London.

Everyone was stunned. Are we going now?

"London?" Tony frowned.

"I say, my dear brother, do you have any misunderstanding about the word 'urgent'?

We are now followed by journalists, politicians, and possible remnants of Hydra from all over the world.

Trident HQ is a mess, like the Hulk threw a party, and now you're going to London to visit an almost 100-year-old woman?

Our Asgard Rejuvenation Project hasn't even started yet!

Tony was really troubled.

He wasn't against the plan; on the contrary, he thought the idea was awesome.

Bringing the legendary founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. back to his youth and into power is something only the Stark family can do.

But the question is timing! Is now the time to deal with this?

"Besides, what family situation are you talking about?" Tony looked at Henry suspiciously.

"Aunt Peggy has been single all her life, waiting for that old popsicle. Where does her family background come from? What are you planning?"

"Tony, can you not always think so linearly?" Henry smiled mysteriously.

"Who said I was just visiting? I was doing a pre-employment inspection and background check. Before officially hiring a CEO, you have to check out her work environment and cohabitants, right?"

Cohabitant?

Tony was even more confused. He always felt that there was something behind Henry's words, but he couldn't guess what this bastard was thinking.

"Okay, I'll leave the things here to you." Henry ignored him and walked straight out of the office.

"Jarvis, prepare the plane."

Tony looked at his back as he walked away gracefully and scratched his hair in annoyance.

No, he is absolutely worried about this guy going alone!

With Henry's character, God knows what kind of trouble he will cause.

"Bruce," he said, turning to Banner.

"I've already built the theoretical model and basic algorithm for the squid detector. Jarvis will send it to you. You and I can do some preliminary research and development first. I have to go over there and take a look. I'm afraid that bastard Henry will blow the roof off the sanatorium."

He would never admit that he was actually extremely curious about the family situation Henry mentioned.

An hour later, the fighter plane was flying steadily in the sky.

Inside the cabin, Henry leaned comfortably on the sofa with his eyes closed.

He seemed to be resting, but in fact, he was thinking about something.

London, Peggy Carter, and the one person who shouldn't be in this timeline.

Henry shook his head helplessly.

Others who travel through time just follow the plot and cling to the protagonist.

As for me, I have to deal with this mess of a timeline paradox right from the start.

At the end of Avengers 4, Steve Rogers traveled through time and returned the Infinity Stones.

Then he chooses to stay in the past, spend his life with Peggy, and eventually grow old peacefully in another timeline.

This is a seemingly perfect ending.

But for the main timeline where Henry is now, this means a variable.

That's right, it's the old Captain America who possesses all the memories of the future, has experienced the Infinity War, and even witnessed the birth and death of the universe.

But at this moment, he is like a ghost, hiding in the dust of history.

He knew about Hydra's infiltration, knew Fury's secret, and knew every crisis that would happen in the future.

But he chose to remain silent.

Why? Because you don't want to disrupt the timeline?

Or is it because he is tired of fighting and just wants to protect his lover and spend the rest of his life in peace?

Henry didn't know.

But as a person who is used to nipping all variables in the bud, he would never allow such an uncontrollable prophet to exist outside his plan.

This time, he went to London not only to see Peggy but also to meet the living legend.

He wanted to see for himself whether this weathered Captain America would be a helper in rebuilding order or the biggest obstacle. Of course, it would be best if he were willing to work for him; otherwise, he would be blamed.

"Hey, what are you thinking about? You're smiling so obscenely." Tony's voice interrupted Henry's thoughts.

He came over with two glasses of whiskey and handed one to Henry.

"I was thinking, after we make Aunt Peggy younger, we can dig that old popsicle out of the North Pole." Henry took the wine glass, shook it, and spoke seriously.

"When the time comes, should we consider where to hold their wedding? I think the top floor of Stark Tower would be great. It has a great view and can even set off fireworks."

The corners of Tony's mouth twitched.

"I'm warning you, Henry! Don't have such a bad idea! Aunt Peggy is the elder we respect the most!"

Although he said this, he unconsciously began to imagine the scene in his mind.

Well, it seems quite touching.

The plane slowly landed on the private helipad of the nursing home.

The director and several nurses, who had already received the notice, were waiting respectfully on the side.

Seeing the Stark brothers getting off the plane, excitement showed on their faces.

The brothers nodded politely to them and walked straight to the main building of the sanatorium.

When I opened the door, a familiar smell hit me.

The room is still warm and elegant.

In front of the huge floor-to-ceiling window, the white-haired Peggy Carter sat quietly in a wheelchair, covered with a blanket, looking at the garden outside the window with a somewhat distracted look.

But what was different from Henry's memory was that next to her wheelchair stood an old man with the same white hair, but still an upright figure.

He was wearing a well-fitting casual suit, holding an open book in his hand, and seemed to be reading something to Peggy.

There was a gentle smile on his face, and his eyes were full of passion and love for the woman beside him.

The moment he saw Henry and Tony come in, the smile on the old man's face froze slightly.

There was surprise, vigilance, and nostalgia in his eyes.

He calmly closed the book, stood up, and stood in front of Peggy's wheelchair without leaving any trace.

Tony looked at the strange old man in front of him with some confusion.

He nodded politely and prepared to speak.

However, Henry took the lead and stepped forward.

He didn't look at Peggy, but instead focused his gaze on the old man.

He looked at the old man and smiled.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Rogers."

Henry's words shocked the three people in the room.

Tony's pupils suddenly contracted!

Rogers?!

He subconsciously looked at the old man, comparing him with the young face in the black and white photo in his memory.

Those eyes, that iconic chin...

Although the other person has weathered by the years, his temperament in the photo has not changed at all.

Oh my god...

Tony felt like his brain was shutting down.

How is this possible?!

Steve Rogers? Captain America?

Shouldn't he be frozen in the Arctic?!

Who is this white-haired old man in front of me?!

The old man, or rather, the elderly Steve Rogers.

The moment he heard Henry call his name, his body suddenly froze.

Shock and horror appeared in his weathered eyes.

How could he know?!

In order not to confuse the timeline, they even gave up having their own children and just lived as an ordinary couple, hiding their identities and staying together until the end of their lives.

He and Peggy kept this secret for their entire lives.

But this young man in front of him, this extra son of Howard.

How could he reveal his identity in one breath!

Peggy, beside him, also woke up from her confusion because of Henry's sudden words.

Horror flashed in her cloudy eyes. She gripped the armrests of the wheelchair tightly and looked at Henry in disbelief.

"Who are you?" Steve's voice was low and alert.

His demeanor had changed, and he was no longer the gentle old man.

Henry didn't answer his question.

He walked around Steve and went to Peggy's wheelchair, squatted down, and put a gentle smile on his face again.

"Good afternoon, Aunt Peggy."
