Chapter 3 - When Angels Fall

Stacy couldn't believe it. She was so ashamed of herself and just embarrassed. How could she have such thoughts about a man? Years ago Stacy focused solely on her her education. Trivial matters such as boys and dating were a distraction that could hinder her from reaching her goals.

Yet, here she was on her 18th birthday wondering aimlessly through this garden. Shouldn't she be enjoying herself? But she didn't know these people who were fake celebrating her birthday. Stacy suddenly stopped. This has never occurred her, she was so busy planning her future that she missed all the signs.

Why would a bunch of people she never met attend a grand birthday party? Suddenly so many things didn't make sense. When her mother introduced her to these people they all bowed. Stacy knew bowing was a of respect, but why would someone she never met respect her so much as to bow?

Stacy focused on the names of some of the people she met. There were George and Vivian from Montana, Richard and Lizzie from North Dakota, Adam and Bella from Washington...the names started swirling around. There were just so many, but there was one name she never got to know. That handsome man standing at the bar.

Her heart fluttered as she recollected his black hair that made her fingers tremble thinking about her hands becoming entangled in those luscious locks. Those deep blue eyes, it was so easy to imagine looking into those eyes while they....ENOUGH! Stacy shouted to herself. She needed to focus on the bigger picture.

The pain in her chest surprised her when she forced herself to stop thinking about it. The pain was so intense she thought she might throw up, she missed him so much. Missed him? What the hell? How could she miss someone she never met?!

Stacy tried to still herself. Forcing her body to take big deep breaths. It only took a few seconds to calm her heart. He probably has a girlfriend anyway. Girlfriend?! How dare he? Who does he think he is? " Let me find who she is. I will beat her ass to a pulp!"...whoa!

Stacy stopped that jealous emotion in its track. She had no right to feel so possessive over someone that she has never met. The swirl of emotions were getting out of control. This was unusual for her, she practiced mindfulness and yoga to help her maintain good mental and physical health.

Confusion set in. Why was she all over the place? Why did this whole birthday party seem weird with undertones of suspiciousness? Why was she drooling over a guy, especially one she's never met? Nothing made sense anymore.

Stacy looked up to to realize she was standing at the edge of the forest. She turned around quickly and she could still see The Pack Ten beyond the garden. The garden was littered with the sillouettes of people and confirmed with herself that she would be safe in the forest. She gently took off her shoes and entered the forest longing for the serenity it brings.

Aahh! The tension in her body released as if a 100 lb weight had been removed. The next step relieves all the tension in her mind, she sighed with relief. As she took each step the more relaxed she became. It felt so good to her. As she walked the ferns kissed her legs as if worshipping her, the leaves welcomed her brushing against her cheeks as if they were trying to get closer. The forest was coming alive at her presence.

Stacy had never entered the forest near her home. She usually sat on the patio and watched her dance of shadows from there. Her mother absolutely forbid it. Claimed it wasn't safe, she even made Stacy watch the murder investigation shows where children would go missing in the forests. However, she felt safe.

The feelings of safety and love enveloped her heart and it was a calming peace that she never felt before. Stacy came up on a small clearing, no more that than 4 ft wide. The Earth's floor was blanketed in a deep green moss inviting her to take a nap. She knew that lying there would give her a deep and restless sleep.

As she stepped into the moss she sighed dreamily. It felt so good between her toes. When she looked down at her feet, she was ...shocked. Silver dust was covering her feet, as it crept higher soft silver ribbons climbed into her legs. Panic struck in and she tried to move. Damn it, her mom was right, she shouldn't be here.

A soft gentle voice filled her head " Ssh child, everything will be ok" What was that accent? Scottish, Irish, maybe Welsh? "What's happening?" Stacy asked. As the ribbons of silver snaked around her body, the fear melted away. It was like a warm mother's embrace and it felt...good"

" I have frozen time girl, we must make haste. I have many titles Mother, Guardian, Queen, child of the first Moonrise but they are irrelevant right now. You may call me Mother Rhiannon. I am here to give you my blessing and to guide you the hardships and betrayal approaching soon. I can not interfere directly in the path ahead but I can give you my blessing and guidance. Morrigan has forbidden me from revealing too much because this is your burden and your fate alone. Here are my words of guidance: what you see is not what it seems, what is real will cause you feel, what is wrong can not be made right, and what is right is never wrong. Trust yourself and prove to be true, be wary of the red and love the blue. Here is my blessing. Now WAKE!"

Stacy's eyes flew open and she could feel herself falling. Bracing for impact she anticipated landing hard on the earth but she landed in the arms of a man. Stunned she looked into the eyes of the man who caught her. It's him!! A voice squeeled in her head. Whoa, that definitely was not her voice.

As she looked into those blue eyes she felt more than butterflies in her tummy. It was an inexplicable pull of love, desire, empathy, strength, happiness, belonging and so many many other feelings. As his face inches closer to hers she managed to whimper "Who are you?"

" Angel, I'm Colt" and his lips collapsed onto to hers and immediately Stacy melted. The feeling of desire rose to the surface as his tongue penetrated her mouth. "Mmm" she groaned as the taste of coconut slid across her taste buds. Damn, he tasted so good. "Mine" that voice sighed in her again and she agreed. "MINE".

Stacy reached up and grabbed his hair to pull him closer and he growled. Damn, that's so sexy. She felt a moan escape her lips as his hand touched her thigh and gently massaged. Another moan escaped as it felt like lightning against her skin following his hand.

Her heart was beating faster and faster, she felt something in her chest that was begging to be released. Stacy's breathing grew heavier as he made his way up her thigh. She couldn't get enough of him. Is it even possible to have and orgasm from only kissing? Then his thumb grazed over most intimate area and OH! The lightening hit her clit and her eyes rolled back as the orgasm hit her and stars danced behind her eyelids. She could feel his smile between his kisses. His thumb hooked under her panties and...

"Wait!" Stacy stopped him. As she was gasping her breath, trying to compose herself she managed to say "I don't know you" She felt his breath on her neck "Can't you feel that baby, you can't deny the sparks". No, no she couldn't. He pulled back and looked into her eyes, curious "what's wrong?"

Stacy could feel herself blush and she contemplating making something up, but she always valued honesty. "My first time is supposed to be someone I love and trust completely and totally" he looked at her quizzically and asked "but you feel the sparks right?" His brow furrowed and she could feel the pain she caused him.

Stacy touched his face, something in her wanted to comfort him "of course I feel sparks, but I still don't know you". He stood up abruptly "are you rejecting me?!" He growled. "No! No! That's not it. Who in their right mind reject a... delectable man like you!"

Colts face softened and he reached for her folding her into an embrace. He sighed as he nuzzled her hair. "I am Colt Myers, future Alpha of the Thunder Heart Clan, general of the Northern Army" Stacy snapped her head to look at him "Are you serious right now?"

"Absolutely." He reached his hand to her cheek and caressed her cheek bone and said " now please, let me claim my lost princess".

He knew her and she was pissed. She doesn't like games and he was playing with the wrong girl. Stacy bit the palm of his hand and pushed him away. She shot up from where they were sitting.

"Who the fuck do you think you are! Alpha of a pack?! What does that even mean? Let me tell you something Colt Myers, I'm not a girl who likes to play games and clearly you've been waiting to play this little game for a long time. It took me years actual fucking years to heal from that shit, and you bring it up. I will not let you hurt me. I'm not your fucking lost princess and you ain't claiming shit!" Then she turned and ran towards the ballroom with tears streaming down her face. "But that's not what he meant, you just ca-" Stacy yelled out loud " Shut the fuck up!"
