After demons kill his family and Nezuko becomes a demon, everything happens just like in the original story.
Tanjiro Kamado meets Giyu Tomioka, who sends him to train under Sakonji Urokodaki to become a Demon Slayer.
Tanjiro begins his long, harsh training on Mount Sagiri, learning to survive, fight, and master Water Breathing — all just like in canon.

Screen 2
One day, Urokodaki gives Tanjiro the final test — the boulder training, just like in the original story.
As Tanjiro trains alone in the forest, he suddenly hears a strange sound nearby.
It's not human. It's not a demon either.
He turns toward the noise.
From the shadows, something dark and alive slithers out — black, liquid-like, pulsing.
Tanjiro steps back, sword ready.
"What is that… a demon?"
The black mass lunges at him. It moves faster than anything he's seen.
Before Tanjiro can swing, it leaps — wrapping around his body like living armor.
He screams, trying to fight it off, but the voice whispers inside his head:
> "Don't fight me, Tanjiro… we can be stronger… together."
Tanjiro falls to his knees, eyes wide, as the black substance sinks into his skin.
The forest goes silent.
