Chapter 1 - A murderer.

The snow was falling, And the wind was chilly, That didn't stop the city from being busy.

Each person in the city was busy, shopping, Walking, gossiping.

Most of the world thinks the northern side if the continent is rather less lively, But it was rather the opposite.

The city great walls surrounded it, not to mention the great castle towering above a hill

it was was a rather beautiful and calming sight to behold.

A boy, looks like in his seventeens was taking shelter from the chilling wind.

His clothes we're ragged, also the boy was skinny, almost as if he wasn't eating well.

"What kind of a day is this"

his voice was harsh as he walked to an alleyway

in the alleyway there two men fighting

"It was your fault that woman escaped!"

The other replied

"My fault?! you're the one who scared her"

The boy let out a loud sigh that got the two men attention.

"Hey look at this kid"

The other guy scoffed as he walked towards the boy

"I really need a punching bag right now"

***

The boy walked out of the alleyway wearing one of the men jacket, he was holding a shattered fragment of glass, apparently he killed them using it.

"Little bit better"

The boy throws the glass fragment into the trash as he walked away

"Let's see..where can i find a job"

A strong wind wave hit the boy, it made him cover his face, as he made his way towards the nearest tavern

As he entered, the first thing he saw was knights, four of them.

'Knights..'

The boy took a seat and ordered a cheap drink, planning to spend his last silver coin here

The boy managed to eavesdrop on them.

"Have you heard? Lord Damian is building an army of Awakeners!"

The other Knights looked at thier friend with bewilderment

second knight, he looked like the youngest replied:

"We knights haven't even got a chance to go through the first trial, that's unfair!"

A third Knight smacked the youngest one back, he had a gray hair, seemingly the oldest and the most experienced

"We serve his majesty, whatever he does, we shouldn't oppose to his decisions.
