Chapter 4 - The Unbelievable Uchiha Madara!

When Lin Xuan saw Madara's hands begin to weave seals, his heart skipped a beat. He suddenly remembered—if the reincarnated subject knew the Impure World Reincarnation release sequence, they could cancel the summoner's control on their own.

In the original Naruto, Uchiha Madara had done exactly that, forcibly freeing himself from the Impure World Reincarnation binding.

Lin Xuan's expression changed, and he hastily asked in his mind,

"System, he's not going to break free from my control, is he?"

"Host, please rest assured," the system replied evenly. "The Transdimensional Impure World Reincarnation does not have that flaw. As long as the Host wills it, you can completely control any individual you reincarnate."

Hearing that, Lin Xuan finally let out a breath of relief.

But then the system added,

"However, the host should note that forced control has a time limit—one day. If the reincarnated being willingly serves you, there is no such restriction. As long as the sacrifice's life force remains, the reincarnated entity will continue to exist."

Lin Xuan frowned.

"So that means… I can only directly control Madara for one day?"

That wasn't much time. He couldn't afford to waste a single second. He needed to use Madara to eliminate danger and rack up as many Prestige Points as possible before the day ended.

Meanwhile, Madara himself had realized something was wrong. No matter how many hand signs he formed, he couldn't break the technique's hold. His face darkened.

Lin Xuan couldn't help but laugh aloud. "What's the matter? Weren't you just boasting about how powerful you are? Go on, break the technique if you can!"

Madara's expression turned cold. His scarlet eyes snapped open wide—

Genjutsu, activate!

He attempted to ensnare Lin Xuan's mind with genjutsu, forcing him to lift the control.

But moments later, Madara froze.

His genjutsu—failed. Completely ineffective.

"How… how is this possible?!"

His disbelief was almost comical. He was Uchiha Madara, the master of genjutsu—yet his technique couldn't influence a frail human with no chakra at all?

Even if this reincarnated body was weaker because of a low-quality sacrifice, this shouldn't be happening!

Lin Xuan, guessing exactly what Madara was thinking, smiled even wider.

He realized he loved this—seeing arrogant, overpowered legends like Madara Uchiha baffled and powerless before him. It was… delightful.

"Hahaha, stop trying," Lin Xuan chuckled. "Forget normal genjutsu—even if you cast Infinite Tsukuyomi, it wouldn't touch me! I'm the one who summoned you into this world. Even if I'm just a normal human here, to you… I'm absolute."

"You… you know about Infinite Tsukuyomi?!"

Madara's pupils contracted violently, and his tone turned sharp. "Who are you? How do you know so much? What is this world? What are you planning?!"

"You're asking too many questions at once. How am I supposed to answer all that?" Lin Xuan said, shrugging nonchalantly.

At that moment, he noticed the guards outside—who'd been frozen in fear during the summoning—finally coming back to their senses and heading toward the cell.

"Hey! Kid, what the hell did you just do?!"

"Where's Whale? What happened to him?!"

"I'm warning you—your slave collar can explode at any time! If you resist, you're dead meat!"

A group of guards barked threats, looking vicious and ready to pounce.

Lin Xuan frowned in annoyance and thought, Control Madara.

Meanwhile, Silvers Rayleigh had been silently observing everything. The way this red-armored man appeared out of nowhere was too strange.

The man radiated immense power—but there was something wrong with him. Beneath that overwhelming aura, there was also a faint, decaying presence… as if he wasn't truly alive.

Rayleigh couldn't make sense of it. From their exchange, he could tell these two weren't on friendly terms. That armored man—Madara, was it?—had even tried to attack Lin Xuan.

Before Rayleigh could piece together what was happening, more people arrived.

The new arrivals weren't just guards—there was also a well-dressed man at their head. Rayleigh recognized him immediately: Roya, one of the main overseers of the slave auction house.

"What's going on here? Why isn't that one wearing his collar or shackles?!" Roya barked as he strode forward.

"Lord Roya—"

The guards stammered, unable to explain what they had just witnessed. One of them stepped forward to speak, trying to block Roya's path—

But before he could finish, Uchiha Madara suddenly turned his head.

Those crimson eyes gleamed coldly, the three-tomoe Sharingan spinning into motion.

genjutsu.

Instantly, the men approaching—including Roya—stiffened in place. Their expressions went blank, their movements froze.

Rayleigh's eyes widened.

"What the…?"

Then something even stranger happened.

Thud!

One after another, the guards and Roya dropped to their knees with dull thumps, bowing low before Lin Xuan and Madara.

The dungeon fell utterly silent.

Every slave watching—from the nearest cage to the farthest corner—was completely stunned.
