Chapter 20 "He Created Me"
Peter's team at the forest
Kai: "Peter, now it's up to you. You have to focus and open a portal."
Peter: "I… I don't think I have access to the powers of the dark element."
Kai: "Peter, you're the son of Goldex. If he could do such destruction with that power, then I believe that same power exists within you."
Ethan: "But still, how is that possible? How can he open a portal to the exact dimension where Reynolds is?"
Alyssa: "Maybe… it's a power name?"
Ethan: "What?"
Alyssa: "Maybe it's one of the powers of the dark element the ability to open a portal to that dimension."
Ethan: "That makes sense. What if every dark element user can access that dimension?"
Peter: "What are you guys talking about?"
Kai: "I understand now. Peter, imagine there's a string attached to a pole. If you move away, the string stretches, but it still stays connected to that pole."
Ethan: "So, we can assume that the unknown entity and you both have the power of the dark element meaning you're connected to the same pole."
Alyssa: "And that pole… is that dimension."
(Suddenly, the radios in their pockets began to crackle with static sounds from the battlefield could be heard. The intense clash between Zimbraya and the unknown entity continued to rage.)
Scene shifts to the battlefield
The destruction was unimaginable. The entire ground was shaking, and the sky was filled with dust and fire. Both of them fought without holding back neither willing to give up, even after an hour of battle.
Unknown Entity: "You're strong. You should join hands with me. Together, we'll conquer Shinobu and also destroy the ones who control us. You know who I'm talking about."
Zimbraya: "I know… it's Luther, the organization created by Goldex."
(Peter's team and Aqua, who were on their way toward Shinobu, were listening through the radio.)
Zimbraya continues: "Luther created you for the sole purpose of bringing Shinobu down, didn't they?"
Unknown Entity: "You're right. But I also know something about you you work for the World Order."
Zimbraya: "Ahh, so you know."
Peter (listening through the radio): "So they were both sent by different parties… but why? And Luther still exists? I thought it was destroyed with Goldex."
Ethan: "The Luther organization wants Shinobu for its power. The World Order wants Shinobu as a luxury site for their VIPs."
Unknown Entity: "Isn't it a coincidence for us both to be here at the same time?"
Zimbraya: "I know one thing the leader of Luther once approached the President of the World Order to form an alliance to destroy Shinobu. But their goals were different, and the President refused to join hands with Luther. Sending armies was not an option Shinobu's global reputation would make that move suspicious. So, the mission became secret."
Unknown Entity: "And they sent you — disguised as their previous, dead leader, Zimbraya."
Unknown Entity: "Zimbraya, join hands with me. Together, we'll destroy Shinobu and then we'll see what happens next."
Zimbraya: "I know what will happen. You'll kill me."
Unknown Entity: "Don't be so rude. I'll take you to Luther and grant you powers that will make you unstoppable. Just imagine you'll finally be free from all burdens."
(For the first time, Duplicate Zimbraya was silent. He thought about it — it sounded like a good idea. He stepped forward to shake hands. But the moment he did, the Unknown Entity struck, piercing Zimbraya's chest with multiple tentacles.)
Ethan (listening): "He betrayed him?"
Unknown Entity: "I always knew you were weak a pathetic loser."
(At that point, Duplicate Zimbraya realized he had lost the battle. Suddenly, his memories started flooding back.)
Flashback of Zimbraya
The last time I was happy was with my family — my wife and my little daughter.
My wife… she was the most beautiful creation I had ever seen.
Peter (listening): "What's happening there?"
Ethan: "His memories are coming back the ones the World Order erased."
I was in the army, but I noticed strange things in the system. Every year, over a thousand people went missing but no one questioned the government, no investigations were done.
I wanted to dig deeper. I told my wife, Sera, about it. She got scared and told me not to interfere, but I didn't listen. One night, I secretly went to their base. I moved carefully so the guards wouldn't see me. What I saw gave me goosebumps they were experimenting on humans to enhance their powers, treating them like trash.
"Mom, where is Dad?" my five-year-old daughter asked. Sera replied softly, "He'll be back soon."
I tried to rescue as many as I could. I fought until the end, rescuing more than 500 people that night. But I was covered in blood, and eventually, I collapsed.
When I opened my eyes, I was in the top floor of the World Order's base. I was tied to a chair. The President entered wearing a suit, a gun in his hand, his aura cold and confident.
An assistant beside him said, "His name is Feroz."
(That's right before I became Zimbraya, I was Feroz.)
President: "I see…" (He spoke calmly, sitting on his chair.) "Feroz, I'll give you two options and your answer will change your life."
(The door opened, and guards brought Sera inside. Her hands and mouth were tied.)
Feroz: "You bastard!!!"
President (laughing): "Now, your life is truly in my hands."
(His aura was strong and fearless. This was the beginning of one of the most horrific moments in Feroz's life.)
