Night falls over the quiet streets. Tamayo and Yushiro stand outside the hidden house. Venom's black form ripples faintly over Tanjiro's shoulders as he speaks.
> Venom: "Lady Tamayo… I saved your home once. I don't like demons, but you're different. Smart. Controlled. My enemy's enemy… is my ally."
Tamayo studies the symbiote with calm eyes.
Tamayo: "I accept your protection — for now. But remember, your hunger could turn you into what you hate."
Venom: "We'll see."
Tanjiro: "Then I'll leave it here. Thank you for trusting us."
As they turn away, Tamayo murmurs quietly, almost to herself:
> Tamayo: "A monster that saves humans. The world truly is changing."

The next day, Tanjiro meets Zenitsu Agatsuma exactly as in canon — on the roadside, begging a woman not to leave him.
Tanjiro sighs.
> Venom: "Is he really one of us?"
Tanjiro: "Yes. Somehow."
Venom: "He screams more than he breathes. Still… he might be useful."
Tanjiro: "You mean an ally?"
Venom: "I mean a future shield."
Later, they encounter Inosuke Hashibira, shirtless and feral, charging through the woods like a boar.
Venom's tendrils twitch in amusement.
> Venom: "That one… I like."
Tanjiro: "Please don't encourage him."
The chaotic trio forms, unknowingly walking toward the mansion of the Drum Demon.

The group enters Kyogai's rotating mansion. The air vibrates with the beat of taiko drums.
Round 1 — The Room Turns
The first drumbeat twists the room — the ceiling becomes the floor.
Zenitsu screams.
Inosuke laughs hysterically.
Venom anchors Tanjiro midair with black tendrils gripping the walls.
> Venom: "Gravity shift detected. Right shoulder — rotation source."
Tanjiro: "Got it. Follow the rhythm of his drums!"
Result: No disorientation. Tanjiro lands perfectly balanced.

Round 2 — Sound vs. Sense
Invisible claw slashes slice through the air, shredding the floor.
> Venom: "Incoming — three strikes, high left!"
Tanjiro ducks and spins.
Tanjiro: "Water Breathing, Second Form — Water Wheel!"
He deflects the waves while Inosuke tears through debris.
Zenitsu collapses, snores — then vanishes in a flash of lightning: Thunderclap and Flash!
Kyogai reels from the team's unpredictable rhythm.

Round 3 — Venom's Counter-Rhythm
Venom senses Kyogai's pulse pattern through vibration.
> Venom: "He plays in triplets. We'll strike on the downbeat."
Tanjiro: "Copy that."
They move in sync — two drums sliced clean off. The domain shakes; gravity flickers.
> Kyogai (panting): "You can read… my rhythm?"
Venom: "We don't read. We feel."

Round 4 — The Finale
Kyogai slams all drums at once — the mansion convulses.
Venom lashes tendrils out, grabbing Zenitsu and Inosuke mid-fall.
> Venom: "Hold still. I'll keep you grounded."
Inosuke: "Weird goo guy's strong!"
Zenitsu (half-asleep): "Just… kill it already…"
Tanjiro exhales.
> Tanjiro: "Water Breathing, Tenth Form — Constant Flux!"
Venom spirals around his sword like a black current.
They strike perfectly with the final downbeat.
Kyogai's head falls, expression peaceful for the first time in years.
> Tanjiro (softly): "Your music was beautiful… but it hurt too many people."
Venom: "Beauty doesn't erase blood."

Screen 4
Silence fills the ruined mansion.
Tanjiro kneels beside Kyogai's remains, eyes full of respect.
> Venom: "You could've finished him faster… but you gave him dignity. Strange, for a hunter."
Tanjiro: "Everyone deserves peace in the end."
Inosuke pokes Venom's shoulder.
> Inosuke: "Teach me how to get goo armor!"
Zenitsu wakes up, sees Venom, and screams.
Zenitsu: "Why is there a black monster on you?!"
Venom (deadpan): "Morning."
Tanjiro sighs, smiling slightly.
> Tanjiro: "Let's move. We've got more demons ahead."
Venom: "Good. I was getting bored."
