Chapter 67 - OPRK Chapter 67: The Demon Heir, A Clash of Titans

The pirates on the ship witnessed this scene, swallowing hard.

This was an extremely brutal individual who, at only fourteen years old, had single-handedly destroyed a nation.

Climbing this waterfall was a near-death experience.

Disobeying orders meant certain death!

It seemed there was no choice left. The helmsman gritted his teeth and steered the pirate ship towards the waterfall.

At Ringo's coast, King wiped his Enma, preparing to meet today's challenge.

Not far behind, Noro, wearing sunglasses, lay comfortably in an armchair, swaying. Seeing King's demeanor, he felt a slight urge to laugh.

This poor child.

Since invading Wano two years ago, fighting Kin'emon and Ashura Doji, he had been stuck in Wano ever since.

Kaido went on an expedition without him, and Noro went to the West Blue without him.

After guarding the home for so long, he finally awaited an invader, only to realize it was Shiki!

"They've arrived!"

Red light flickered in Noro's eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips as he looked towards the waterfall.

King did the same.

At the waterfall, a pirate ship leaped out, a tall figure standing at its bow.

Then, this tall figure stomped fiercely, leaping high, and the pirate ship directly crashed to the ground.

Noro sat up, squinting his eyes as he scrutinized the newcomer.

Black military uniform, long yellow hair, tall and burly physique, coupled with that youthful yet arrogant face.

Douglas Bullet!

Bullet didn't care about the lives of those pirates. After glancing at Noro and King, finding they weren't his targets, he shouted, "Where is Kaido? Come out!"

In the next second, a hellish Conqueror's Haki erupted from Bullet.

The pirates who had narrowly survived climbing the waterfall, only to be kicked to the ground by Bullet, hadn't even struggled to get up before they foamed at the mouth, their eyes rolled back, losing consciousness, collapsing to the ground.

But he had arrogantly picked the wrong place. Noro didn't even need to act. A terrifying Conqueror's Haki also erupted from King, powerfully clashing with Bullet's.

The two Conqueror's Haki transformed into two translucent canopies, colliding, compressing, neither giving way.

In the end, neither could overpower the other. The canopies shattered, turning into specks of starlight, dissipating into the air.

Bullet looked at King, his fighting spirit boiling, a wild grin on his lips. "Not bad."

King flapped his wings, slowly flying to a spot not far in front of Bullet, saying coldly, "You're not bad either. However, Wano is not a place for you to run wild!"

Saying this, King suddenly drew his sword. The flames behind him vanished in an instant, and he swept towards Bullet like a phantom.

"Good! Come on!"

Bullet roared excitedly, his right fist covered in black Armament Haki. He stomped fiercely on the ground, transforming into a cannonball fired from a barrel, crashing into King.

Boom!

Sword and fist collided with a deafening roar. The explosive aftershock rippled outwards in concentric circles, blowing Noro's stylish bangs.

King and Bullet each exerted more force, yet neither could overpower the other. Their brows simultaneously furrowed and then relaxed.

The opponent's strength exceeded their expectations.

However…

This is even better!

Their fighting spirits were completely ignited. They simultaneously retreated, creating distance.

Bullet channeled all his strength, powerful Armament Haki covering both fists, and grinned savagely as he charged towards King again.

King held his sword horizontally in front of him, ink-black Armament Haki climbing onto the blade. Enma emitted an enchanting purple light, meeting the charge without backing down.

The two figures became afterimages, colliding fiercely, neither willing to yield.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Each collision was accompanied by a sonic boom-like explosion and waves of air.

Noro propped his chin, watching the two's battle with interest.

Although it was his first time seeing Bullet, he was no stranger to him.

This was a formidable man, similar to Kaido.

Bullet was born in a country in the Grand Line where wars were endless. He was abandoned by his mother at a young age, becoming an orphan.

He was later adopted by an enemy army. At the age of eight, he was already a child soldier, his main task being to step on landmines and lead the charge on the battlefield.

He was essentially cannon fodder.

But Bullet, relying on his powerful physique, survived time and again from the brink of death.

On the battlefield, the one who achieved the greatest military merit could receive a "medal." This was what Bullet yearned for, because he heard that receiving a "medal" meant he could leave the battlefield and gain freedom.

For this, Bullet fought desperately, but just as he was about to successfully obtain the medal, he was betrayed by his comrades. Not only was the "medal" stolen, but he was also severely wounded and near death.

Since then, Bullet no longer trusted anyone, focusing only on his own victory.

During one war, due to hunger and fatigue, Bullet ate the Gasha Gasha no Mi (合體果實).

Later, Bullet, relying on his powerful combat strength, dominated the battlefield. At the age of fourteen, he was already a national hero.

But this also attracted the jealousy of his leader, the unit commander, who betrayed Bullet in a war, attempting to kill him.

The enraged Bullet destroyed the entire army and nation, then was pursued by the World Government and Marines, forced to go to sea.

At fifteen, which was next year, Bullet would meet the Roger Pirates.

He first fought Rayleigh to a draw, then was defeated by Roger, joining the Roger Pirates as a challenger.

Noro, however, thought this was fake news.

Roger would have absolutely crushed Bullet. The gap between Roger and Rayleigh wasn't that terrifying.

It was probably Rayleigh playing with a child. Roger, that old hooligan, would have just used a "Divine Departure" like he did against Oden.

After Roger's execution, Bullet went on a rampage across the sea, turning the world upside down, eventually attracting a Marine Buster Call.

The legendary duo, Sengoku and Garp, jointly took action to send the 22-year-old Bullet to Impel Down.

What a glorious yet tragic life.

However…

Noro rubbed his chin, somewhat puzzled. Why had Bullet come to Wano?

Actually, Noro didn't know that Bullet was indeed looking for the Roger Pirates.

He no longer trusted so-called comrades. He only believed in his own strength. He wanted to become the strongest in the world.

And Roger was currently the person with the highest bounty. Bullet wanted to challenge Roger.

Unfortunately, Roger only had a dilapidated ship, running around the world, and Bullet couldn't find him at all.

His second target was Whitebeard, but similarly, he couldn't find him either.

Although the Whitebeard Pirates also had territory, they were usually on the Moby Dick.

At this moment, a newspaper reporting the Beasts Pirates' defeat of Shiki drifted before his eyes.

The Beasts Pirates had a fixed territory.

So, Bullet hijacked a pirate ship and came to Wano to challenge Kaido.
