INT. ATON'S BEDROOM – NIGHT
Dark. Silent. The faint hum of a computer screen is the only light in the room.
Aten (12), wide-eyed and nervous, crouches in the shadows beside his bed. He holds a flimsy toy dagger — clearly not meant for real danger.
He peeks under the bed.
Nothing.
Suddenly — THUMP! THUMP! A heartbeat-like pounding under the bed frame.
ATON flinches back, terrified.
He looks again... a small white, round object rolls out across the floor.
Curious, he crawls forward — picks it up —
— It's his sister SARA'S HEAD, eyes open, staring blankly at him.
ATON
(whispers)
Sara...?
Sara's mouth twists into a grin.
Her severed head laughs, a disturbing childish giggle.
A long, cold hand shoots out from beneath the bed and GRABS Aton's ankle.
Aton SCREAMS—
He is yanked forward —

INT. HOUSE – NIGHT (FLASHBACK)
Aton cowers behind a couch.
His parents fight violently across the room — pushing, screaming, breaking things.
A young SARA (10) stands helplessly — crying.
Aton covers his ears. The sound distorts into monstrous roars.

INT. ATON'S BEDROOM – NIGHT
Aton thrashes, claws at the carpet — but another hand grabs him. Then another.
Dark figures drag him under the bed into pitch-black darkness—
Scene 2 — "Something Under the Bed"

INT. SARA'S ROOM – NIGHT
Aton bursts into the room, panicked.
Emily (14) rushes in behind him.
EMILY
Aton, what is wrong with—
She freezes.
Sara's severed head lies on the floor — staring at them.
A towering DEMON (9 feet tall, twisted green skin, fanged grin) crouches beneath the bed, slowly rising.
Emily SCREAMS.
DEMON
(growling)
Where's... the boy...
The parents rush in — confused.
DAD
What the hell—
The demon SNAPS its jaws around Dad's head — rips it clean off.
Mom SHRIEKS — scrambled backward.
MOM
Stay away! Stay away from them!
DEMON
We want... the boy.
Its tongue spears straight through her chest.
She drops — dead.
Aton and Emily sprint for the front door.

Scene 3 — "Betrayal"
INT. HOUSE – FRONT DOOR – NIGHT
Emily yanks at the doorknob. Locked.
The lights flicker off.
A WOMAN'S VOICE starts singing a twisted lullaby.
WOMAN (O.S.)
We came for him...
She appears — floating — eyes like black voids.
Emily turns on Aton — full rage.
EMILY
This is YOUR fault!
Mom... Dad... SARA!
She shoves him to the floor — grabs a pocket knife — stabs him.
The knife bends. Snaps.
Aton looks confused — unharmed.
Emily keeps stabbing — sobbing hysterically.

Scene 4 — "The Stranger"
The front door EXPLODES open.
A mysterious MAN (early 30s, black coat) stands in the doorway.
He grabs Emily's arm — stopping her.
MAN
Hey. Stop. You're safe now.
Emily collapses, broken.

Aton trembling in the doorway — the woman vanishes.

Scene 5 — "Letter in the Morning"
INT. ATON'S ROOM – MORNING
Aton wakes to a letter:
"I'm sorry. I can't stay.
We'll meet again someday.
—Emily"
He rushes outside.
The man waits calmly.
ATON
(crying)
Where is she?!
MAN
She made her choice.
Let her be.
He places a hand on Aton's shoulder.
MAN
Let's go home.

EXT. FOREST MANSION – DAY
The man lifts his hand — reality bends.
A massive MANSION rises from the earth — waterfalls surrounding it.
ATON
(stunned)
...no way.
MAN
Welcome home.
Call me Neil.
