The speaker was a brisk-looking girl in combat gear, her hair in a ponytail.
"Lady Artemis looks like something's on her mind. Are you worried about something?"
This time a petite girl spoke up.
"Could it be... something about love?!"
As soon as the words left her mouth, the runt got smacked on the back of the head by someone else.
"Show some respect when talking to Lady Artemis! How could our Goddess be interested in someone of the opposite sex?"
"Oh!"
"You still dare 'oh'?!"
"Stop hitting, I give up!"
Playful scuffles unfolded before Artemis's eyes.
Watching her contracted Familia, Artemis couldn't dispel the worry clouding her face.
Though it hadn't happened yet, she already felt she had failed them.
After all, the total wipeout of the Familia would be largely because of her.
Andaris had targeted her, yet her Familia died trying to save Artemis.
