Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Man Who Solo-Defeats the Primordial Heavenly Demon.

Chapter 1: The Man Who Solo-Defeats the Primordial Heavenly Demon.

A blue sky, bright sunshine, white clouds, and a bustling crowd.

A young boy with short blue-purple hair stood quietly on the busy street, his brow furrowed.

"What the hell is this place?"

He, Nangong Yi, a time traveler, had just recently been happily defeating bosses in the world of "Shen Bing Xiao Jiang."

Because he had traveled through time and space and became the veteran of the Divine Weapon, Nangong Yi. Knowing that the future plot would lead to trouble for the Primordial Heavenly Demon, who was irreconcilable with the Creator Goddess Nuwa, he awakened the Tianjing Beast for the sake of world peace.

Then, while Yuanshi Tianmo was weakened and hadn't yet begun to act, he attacked with the Heavenly Crystal in hand, crushing and sealing him.

However, just as he finished all this and prepared to return to Nangong City to inherit his family business, the Heavenly Crystal exploded!

And then...

"What the hell?"

Nangong Yi, about to ask for directions, suddenly realized his body had transformed into that of a child.

"Nuwa? You wouldn't play tricks on me, would you?"

To protect world peace and uphold love and justice, he even stole his future son's divine beast, traversing mountains and rivers, enduring untold hardships, and finally breaking into Yuanshi Tianmo's lair, crushing and sealing the old villain who would one day disrupt the world.

Just like that, it would be fine if he didn't give him a reward, but what the hell was going on now?

Rewarding him with rejuvenation?

But he was only twenty!

He'd toiled for over a decade, cultivating to defeat Yuanshi Tianmo and restore peace to the world!

He'd just accomplished this great feat, and now he was resetting his max-level account to zero?

  "..."

"Fuck you, at worst I can just level up again!"

A truly powerful person never complains about their circumstances.

Everything in his mind is still there, just a bit weaker.

This body, at most, is seven or eight years old.

But Nangong Wentian, at only nine, had already crushed the Heaven and Earth Alliance Leader and the Mysterious Heavenly Evil Emperor. As Nangong Wentian's destined father, how could Nangong Yi be any less impressive?

He was the man who had soloed the Primordial Heavenly Demon!

"Gululu~"

"Let's fill our bellies first."

  ...

Half an hour later, in a small noodle shop.

"Thank you, old man. When I have money, I'll treat you to a good meal."

Nangong Yi devoured the steaming hot noodle soup in front of him.

Just a few minutes ago, just as he was about to pass out from hunger, the white-bearded old man appeared before him, injected a little "internal energy" into his body, and brought him over to eat some hot noodle soup. There are still many kind people in this world.

"No need to treat me," the old man said, unconcerned with Nangong Yi's casual address of "old man."

He had just come out for some fresh air, and happened to be drawn to this child with a somewhat different aura. He looked no more than seven or eight years old, but the aura he exuded, and that look in his eyes, gave him a familiar feeling.

Sword power!

Even Chen Jianjun, who was at level ninety-seven back then, couldn't give him such a sharp feeling.

This child actually gave him a subtle sense of threat?

An illusion?

"You don't look like someone in distress, so why are you so hungry?" the old man asked in confusion.

Just now, the kid almost fainted from hunger!

"Well, actually, I'm not that hungry. It's just that I have low blood sugar, and sometimes I have some exaggerated reactions," Nangong Yi said awkwardly.

Perhaps he over-exerted himself in martial arts training as a child, and he inexplicably developed low blood sugar.

When the attack occurred, his eyes went black and he passed out, unable to react at all.

Before, he could still rely on the powerful internal energy gained from years of martial arts training, but now, his account was cleared, why did this little problem still exist?

"Low blood sugar?" The old man was stunned.

"What do you mean?"

"It means you're prone to fainting when you're hungry." Nangong Yi explained.

Just now, when he looked at the buildings here, they didn't belong to the Jade Island Kingdom or the Jade Dragon Kingdom. Furthermore, the old man in front of him felt very dangerous.

Although he was only a child now, someone who could intimidate him couldn't be an ordinary person.

"You seem unfamiliar with this place. Aren't you from here?" the old man asked.

