'Oh, so the system is from this universe, not part of my wishes,' he realized, glancing over his status screen. The system couldn't properly read his full capabilities. To it, his power level appeared to peak at the solar system tier, but that couldn't have been further from the truth.
In reality, the system simply wasn't capable of measuring him. No matter how hard it tried to analyze his body, it couldn't comprehend the depth of his energy or speed. Its readings barely scratched the surface, mistaking his immeasurable strength for something far more limited.
Then, suddenly, more notifications began to appear before his eyes:
[Due to the host's high luck, the system has evolved into the A-tier Super Luck System.]
[Due to the host's luck, the system has evolved into the SSS-tier Godly Luck System.]

'I wonder how lucky I really am…' he thought, stepping outside for a walk. He wanted to test his luck—to see what kind of changes this so-called system had brought him. His wallet was nearly empty, and a small part of him hoped that maybe, by chance, something fortunate would happen. Even a little miracle would be nice.
Meanwhile, in Limo, an old man sat silently with his eyes closed, his breathing slow and controlled. He was resting his mind, preparing himself for the meeting that awaited him. His daughter, who had grown used to these moments, stayed quiet and didn't disturb him, understanding how much this meeting meant.
Unlike her father, the daughter was a blonde-haired girl in her mid-20s; she was beautiful, even when she had armor, which was light for a high-speed moment; it did little to lower her beauty and instead increased it.
Since the world's collapse a few years ago, humanity's numbers have fallen drastically. Out of the countless billions that once lived, only about one billion remained. It was a fragile existence, and every decision made by people like the old man could shape what little was left of civilization.
To make matters worse, humanity had made a discovery that changed everything they thought they knew about existence. There weren't just other universes or multiverses—there were at least 2 higher dimensions beyond the multiverse itself. Each one was infinitely greater in scale and complexity than the dimension before it.
For instance, using the space-time radar humanity had managed to build after years of research, they not only succeeded in mapping out the entire multiverse but also detected traces of the fourth dimension. That breakthrough had been both a triumph and a terror.
From their readings, one fact became undeniable—an infinite number of multiverses combined still couldn't rival even the smallest fraction of the fourth dimension's vastness. It was a discovery that humbled even the most powerful minds alive and reminded everyone just how small their existence truly was.
It didn't help that the information gathered from the Tower only made things worse. According to the data, beings from the fourth dimension had laid claim to countless universes, treating them as territory or playthings. At times, they would even destroy entire universes simply because something within them displeased them.
In fact, the very structure of the Tower itself was said to be composed of those destroyed universes—worlds erased and drawn into it, stacked upon each other like broken remnants of creation.
Because of that, humanity wasn't just dealing with the chaos of the multiverse anymore—they were also under the shadow of the fourth dimension's existence. And to make it even more complicated, the multiverse wasn't just a simple collection of infinite universes connected by timelines or alternate realities. Each universe was completely unique, distinct from the others, with its own rules, races, and forms of life.
For example, the universe that had collided with theirs was later titled the Goblin Universe. The reason was simple—the monsters that invaded their world were small, vicious creatures that resembled goblins. Though primitive in appearance and lacking intelligence at first, these monsters possessed a terrifying trait: they could evolve and adapt at incredible speed. Within months, they had managed to rival human technology, pushing humanity to its absolute limit and forcing the universe itself to intervene and empower its people.
What made this all the more remarkable was that these goblins already wielded something humanity had never known—mana. Their universe had been born with it, while humanity only gained access to mana after receiving the universe's gift. In other words, humans had fought and initially won against an entire mana-using universe with none of their own.
But that victory didn't last. The goblins learned too quickly, adapting not only to human tactics but also to their inventions. They didn't just recreate human weapons—they improved them, combining technology with mana in ways that soon turned the tide of battle.
Boom
Suddenly, a powerful explosion erupted outside, shaking the ground beneath them. The limo was thrown violently into the air, spinning out of control for a brief moment before a surge of fire burst from its underside. The blast of flames stabilized the vehicle midair, its reinforced frame holding together as it shot upward toward the sky.
"Vice President! We're under attack—it looks like the Goblin Worshipers!" the driver shouted from the front, his voice tense but steady.
The Vice President and his daughter quickly turned toward the window, eyes widening at the sight outside. A group of armed individuals was closing in fast, each one riding a sleek hover-bike that left faint trails of energy in the air. They surrounded the limo from every direction, weapons locked and ready to fire. Every one of them wore the same mask—a twisted goblin face etched with an eerie, permanent smile that seemed almost alive.
"This is bad—we can't call for backup. How did they even find us?" the driver said through gritted teeth, struggling to keep the limo steady as it sped through the air. They had left in complete secrecy, taking every precaution to avoid drawing attention, yet somehow this group had tracked them down. For the Goblin Worshipers to locate them so precisely and launch an ambush was no small matter.
And this wasn't just any target. The man in the back seat wasn't the Vice President of the United States or some government figure—he was the Vice President of the Lightning God Guild, one of the top twenty-five most powerful guilds in the entire country.
The driver quickly activated the limo's built-in defense systems. Hidden compartments slid open along the sides of the vehicle, and a barrage of energy blasts and missiles shot outward, striking several of the masked attackers. A few of them were hit directly, their hover-bikes erupting into flames before crashing out of sight. But the success was short-lived.
The attackers retaliated immediately, and within seconds, multiple weapons on the limo were destroyed. Explosions rippled across its armored frame, rocking the vehicle violently. Despite the chaos, the limo's reinforced design held strong—it was built to endure the impossible. Even if a nuclear bomb were dropped nearby, it could still drive away, though barely.
But enduring while under constant fire from every direction was another story. The relentless barrage from the masked riders tore through its defenses, each blast chipping away at its armor until the inevitable happened—the engines gave out, and the vehicle began to plummet toward the ground.
Without hesitation, the Vice President pushed open the door and leaped out. His daughter reacted instantly, wrapping her arm around him as arcs of lightning sparked across her body. Using her power, she slowed their fall, the energy surrounding them crackling as she guided them safely through the air while the burning limo descended below.
With a flash of light, she transformed into a bolt of lightning and shot through the sky, carrying her father with her. The masked men followed instantly, their hover-bikes roaring as they gave chase. Beams of energy and bullets filled the air around her in a storm of weapon fire. She moved at blinding speed, weaving through the barrage while doing everything she could to shield her father from harm.
