Chapter 1 - Who are you

This is a story that takes place after the battle with the demon Satan. After his defeat, almost half the population was wiped out by him and his evil army from hell. In this time period, one day in hell there was a boy being carried by a gorgeous woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties. She was being followed by demonic beings angered by her perfection. She swiftly ran from the demons with the boy in her arms. All of the demons used strange spells, attacking the woman viciously. The woman found herself in an inescapable predicament and decided she wouldn't be able to run away, so in a flawless motion she unexpectedly stopped, jumped, and spun in a circle as a white sword appeared in her right hand. While in the air she said three words in another language: citas see earth. She and the boy were instantly transported to a grassy area on the planet Earth.

She saw a village in the distance, though it was very dark. When she got to the village she placed the little infant boy on a stranger's doorstep and said, "You're gonna be just fine, my baby boy." The woman began to cry as she spoke. "Grow up big and strong — I know your mother would want that." She backed away from the boy as she heard a magic portal opening. "Goodbye, darling," she said.

Fast forward seven years, and the boy was playing hide-and-seek with his two sisters at night. "Aton! Count to thirty!" one of his sisters yelled as she ran off to hide. Both of his sisters were older than him and were named Emily and Sara. Aton counted to thirty while his two sisters hid. One hid behind the curtain and the other hid under her bed. "Ready or not, here I come," said Aton. He walked around looking for them, but then something strange happened. He heard a bump coming from underneath Sara's bed. Without hesitation he shouted, "I found you!" while quickly ducking down to check underneath the bed. He thoroughly checked under the bed, but there was no one there. As he got up he heard a voice say, "Hey? Did you find her yet?" as Sara's head rolled from under the bed, and the voice let out a hideous laugh — it almost sounded like snickering.

Emily heard a scream coming from Sara's room and immediately started running over. "Hey! What's wrong?" she called from across the hall. Aton was still screaming in unbelievable terror as Emily walked into the room. "Hey, stop screaming. What's the matter with you? Where's Sara?" she said. Aton slowly lifted his hand and pointed to the disembodied head on the floor. "Sara?" Emily said in a whimper. "Aton, what happened?" she asked. "There's something under the bed," said Aton. "Huh? Is he talking about me?" said the voice. Aton and Emily froze as the voice began standing up, lifting the entire bed with it. It was about nine feet tall, with a hideous face and dark green skin.

As they stared at the demon, both of their parents walked into the room. "Hey, why are you guys so loud?" said their father — but when he saw the giant demon staring directly into his eyes he died of shock. Then he realized he couldn't die of shock due to a spell the demon had cast. The demon began to breathe very heavily, so Aton and Emily began to back up very slowly out the doorway where their dad was. Then the demon leaped in a flash, devouring their father's head alive. "What do you want from us?!" said the mom while crying on the floor. "We want the boy!" said the demon, then stuck its tongue through her heart, killing her instantly.

Emily and Aton ran down the hall as Emily wiped tears from her eyes and Aton had a traumatized look on his face. Outside there was a man dressed in a black coat walking nearby. The man heard loud screaming coming from inside, so he went to check it out. Meanwhile, inside the house Emily tried turning the front-door knob, but it wouldn't open, so Aton tried busting the door down with his shoulder. As he was doing that, Emily heard a lady's voice behind her. The lady was singing a lullaby as the lights went out and Aton just kept pounding at the door. "Leave us alone! What do you want?!" Emily said. "We came for him," said the lady. "Who?!" said Emily. The lady pointed at Aton. "You! It's all your fault!" Emily yelled while pushing Aton. "Sara, Mom, Dad — it's all because of you," Emily cried out as she began punching Aton. The lady just smiled wickedly as she flashed forward to eat the young girl, but Aton noticed the lady's lust and screamed, "Wait!" The lady evaporated. "No! No, no, no, Sara! I'll kill you!" Emily yelled while pulling out a pocketknife. "I'm sorry, Emily!" Aton yelled in fear. Emily stabbed once, but the knife didn't even break skin. She tried again with even more force and the knife broke in half. Emily kept stabbing even with the broken knife, over and over again, crying all over him. The door suddenly opened — it was the man from outside. He looked down the hall and saw two bodies on the floor and looked to his left and saw Emily stabbing Aton relentlessly. There was no blood and Aton was not in pain, so the man grabbed Emily by the arm and said, "Just stop. You're gonna be okay, I promise."

She couldn't stop crying. "I've always hated you. Mom and Dad always favored you — they said you were special and I'm just me. When you were younger people would come to receive a blessing from you; you could heal people, give them strength. But that all changed one night when you turned everything into a living nightmare. Demons started appearing out of nowhere and devouring our loved ones. I was playing outside with my best friend Tera and she went to get the ball we were playing with from the woods, but what came back wasn't Tera. When I saw it I froze. I didn't even want to blink, because if I looked away it might not be there when I looked back. I heard a voice coming from nowhere saying," — "citas see hell." "The voice was so kind, and the demon disappeared, but I never saw Tera again."

"I'm sorry to hear that. You must be going through more than what you deserve. No mom, no dad — that must be hard. But how about I take care of you guys now?" said the man. "Are you sure? Didn't you see what just happened?" said Aton. "It's nothing I can't handle. Now you two rest up; I'll be back in the morning to get you," said the man.

The next morning Aton woke up to a letter on his nightstand. It said, "I'm sorry, Aton. I can't bear living with you right now. We'll meet again someday." "Emily?" said Aton. Aton ran downstairs out the front door only to find the man standing outside. "Well, you're in a hurry," said the man. "Where's Emily?!" Aton yelled. "Haven't seen her," said the man. Aton gave the note to the man; after reading the note he said, "You have to respect her wishes and see this from her perspective. She made her decision and that's her choice. Now let's go — I've got some food prepared."

As they began walking, Aton said, "So how far is this place?" "However far you think it is," said the man. The man lifted his hand and a ginormous mansion lifted above the ground; there were rivers and waterfalls flowing around it. "No way — this is your house! And how'd you get it to come up like that?" said Aton. "This is it. Make yourself at home," said the man. "Oh yeah — what's your name again?" said Aton. "It's Neil," said the man. "I'm Aton," said Aton. "I know your name — I've heard a lot about you," said Neil. "Really?" Aton asked as he admired the waterfall. As he looked closer he could see someone sitting on a rock beside it; it was a girl, and she was beautiful.
