Chapter 6 - [6]: You Again, Kid?

"Do it?"

"Hahaha!"

"Nami, what exactly are you planning to do?"

"Go on, let me hear it!"

Yodel strutted into the clinic, swaggering as though he owned the place, confidence dripping from every step.

However

The next instant, his face froze.

Right there inside the clinic stood Loshue.

Yodel's eyes widened like saucers. "What the ? Did I just see a ghost in broad daylight?" He rubbed his eyes hard, muttering to himself, "Guess I'm still too weak… I must be hallucinating."

He shook his head, trying to clear his vision, and kept walking toward Nami.

"We sure have some fate between us, huh?"

"Long time no see," Loshue said casually, greeting him as though they were old acquaintances.

Thud!

That familiar voice hit Yodel like a thunderclap. His heart skipped a beat as he stumbled back several steps, jumping nearly two meters away.

"Crap! That's… that's not an illusion!"

Cold sweat poured down his face. His legs trembled uncontrollably as the horrifying memory of the last time in the clinic came rushing back.

"You you! Why are you here?" Yodel stammered, eyes wide in panic. Then his gaze darted to Nami, and his tone turned sharp and accusing.

"So that's it! Nami, you traitor! You brought him here, didn't you?"

"You dare bring an outsider onto the island without permission? When Captain Arlong hears about this, you're done for!"

Yodel's fury flared as he pointed at her and spat his words out like venom.

"Seems like I went too easy on you last time when I cut out your kidney," Loshue said, voice calm but carrying a cold undertone.

He stepped forward slowly, his eyes glinting with mockery.

Honestly, he didn't understand it how tough were the people in this world supposed to be?

He'd taken out this guy's kidney twice, and Yodel was still standing, talking like nothing had happened.

"Loshue! I it's not what you think!" Yodel's lips trembled as he stumbled backward. "It's her! Nami's the thief! Don't let her fool you!"

Loshue raised an eyebrow, unfazed. "Oh? I see."

His eyes fell to Yodel's side, where a crudely stitched scar ran along his waist. "So you put it back in, huh?"

He tilted his head, voice turning icy. "Did I say you could?"

With a swift motion, faster than the eye could follow, Loshue's hands flashed.

Slice!

Twin blades of motion cut through the air.

Yodel didn't even have time to scream before he felt it his body twisting in agony as his kidney was once again removed.

The pain was unbearable.

He hit the floor, convulsing, his screams echoing through the clinic.

"Sorry, old man," Loshue said, glancing at the trembling village doctor, Nako. "Didn't mean to stain your floor."

Nako swallowed hard, his face pale as a sheet. "N-no problem…"

He was completely stunned.

Moments ago, this same man had been saving lives now he was casually performing a second kidney extraction without breaking a sweat.

Even the other villagers in the room looked horrified. Was this really the same gentle doctor who'd healed them earlier?

Only Nami managed to stay relatively composed. After all, she'd already witnessed Loshue's methods before.

Loshue turned to her, voice steady. "If I do this, how much bounty are you willing to offer?"

Nami hesitated, her mind racing. After a long moment, she clenched her fists and said firmly, "One hundred million Berries!"

That was the sum she'd been saving for years the amount Arlong demanded to buy back her village's freedom.

But deep down, she knew. Even if she handed over every last coin, Arlong would never keep his word.

To him, she was nothing more than a walking treasure chest a tool to be drained dry.

Yet she had no choice but to cling to that sliver of hope.

Now, though, with Loshue standing before her calm, confident, unstoppable something inside her shifted.

If he could really bring Arlong down… maybe the village could finally be free.

"Good," Loshue replied with a grin. "It's a deal."

One hundred million Berries, plus Arlong's own twenty million bounty it was a fine reward for one night's work.

Yodel, writhing on the ground, forced out a few words between pained gasps. "A hundred million…? What are you two… planning to do?"

Loshue smiled faintly and pointed toward the door. "Go tell your captain…"

"His death date is today."

...

Three hours later.

Inside Arlong's stronghold, the mood was tense.

The fishman captain sat on his throne-like chair, arms crossed, eyes glinting coldly beneath his sharp brow ridge.

Beside him, his lieutenants Kuroobi and Chu lounged lazily on a sofa.

"Hmph! How long does it take Yodel to handle one simple errand?" Arlong grunted, his serrated teeth bared in irritation.

"These East Blue recruits are worthless."

"Forget him, Captain," Chu said with a snicker. "That guy's already useless anyway. Let's just go deal with that so-called doctor instead."

"It's been too long since we raided anyone properly. Might as well start with him."

"I heard he's got quite the stash of treasure from his medical work," Kuroobi added, his tone greedy.

At that, Arlong's scowl softened into a smirk. "Treasure, huh? Then he's not getting away."

"Boss! Boss Arlong!"

A panicked voice echoed from outside before a figure burst through the doorway Yodel, stumbling in, drenched in sweat and half delirious.

"Yodel?" Arlong frowned. "What the hell happened to you now?"

Then he noticed the mangled stitches on Yodel's side and narrowed his eyes. "Your… parts are missing again? What kind of circus are you running out there?"

"And where's Nami? Why didn't you bring her back?"

Yodel fell to his knees with a sliding thud, gasping. "Captain Arlong… it's bad! He's coming Loshue, the one who took my kidney!"

"He said…" Yodel's voice quivered as he looked up in terror.

"He said today… is the day you die!"
