Seeing her return, her stepmother, Sabrina Anderson, momentarily froze before putting on a concerned expression and approaching her. "Ella , where have you been? Your dad and I were worried sick! Your sister went out looking for you and hasn't returned yet!"
"Are you going to find me, or are you off to have an affair with my 'fiancé'?"
"How dare you!" Dalton Grant shot up from the sofa, his face twisted with anger. "Do you have any idea how important this marriage with the Lee family is? The Grant family has lost face because of you today, and you still dare to say such things! Go apologize to the Lee family right now! If they don't accept you as their daughter-in-law, then I don't want you as my daughter!"
