Chapter 1
In a peaceful place, a mother-daughter duo, Aling Emma and her only child Ella, reside. the duo is happy with their simple life. Ella was born without a father, who had left them when her mother was probably pregnant. Despite this, Aling Emma strived to raise and support her beloved child alone. Ella grew up to be a good child and a God-fearing person.
One day, while walking, Ella heard that a new school had opened. She really wanted to study, so she immediately went home and told her mother what she had heard.
Ella — Mom, i have a good news. I heard that a new school is opening, and i want to study
Aling Emma — you know we're struggling, and I don't have the means to support your studies.
Ella — I'm sorry, I really want to study, I promise you I'll do my best.
Upon hearing this, Aling Emma agreed to her child's wish.
