Chapter 104 - Chapter 106: Hell Stab - The Strongest Spear

"Danger, extreme danger."

The moment the wind element was added to the Wind Release: Rasengan, every hair on the Third Raikage's body stood on end.

"Damn it, it's clearly the same ninjutsu as before, but why does it feel so dangerous? What did that kid add to the jutsu to increase its power so much?"

"If my Hidden Cloud Village could obtain such a secret technique, we might be able to destroy the other four great nations and establish the supremacy of the Land of Lightning."

Seeing the Rasenshuriken in Minato's hands, the Third Raikage's heart sank, and he was even more eager to know its secret.

But he knew it was impossible. He couldn't capture his opponent at all. Even capturing those two people as hostages wouldn't work.

With the opponent's Space-Time Ninjutsu, he could take those two girls and leave before they could even act.

Damn it, it seems I need to research a way to counter Space-Time Ninjutsu, otherwise, we'll be too passive.

The Third Raikage watched the young man opposite him with full concentration, determined not to be hit by that Wind Release jutsu. His intuition told him it was extremely dangerous.

A golden flash, and Minato appeared in front of the Third Raikage. But just as he was about to slam the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken in his hand onto his opponent...

A flash of lightning, and the Third Raikage vanished from before Minato's eyes, reappearing in another spot.

"Boom!"

Having lost its target, the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken was slammed into the ground by Minato. With a golden flash, Minato escaped, and then a violent energy swept out in all directions.

"Kid, although you can appear before me in the blink of an eye, when I focus my mind, even if you appear right in front of me, I have enough time to dodge before your ninjutsu hits."

The Third Raikage grinned, full of confidence.

But that was only on the surface. Inwardly, he was screaming curses. He was now relying on speed; his "Strongest Shield" was useless against this opponent.

His pride and joy, the "Strongest Attack," was useless if it couldn't hit the target. Unless he clashed head-on, it would surely miss against the opponent's Space-Time Ninjutsu.

"If you keep dodging like this, we'll never be able to determine a winner."

Who doesn't know how to taunt? I can do it too.

"Don't be so arrogant! Let me show you my Strongest Spear!"

Sure enough, the short-tempered Third Raikage couldn't stand being provoked by Minato. He extended four fingers, his entire body flickering with Lightning Release Chakra, deciding to clash head-on with Hell Stab: Four-Fingered Thrust.

Being taunted by someone younger than his own son, how could he endure it?

Seeing the Third Raikage's move, Minato naturally knew the old man couldn't take the provocation and had decided to clash head-on.

A Wind Release: Rasenshuriken formed instantly, and the wind element was added.

The two's ninjutsu formed at the same time. After a final glance at each other, they both charged forward.

"Zzzzzzt."

The Hell Stab: Four-Fingered Thrust and the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken were locked in a stalemate the moment they collided.

"Aaaargh! I cannot lose! I am the strongest, the Third Raikage!"

The Third Raikage couldn't accept the stalemate. His Lightning Release Chakra surged once more, and his Four-Fingered Thrust changed from four fingers to three, becoming the Three-Fingered Thrust.

"It's not enough! I need more, greater power! Roar, Hell Stab!"

Seeing the Three-Fingered Thrust and the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken still deadlocked, the Third Raikage continued to increase his power output, changing from the Three-Fingered Thrust to the Two-Fingered Thrust.

"Damn it, the old man's attack power keeps getting stronger. I didn't know the Hell Stab could be used like this."

As the Hell Stab changed to the Two-Fingered Thrust, Minato felt he was starting to be unable to hold on.

The Wind Release: Rasenshuriken was on the verge of collapsing.

"Kid, let me show you my Strongest Spear! Thrust, One-Fingered Thrust!"

When the Third Raikage's fingers became one, Minato instantly sensed trouble and flickered away from his spot.

Deprived of Minato's power source, the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken was directly pierced by the One-Fingered Thrust. A massive amount of energy exploded, but its power was diminished.

After all, its greatest power had been destroyed by the Third Raikage's One-Fingered Thrust, and the remaining force was negligible.

"Kid, weren't you arrogant just now? Dodging at the last moment? Weren't you going to clash head-on?"

The Third Raikage, shrouded in his Lightning Release Chakra Mode, looked fiercely at Minato and then grinned. He had won this round.

"This old geezer is really something else. How old are you? Are you happy you won against me? You only barely won. Don't forget I'm not the same age as you."

"Believe it or not, in a few more years, when I'm the same age as your son, I'll be able to wipe the floor with you."

Don't lose the argument even if you lose the fight. Minato couldn't let the taunt go unanswered. Youth was his greatest asset.

In a few years, once I've developed my techniques a bit more and my strength reaches your level, do you think I won't be able to crush you?

"Hmph."

The Third Raikage snorted coldly and didn't argue. How could he not know that the yellow-haired brat's words were true?

Only by fighting him personally did the Third Raikage realize just how monstrous this kid was.

Damn those spies! Konoha has such a genius, and they're all useless, they didn't discover a thing.

If I had known earlier how monstrous this kid was, I would have killed him first, even at the cost of my own life.

Now it's too late. The kid has already grown strong. Killing him is no longer possible.

Perhaps in the future, Konoha will have another figure like Hashirama Senju, and all the great nations will have to tremble in his shadow.

He wished he could recall all those spies and crush them one by one. A bunch of idiots, completely incompetent.

The two of them didn't continue their verbal sparring, because they knew that neither could do anything to the other right now.

Minato's strength was several levels lower than his opponent's, and the Raikage was the tough, durable type. Without adding the wind element, he couldn't break through that defense at all.

Even with the wind element added, his opponent could still dodge. In the head-on clash just now, he hadn't gained any advantage and was, in fact, at a disadvantage.

It was the same for the Third Raikage. Although he was stronger than Minato, all his techniques were powerless against Space-Time Ninjutsu.
