I'm leaning back against the sofa with one arm wrapped around Bianca, holding her hand with my other one. My thumb traces small circles on her skin, and I can feel her pulse still slightly elevated from our... previous activities.
I press a kiss to the top of her head, and she leans into my shoulder with a small, satisfied smile.
We're both completely wrecked. Her long black and green hair is tousled and tangled where my fingers ran through it. Her makeup is destroyed. Her lipstick is entirely rubbed off from all the kissing, and there are still black mascara streaks running down her face from when she cried earlier. She looks beautiful and messy and mine, and my brain is having difficulty processing that this is actually my life now.
I probably don't look much better. My hair is definitely messed up, and I'm pretty sure there are grey lipstick marks all over my face and neck from where she was kissing me.
The frantic, desperate energy from earlier has mellowed into something softer. And now we're just quietly enjoying each other's company. It's nice. Peaceful, even.
Bianca's phone vibrates, breaking the comfortable silence. She glances at the screen. "Selene's here."
And just like that, my blood pressure spikes.
I stand up, my legs feeling weirdly shaky as I walk toward the door. I know that Bianca promised me Selene wouldn't be mad. But that seems... objectively insane? I mean, this can't be normal, right? There's no way Selene will be completely okay with me making out with her sister for an entire lunch period.
What if Bianca was wrong? What if Selene takes one look at us and decides that actually, sharing her boyfriend with her sister is a terrible idea and she'd rather just murder me instead? That seems reasonable. I'd understand.
Well, here goes nothing. I open the door, just enough for Selene to slip in.
"Hey guys!" She greets us cheerfully, her voice bright and energetic as always.
Then she actually sees us. Sees how messed up we look. Her eyes go wide, darting between us, and I literally watch her brain put the pieces together.
Oof. I tense, every muscle in my body preparing for her to freak out. This is it. This is where I die.
"Oh my gosh! You two totally made out!" She squeals, bouncing on her toes. "Look at you! Your hair is so messy!"
Wait, what?
Before I can process what's happening, she's bouncing over to me and leaning down to give me a quick kiss on the lips. "Hi boyfriend!"
Well... uh... I wasn't expecting that. I kiss her back without thinking, my brain still buffering from the sheer whiplash of this interaction. Then I glance at Bianca, expecting her to look furious.
Bianca just rolls her eyes. She's standing up now, brushing some wrinkles out of her crop top. "Hey, enough. I look like shit. Help me fix this before someone sees."
Okay... So somehow... They're both completely fine with this?
I'm dating the Holloway sisters. Both of them. At the same time. And they're both okay with it. This is either the best day of my life or I'm in a coma somewhere having a really elaborate fever dream.
"Oh! Right!" Selene bounces over to Bianca and hands her a jacket, sunglasses, and a facemask. Bianca promptly puts everything on, pulling the hood up over her messy hair.
I chuckle at the sight of Bianca, hiding her face like a celebrity trying to avoid paparazzi. Which, to be honest, considering her popularity at this school, isn't far from what's actually happening.
"What?" She mutters at me, her voice muffled from the face mask.
"Nothing." I laugh, walking over to her. "You look cute."
I press a kiss to her forehead, and she immediately turns away.
"Shut up, dork." I can see the blush spreading on what little of her face is visible. "I just... people are gonna be nosy as fuck if they see I've been crying."
"We'll be super quick!" Selene says brightly, already ushering Bianca toward the door. "Stay here!"
"Uh, yeah. But we're talking when you get back because I'm so confused right now."
"Obviously!" Selene beams at me.
Bianca just nods as she gets herded out the door by her sister.
And then they're gone, heading off to a washroom so that Bianca can fix her makeup. In the meantime, I take out my own phone and use the front-facing camera to try and fix myself up as much as possible before they're back.
Yeah, I look about as wrecked as I expected. My hair looks like I've been electrocuted. There are grey smudge marks all over my face and neck from Bianca's lipstick. And my lips are slightly swollen and red. Simply put, I look thoroughly kissed.
I wet my fingers with some saliva (gross, I know) and start rubbing at the grey marks. They come off after some effort, leaving my skin slightly red but at least not obviously covered in goth girl lipstick. My hair is a lost cause, but after some aggressive finger-combing, it looks more like I've had a bad hair day rather than I aggressively made out with someone all lunch.
Good enough.
When we're together again, we only have five minutes left of lunch.
Bianca looks absolutely perfect again, which is completely unfair. Her makeup is flawless, not a streak in sight. Her hair is back to its usual silky perfection. There's not a single sign that twenty minutes ago she was crying, and then making out with me intensely.
"How the hell do you guys do that? Look perfect in like five minutes?"
"We're just better than you," Bianca says smugly, settling onto the couch.
"It's a girl thing!" Selene adds cheerfully, claiming the spot on my other side.
"Yeah, thanks, that's helpful."
