Chapter 69 - OPRK Chapter 69: The Demon Heir's Might, Noro's Intervention

The Sun Eater halberd sliced through the air, and a crescent-shaped slash tore forth.

The slash, trailing dark red lightning, powerfully struck the giant's ink-black fist.

The fist shattered upon contact, turning into scattered dust.

"Nani?!"

Inside the giant's body, Bullet's eyes widened in disbelief, an exclamation escaping his lips.

His proud Armament Haki had been so easily shattered.

With no time to think, the slash was already whistling towards his location.

Bullet hastily mobilized all his Armament Haki to protect the giant's front, but it was futile.

The giant crumbled inch by inch, and the slash, unstoppable, struck before Bullet.

"Wah!"

Bullet spat out a mouthful of blood, his eyes almost rolling back. His body was sent flying backward like a kite with a broken string.

He flew backward for an unknown distance until the sword energy dissipated, only then did Bullet's momentum cease.

His knees buckled weakly, and Bullet supported himself with one hand on the ground, spitting out another mouthful of blood.

King's eyes seemed to burn with fire.

An attack imbued with Conqueror's Haki infusion, when will I be able to learn it!

Noro, dragging his Sun Eater halberd, slowly walked towards Bullet.

Bullet, seeing this, sat directly on the ground, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"So strong!"

"Is this the top-tier strength of the sea?"

One move.

Just one move.

He was utterly powerless, directly defeated.

What a chasm this was.

He had truly been a frog in a well, underestimating this sea. And this was only the Vice-Captain of the Beasts Pirates!

Bullet's fervent gaze fell on Noro. There was no hint of resentment, nor fear.

He knew his impending fate.

The defeated had no say. A challenger who lost should die.

This was the rule the battlefield had taught him.

Dying at the hands of such a strong individual was better than being betrayed by comrades.

Noro's lips curled into a smile, and he chuckled. "Quite strong, to still be conscious."

Bullet showed no fear of death, his eyes still untamed. "I am the man who will become the strongest in the world!"

Hmm?

Noro's brow furrowed, then quickly relaxed, a mischievous smile slowly curving on his lips:

"It's too much of a waste to let you die now, brat. If you haven't caused enough trouble, then carry the Jolly Roger of the Beasts Pirates and cause all the trouble you want on the high seas!"

Bullet scoffed, curling his lips.

Noro had slightly bent down, his smile growing more benevolent, extending his palm towards Bullet:

"Be my son!"

Bullet: "…"

King, not far away: "…"

The two looked at Noro in shock. At this moment, both young men suspected their ears had been damaged in the recent battle.

Moments later, Bullet's roar shattered the clouds.

"Don't joke around!"

Bullet ultimately decided to stay in Wano, joining the Beasts Pirates as a challenger.

To Noro's regret…

He wouldn't even call him "Pops"!

Noro didn't understand!

Why was Whitebeard's success rate so high?

At this moment, Bullet, covered in bandages, sat at the dining table, ravenously devouring food.

However, his gaze towards Noro was filled with fervent fighting spirit.

"I will defeat you one day, Noro!"

Noro smiled, pointing his thumb at Leia beside him. "Then you'll have to wait in line. There's someone ahead of you who also wants to defeat me."

"Heh!"

Leia snorted arrogantly, turning and walking away without looking back.

She needed to seize the time to train.

She felt that the gap in strength between her and this great snake was growing wider and wider.

At this rate, when would she ever defeat this snake and restore the glory of the griffon vulture?

Bullet didn't put Leia in his eyes. After swallowing another large mouthful of meat, he asked teasingly, "Aren't you afraid I'll betray you?"

"Noro!"

Noro waved his hand indifferently. "No."

Bullet, hearing this, raised an eyebrow playfully. "Oh? Is that so?"

Facing Bullet's slightly provocative words, Noro's eyes were calm, without a ripple.

"You can try."

Bullet paused for a moment. He saw the confidence unique to a strong individual in Noro's calm eyes.

Absolute confidence in his own strength, looking down on the world, fearless and unafraid.

"Hahahaha…"

Bullet couldn't help but burst into laughter.

This was the feeling.

The strong wouldn't fear betrayal. Just like his two betrayals, but what of it?

He was strong. Their so-called betrayals couldn't do anything to him, instead costing them their lives.

The strong only believed in their own power!

Bullet felt his blood begin to boil. This person in front of him was his next target!

Ringo Port.

King gloomily directed the crew members to put out fires.

King couldn't help but be gloomy. Fighting Shiki, he was one-shotted. The gap was too big, nothing to say.

Fighting Bullet, he couldn't win. Although he didn't lose, not winning was losing.

King sighed softly, then waved his hand. A crew member quickly came over.

"Grand General, what are your orders?"

King said in a deep voice, "I'm going to patrol the waterfall. You all continue putting out fires."

The crew member immediately replied respectfully, "Rest assured, Grand General. Leave this to us."

"Mm."

King nodded lightly, his wings spread behind him, soaring into the sky, disappearing from everyone's sight.

At the waterfall below Wano, a pirate ship was anchored. Strangely, the ship's figurehead was singing loudly.

This pirate ship had traveled all the way from Whole Cake Island to Wano's waters. Looking at the towering waterfall, Linlin couldn't help but excitedly stick out her tongue and lick the corner of her mouth.

"Mama mama mama mama… Kaido, I'm here!"

Perospero, with his tongue hanging out, came to Linlin, saying softly, "Mama, everything is ready. We can climb the waterfall now."

Linlin nodded in satisfaction. "Begin, my dear son."

"Yes, Mama."

Perospero nodded, then turned to arrange the crew members.

Then, giant carp pulled Linlin's Queen Mama Chanter, beginning to swim upstream, climbing the waterfall.

King, flying high above Ringo, immediately spotted this pirate ship.

"You're out of luck!"

King, who was still feeling gloomy, sneered, transforming into a flaming Pteranodon and diving towards the waterfall below.

Perospero, with his sharp eyes, spotted the Pteranodon, exclaiming, "What is that?"

Linlin's eyes narrowed. "Is that King?"

The other children asked in confusion, "A Pteranodon?!"

Perospero, as the eldest son, immediately ordered, "Prepare to engage!"

Big Mom's children and crew members immediately raised their weapons, firing at the Pteranodon in the sky.

Bullets rained down like a storm. King, relying on his agile movements, dodged them all and quickly closed in.

By the time Big Mom realized something was wrong and wanted to intervene, the Pteranodon had already arrived at the Queen Mama Chanter's figurehead, kicking down without hesitation…
