The morning breeze was calm.Alokita stretched, yawned, and looked at his tiger curled beside him.He smiled. "Morning, flame cat."
The tiger opened one eye, annoyed.
"I told you! I am the Flame King, not a cat!"
Alokita shrugged. "Same thing to me."
"You dare—!"
Before the tiger could finish, the system interrupted.
[System Notice: Daily Quest – Beast Training Session]• Help your beast practice control fire for 10 minutes.• Reward: +5 Beast Experience, +3 Host Fire Resistance• Punishment: System-assisted training ×2 if ignored.
Alokita sighed. "System, do you hate me?"
[System Reply: No. Host needs discipline.]
"Same thing…"
The tiger stood proudly. "Good! I shall train. I will show my power."
Alokita sat down cross-legged. "Go ahead. I'll supervise."
"You must participate!"
"I'm participating… by watching."
The tiger growled, flames flickering. "You're useless."
He ignored it, leaning against the wall. "Training doesn't mean running around. Mental support also counts."
[System Notice: Host Inactive. Task not started.]
Alokita frowned. "Fine! Fine! I'll do something."
He picked up a stick and pointed at a small stone. "Okay, aim fire at that. Don't burn my house."
The tiger roared softly and shot a small flame. The stone exploded into ashes.
Alokita blinked. "That was the smallest fire you have?"
"Of course not. I was holding back."
He sighed. "Good. Please keep holding back."
They continued training, but after a few minutes, the tiger got excited and used too much fire. The whole ground burned black.Smoke filled the yard.
Alokita coughed. "You idiot! You'll burn the whole mountain!"
"It's called power, weak human."
Alokita waved his arms, trying to stop the flames. "Stop! Stop! Use your fire control!"
The tiger closed its eyes and tried to absorb the flames… but instead, it sneezed — and a burst of fire hit Alokita's face.
He screamed, "HOT! HOT! HOT!" and jumped into a water barrel.
The tiger blinked. "Oops."
[System Notice: Host Fire Resistance +5 | Beast Control +2 | Task Completed]
Alokita looked up from the water barrel, hair steaming. "System… did you just reward me for getting burned?"
[System Reply: Host gained real fire experience.]
Alokita sighed. "You're insane."
The tiger puffed proudly. "You should thank me."
"Thank you? You almost cooked me!"
The tiger sat, tail flicking. "You survived. Be grateful."
Alokita glared. "One day, I'll turn your fire into cooking gas."
"Try it, human. I dare you."
They stared at each other for a long moment. Then Alokita sneezed from the smoke, breaking the tension.
[System Notice: Hidden Stats Increased | Beast Loyalty +2 | Humor Skill +1]
Alokita rubbed his nose. "Next time, no fire indoors."
The tiger looked away. "I make no promises."
"Of course you don't…"
He flopped back on the floor, half wet, half burned, too lazy to move. The tiger curled beside him, pretending not to care.
And so, their "training" continued —a lazy boy gaining power by accident, and a proud beast wondering how its life turned into babysitting a fool.
Alokita was lying on his bed, half-asleep.The tiger was snoring beside him, small flames flicking from its nose.Everything was peaceful.Until—

The tiger sniffed it. "A very dangerous hole."

A flash of light surrounded them. They appeared inside a dark cave filled with green mist and creepy sounds.
Alokita gulped. "Okay… maybe this was a bad idea."The tiger whispered, "You think?!"
They heard a soft growl behind them.A small, green slime bounced toward them.
Alokita tilted his head. "That's it? One jelly?"
The tiger raised an eyebrow. "Pathetic creature. I'll destroy it."
The tiger opened its mouth—But before it could attack, the slime spat sticky goo right on the tiger's face!
The tiger roared. "It dares attack me!"
Alokita laughed so hard he fell over. "You got slimed! Oh my god—"
The tiger glared, covered in goo. "Stop laughing and help me!"

Alokita froze. "Wait… what? Level D?! That's higher!"
The tiger slowly stepped backward. "No. I'm out. Goodbye."
"Hey! Don't leave me!" Alokita shouted.
But the tiger already ran for the portal. The system beeped.