"I'm Nangong Yi, the Young Lord of Nangong City in Yulong Kingdom," Nangong Yi said.

"Yulong Kingdom?" The old man was stunned.

"Is there such a country on Douluo Continent?"

  "..."

Nangong Yi's eyes twitched slightly. "Douluo... Continent?"

No way? Could it really be the Love Continent he remembered?

"Um, may I ask, is there an organization called Spirit Hall here?" Nangong Yi asked tentatively.

"Yes," the old man nodded.

He was certain of Yulong Kingdom; there wasn't a country on Douluo Continent.

And the child before him didn't give him the impression of being from an ordinary family, so the identity of Nangong Yi, the Young Lord of Nangong City, was likely genuine.

As for Yulong Kingdom, it was probably a country on the sea. After all, the ocean is vast, and the Sea God Island he visited decades ago wasn't the end.

But had the Spirit Hall's reputation spread that far?

"What's wrong?"

The old man looked puzzled, seeing Nangong Yi's stomach ache.

"I... I'm wondering when I can go home." Nangong Yi felt a sense of despair.

Douluo Continent, isn't this the backyard of the God King Tang?

How did he end up in such a horrible place?

Goddess Nuwa! You can't do that, right?

"Don't you have a nautical chart?" the old man asked.

He had never heard of the Yulong Kingdom, so it must be quite far from Douluo Continent, at least farther than Sea God Island.

"I don't even know how I got here," Nangong Yi said, his face gloomy.

"What do you mean?" the old man asked, puzzled.

"If I said I fell into this horrible place the moment I closed my eyes and opened them, would you believe it?" Nangong Yi asked.

  "..."

"Just barely." After a moment's hesitation, the old man nodded.

It was impossible for a child that age to sail alone, and a place he had never heard of was probably a long way from Douluo Continent.

Plus, this kid claimed to be the Young Lord of Nangong City... Could he have been ambushed and thrown out using a spatial soul skill?

The Spirit Hall's annals do indeed mention the existence of this type of spirit skill. Thousands of years ago, a Spirit Hall priest possessed this "exilatory" spatial spirit skill. Once unleashed upon a target, even the priest himself would have no idea where they would be sent.

However, this type of spatial spirit skill is incredibly rare, and none of its kind have appeared in the last few hundred years.

"Excuse me, who is the current Pope?" Nangong Yi asked.

If the Pope is still Qian Daoliu, then it's still early, and the potential for maneuverability is vast. With his abilities, achieving godhood should be a piece of cake in a few decades.

If the Pope is Qian Xunji, there's a slight risk; time is running out, but self-preservation shouldn't be a problem.

If the Pope is Bibi Dong, the situation is dire.

Tang San has already been born, and based on his memories of his younger uncle on Douluo Continent, it's highly likely that he was brought here by the Shura God. After all, the Shura God's assistance to Tang San was a bit shameless, even allowing him to regenerate the entire dual godhood after his death. Furthermore, the Shura God said that the Sea God Poseidon had stolen his people.

Given this risk, he couldn't possibly kill Tang San in the Novice Village like he did with the Primordial Heavenly Demon.

Forget Asura God, even Tang Hao, the hammer-wielding guy, could crush him.

Furthermore, once Tang San achieved godhood, Douluo Continent would become his own. To become a god, or even to live as a human on Douluo Continent, one would need some Tang family bloodline.

The thought was frustrating.

Nangong Yi had even crushed Primordial Heavenly Demon, so how could he possibly let a mere scoundrel ride on his head and shit on him?

"Bibi Dong," the old man's eyes shifted slightly as he spoke.

"How many years has she been on the throne?" Nangong Yi asked.

If Tang San had already grown up, or if it was time for the Spirit Empire to expand, he'd probably just have to slowly grow and figure things out. If it was still early, and this was Vast Sea City, he could first find a way to awaken his spirit, then head to the Sea God Island across the way to see if he could claim the Sea God throne.

As for whether his talent was lacking?

What a joke!

A small-time scoundrel could become a genius here with his mediocre skills from the Tang Sect, and he was the man who single-handedly defeated the Yuanshi Tianmo!

"Four or five years." The old man picked up the teacup, looking unhappy.

Hearing this answer, Nangong Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

It's safe!
