Chapter 2 - Ch.001 MC

Grrr! Grrr!

The sound of the bell was heard across the whole school floor, this signifies the lunch period in Melville high school.

Melville high school is an institute where children whose parents are rich and influential in their society attend, all for their great academic performance.

But something's never change. That is the atrocities being committed by rich people's sons and daughters.

There are two things they do quite well without expending much effort, 1) belittling the ordinary student, 2) contemptuously looking at them.

The belittling doesn't go down to only looking down on them.

Bullying, this is one most interesting games the rich kids find exhilarating feelings and joy in.

This has caused so many cases of these ordinary students committing murder.

***

In this case, there is a particular student who goes by the name Joshua Stephen.

Stephens' family did all of their best to give their child the feeling they never felt when they were young.

They lived a life of wretchedness; therefore they strived hard to send Joshua to a popular institution, so he can graduate and live a good life.

***

Students began to flood out of their class. The hall began to get occupied as students began to move to and fro, some discussing, while some going to the back of the school to take one or two puffs before going back into their classroom.

Joshua was one who always prioritize reading martial arts books over really studying but still focuses on his studies, he would rather not make the effort of his parents to go futile.

At the sound of the bell, Joshua brought out the pad his dad got for him when he gained admission into this great school.

He removed it gently, his friend sitting by his side knew what he was about to do.

Sam got closer to him, he was someone who loved to involve himself in acrobatics exercises, to the extent of even being an orange belt owner in karate.

Although, he was inferior in grasping things relating to Martial arts faster compared to his friend.

"Whose match are you planning to watch today because you rarely bring your pad to school," Sam asked, focusing on Joshua as he heard the bell rang on the phone, signifying the starting of the match.

Joshua paused the video and looked at Sam, "Do you know that out of the 180 types of martial arts in the world, the deadliest is Krav Maga?"

"Yeah, I know," Sam replied.

"When did you know of it?" Joshua asked because he knew Sam had never had any interest in other types of martial art except karate.

"Well, just now," He replied while chuckling.

"Now I know why we are friends." They both burst out laughing.

[Get ready to watch a deadly match between the two most talented fighters in the art Krav Maga!] The reporter hyped.

The two opponents stood opposite each other as they glared intently at each other.

"The short guy with abs is going to win the match," Sam declared, "He is the best I've ever seen, he never misses a chance to take a chance," He continued staring at the tab screen until the match was finally over.

"As expected, you are the best I've seen at making zero mistakes while discerning a match," Sam said running Joshua's hair, "I'll be going to the school cafeteria I need to fill my belle".

Joshua didn't even mind what Sam said because, that was the true nature of his friend… Food! He never for once, youjoked with his stomach.

He kept his pad back inside his bag and brought out a manual that explains different forms of martial arts, Joshua never gets tired of reading the book because that would be the 99th time reading the book's content.

"Hey everyone, look at what this freak is doing, reading a martial arts book, who the hell does that in this century?"

Hahaha, the guy buddies all began to laugh as they mocked Joshua.

"Meet me at the back of the school… you wit, do you understand?" The guy asked mockingly.

Lord not again! What exactly have I done to this folks treating me like this, Joshua began to think, what he had done wrong and why he had been a target of a bully. Only if he could exploit their bodies with his abundance of knowledge of Martial arts, but he was suffering from a peripheral artery disease which he could not treat since the parents could barely put food on the table and pay for his tuition fee.

One funny thing was, no matter how many times he reports them to the teachers, they always act in favor of the rich kids. Well, who would be willing to risk his or her career over a nobody?

"Yeah, and don't forget to buy a popsicle and a Pepsi when coming… hahaha".

Hehe-hehe.

Joshua closed his books and began to walk out of the class but was held back by their classroom captain.

"You shouldn't be moving around in your present condition," The classroom captain said while looking at Joshua's leg.

Joshua tapped her hands off, just leave me alone, he said… "You are all the same".