Selene immediately grabs my left arm, hugging it against her chest. Her breasts press into my arm, soft and warm.
"Oh, you missed a spot, dork," Bianca says, pointing to my neck. Then her lips curl into that teasing smirk.
"Where?"
"Right... here."
Before I can respond, she leans in and licks my neck. One long, slow drag of her tongue across my skin. I barely manage to bite back a groan.
That should not be as hot as it is.
Bianca pulls back with a satisfied smirk and wipes at my neck with her thumb. "There. You're welcome."
"You're messing with me."
"Maybe."
She's definitely messing with me.
I shake my head, trying to get my brain cells back online. "Okay. So. Can we... can we talk about what the heck is happening right now?"
"What do you mean?" Selene asks, tilting her head.
"I mean—" I gesture vaguely between the three of us. "This. Are we all dating now? Is that what's happening?"
"Yup!" Selene says brightly.
"Obviously." Bianca raises an eyebrow at me.
"And you're both cool with... sharing?"
"Uh huh!" Selene nods enthusiastically.
Bianca just shrugs. "Yeah."
I blink at them, waiting for the punchline that never comes. "How is this happening right now?"
"Well," Selene starts, squeezing my arm. "Bianca and I both knew we liked you! Like, forever ago! So we talked about it and decided we'd just both date you!"
I'm sorry, what?
"When the heck did this happen?!"
"Like weeks ago." Bianca says with a shrug.
"Yeah!" Selene cuts in. "At first I thought we'd have to compete or something!"
"But that's fucking stupid," Bianca interjects. "We're not gonna fight over some guy."
"So we talked about it!" Selene continues. "We decided that if you were into both of us, we'd just share!"
"Okay, but..." I turn to Bianca. "If you were both okay with this, why were you so pissed at me earlier?"
Bianca's expression shifts, becoming more vulnerable. "Because I didn't know if you wanted both of us, dumbass. You confessed to Selene, you kissed Selene, and I was just... I thought maybe you only wanted her."
"I told you that was dumb!" Selene says, leaning over me to poke her sister's shoulder.
"Shut up. I know it was dumb." Bianca crosses her arms. "But you confessed to her first. I just... fuck, I don't know. I was jealous."
"Yeah! You should've confessed to both of us!" Selene pouts at me. "At the same time! That would've been so romantic!"
"I didn't know that was an option! You think I was planning this? It just kind of happened!"
"Well, yeah, but still!" Selene argues.
"Also I would've died," I admit. "Like, actually had a heart attack. Confessing to one of you was hard enough."
They both giggle at that, and despite the absurdity of this entire situation, I feel myself relaxing.
Then Bianca gets this look on her face. That mischievous, knowing look that means she's about to say something to mess with me. "You like Luna, don't you?"
My entire body goes rigid. Are we really doing this now? Can't I have a day to process this situation before we tackle the next emotional crisis?
"I... yeah. I do." I brace myself for the anger, for jealousy, for something. But instead—
"Called it!" Selene practically squeals. "I told you, Bianca! I told you he had a crush on her!"
"She's really fucking cute," Bianca says, and there's genuine interest in her voice. "I've been thinking about her too, actually."
I blink. "I'm sorry, what?"
"I wonder if she'd be a good kisser," Bianca muses, biting her lip. "She seems like she'd be shy about it. That could be fun."
Oh my god. Bianca wants to kiss Luna. That mental image is going to live rent-free in my head forever.
"And she'd look so cute in different outfits!" Selene gushes. "She always wears those huge hoodies, but I bet she'd look amazing in something more fitted. Or a dress! Oh my gosh, can you imagine her in a sundress?"
"Hold on." I hold up a hand, my brain struggling to process this. "You two are... okay with me liking Luna?"
"Why wouldn't we be?" Bianca shrugs. "We're already sharing you. What's one more?"
"Plus, Luna is super sweet!" Selene adds. "She's so shy, it's adorable!"
"Plus she's hot," Bianca adds. "So there's that."
This is insane. This entire situation is insane.
"Okay, but like... we need to set some rules though," Bianca says, her tone becoming more serious. "If you're interested in anyone else, you ask us first. We need to agree."
"Yeah! No adding random people to our relationship without telling us!" Selene nods. "We have to meet them first and make sure they're not, like, terrible."
"And you have to make time for us," Bianca continues. "I don't care how busy you get with work or school or whatever. We get priority."
"Always!" Selene chimes in. "No excuses!"
I pull them both closer, wrapping my arms around them. The scent of strawberries and cherries mixes together, and I'm pretty sure this is what heaven smells like.
"Deal," I say quietly. "But can we table the detailed rule discussion for later? I just want to enjoy this for a minute."
They nuzzle against me.
"I love you two," I say quietly.
"Love you too!" Selene says immediately, her voice full of warmth.
"Yeah, yeah. Love you too, dork," Bianca mutters, but I can hear the softness in her voice.
