completed their transformation had already let out wild beast roars. They abandoned the energy rifles in their hands and relied on their explosive physical strength to turn into more than a dozen black shadows, rushing towards the Stark brothers from different angles!
They were extremely fast and powerful, and every kick left a crack in the hard floor.
Fuck, who said this is a low-end version?
Does Captain America have this strength?!
"The left side is mine!" Tony yelled, his thrusters blasting out, and he charged at seven of the super soldiers.
"You take care of the right side! Remember, don't damage the wall! I need to review the decor here later to see if there's anything worth learning from!"
"You'd better worry about not getting the paint on your scrambled eggs with tomatoes scratched off!" Henry replied bluntly, and then, without dodging, he kicked the super soldier who rushed to him first with a whip kick.
"Bang!"
There was a dull thud, as if a ripe watermelon was smashed by a hammer.
The super soldier who was highly expected by Hydra didn't even have time to let out a scream before his head was instantly blown into a ball of bloody mist by Henry's seemingly casual kick.
The headless corpse rushed forward two more steps due to inertia before falling to the ground with a loud bang.
Whether it was the super soldiers who were besieging Tony, or Baron Strucker who was standing in the back watching the battle, they all stared in amazement at the brutal scene before them.
The battlefield fell into silence, and everyone was stunned.
"Fuck!"
It was a long time before Tony's curse was heard.
"You bastard! You agreed not to cause trouble! You kicked someone's head off! Now the carpet is all stained! Do you know how expensive this kind of handmade carpet is?!"
"Sorry, I slipped." Henry swung his legs and said innocently.
"Besides, I'm helping them save ammunition. See, it's all over now, so environmentally friendly."
As he spoke, his figure disappeared from the spot again.
What followed could no longer be called a battle. It was a one-sided massacre.
He would catch a super soldier's fist, and then, in front of the man's horrified gaze, slap him away with a palm.
Henry was like a gardener doing pest control; each move was quick and decisive.
He would also strike first, and when a soldier was about to hit him, he would casually stretch out his foot, trip the other person, and then step on his chest. The hard breast plate would collapse under his feet like paper.
On the other hand, Tony's fight seemed much more civilized.
He used the Armor's mobility and weapons to toy with opponents who were simple-minded and strong-limbed.
He would tie two soldiers together and make them spin in place like tops.
While dodging, they would also use light beams to accurately bombard their knee joints, making them instantly unable to move.
"See that, Mr. Bread?"
Tony dodged a heavy punch easily while not forgetting to launch a mental attack on Stark in the distance.
"This is the art of fighting! The perfect combination of strength and wisdom! And those muscle guys of yours who can only roar are at best performance art, and the worst kind at that!"
Baron Strucker's face had turned from blue to white, and from white to purple.
His proud ace troops were like kindergarten children in front of the Stark brothers, powerless to fight back. Fear began to spread uncontrollably from the depths of his heart.
"Retreat! Retreat!"
He finally recovered from his shock and roared hysterically.
"Activate the final defence protocol! Stop them here!"
Without any hesitation, he turned around and fled hastily towards a secret passage deep in the hall.
"Want to run?" Henry glanced at his embarrassed back and curled his lips.
He dealt with the last opponent and was about to catch up.
"Wait!" Tony suddenly called him.
"Why?"
Henry asked doubtfully, "Do you still want to leave his body intact?"
"No, of course not." Tony shook his head, and the mask of his Armor was retracted, revealing a solemn face.
"Jarvis just intercepted their internal communications. The old guy activated some final defence protocol, and he's going to the underground laboratory. And P..."
He paused, his tone becoming a little strange: "There seems to be something else in there. Jarvis detected a very strange energy reaction. It's not any energy form we are familiar with, and it's very unstable."
"Oh, that." Henry said calmly, "I've seen it."
As he spoke, his eyes narrowed slightly.
In his eyes, the thick walls, solid alloys, and layers of physical barriers became transparent.
His sight penetrated the entire structure of the base and accurately locked onto the deepest room.
In the room, two young people, a man and a woman, were in two glass cases respectively, their eyes burning with the same deep hatred.