He limped out of the class holding unto his walking stick, leaving the classroom captain wondering what she had done wrong to receive that kind of treatment.

The only thing Joshua prayed for not to happen was to not get beaten by his beautiful crush, Morgan.

Morgan had always been a silent girl in the class, she was an existence most kids in the class rarely knew.

Getting to the back of the school, Joshua saw the gang of bullies as they all gathered around, some even squatting as they stared at him heading towards them.

"The way he walks isn't it funny" The head of the bully said.

They all laughed as the limping Joshua walked towards them.

"Where is the stuff I asked you to get".

Joshua stretched forth the Pepsi and popsicle. Despite all the pressure he was out through, Joshua never, for once, falter from the hope of things changing very soon.

Well, what should we do for our obedient junkshua, he spoiled name.

"My name is Joshua Stephen, Joshua corrected them," He almost glared at them, but he held back because it might result in problems he cannot face.

What! He even dared to correct me, I think his reward had been determined.

Beat him up, the bully head shouted.

They began to trash and beat up Joshua, but he wasn't really faced by the beaten because it had become a daily meal for him.

You guys should stop, can you not see he is not moved by that level of beating, why don't we spice things up a little today?

The head bully got closer, took his walking stick and began to hit it so hard on Joshua's left leg.

Argh, Joshua screamed out so loud, the pain was really unbearable. The numbness feeling in his leg began to precede.

"Please not the leg! I beg of you", Joshua screamed at the top of his voice, but they turned a deaf ear and continued trashing his leg.

Fortunately for him, the bell rang.

What a break of show, the bell rang when we were about to start having the Main fun…. "Fuck! We need to deal with the guy in charge of the bell, let go guys".

That's my transport fare, please don't take it

The guy glared at him and walked away, leaving Joshua with his mouth shut.

"Fuck! I'm going to trek home today again, If only I don't have this leg problem". He began to curse at his luck.

He crawled up to his walking stick, standing up as he groaned in pain.

"What happened to you?" the captain asked as she saw Joshua walk into the classroom with his face swollen and bleeding from every corner of his mouth.

Morgan looked at Joshua from the corner of her eyes and felt pity for him, but did not want to intervene in someone else's life.

" Just leave me alone, I tripped while walking down the stairs," He said, walking away.

"What is wrong with him, I was merely concerned?"

He went back to his sit.

"What else do we have for today?" He asked, the only friend he had inside the whole of grahams population.

Well, I don't know, since I don't really care.

Joshua laid his head on his desk as he slept off throughout the remaining of the class.

The next bell rang, he took his bag and left the class.

As he was limping through the road.

Morgan took a glimpse of him, after contemplating, she decided to walk him a bit.

Morgan walked up to him, "Hello, you had probably know my name by now".

Joshua could not believe his eye, like he was totally mesmerized, "Yeah, Morgan, right?" He forced himself to smile.

"You did not trip, right?"

"Why ask when you know already," Joshua was busy thinking, so there is always a beautiful day after a dreadful beginning, " Wow! I really am not daydreaming".

He laughed within.

"Yeah, it looked like you were beaten up though, can you tell me about it?" Morgan said.

Joshua looked up at Morgan,"I can't tell you what It really is, I can only tell you what it feels like… It feels bad.

And when it's bad it awful, I feel so ashamed being trashed by those dudes.

Morgan laughed, you really have your ways with words, well just take care of yourself, "You don't have to change a thing, it would occur just believe".

She stopped a taxi and left, waving at Joshua.

"Was It hilarious to her? But that hurts. Well, it was a pleasure talking to her for the first time".

"Isn't that the girl boss had his eyes on?".

"Yes, that's Morgan and what's wrong with her".

"She was laughing with a limp just now".

"What?" He took a look at the guy, brought out his phone and took a snap of Joshua.

"Well, the boss is going to hear of this, how dare a limp hit on our boss lady?".
