Chapter 4 - 4 - Seduce five WHAT!?

Saoirse kept pacing back and fort like an anxious cat inside her room, biting her nails it almost bled. Right now, she was waiting for the system to announce her mission.

or them. If you consider the God in her mind.

What heighten her anxiety was the anxious murmurs of the God inside her head. He's like reciting a ritual and it's been bugging her. If she can just grab the sigil in her neck and throw it out she would've done that already. But alas, like how it usually was. She has no choice but to endure his voice.

[No.No…No…No…]

"Can you shut up for once? I didn't ask to be chosen?" she snapped, stomping her feet on the floor. Forcing the anxious God to shut up.

[Congrats Tester! It's time to select your mission!]

Finally, it was time to select her mission. She took a deep breath before pressing the screen.

The God of Fertility and Saoirse exchanged knowing looks—though they couldn't see each other, Saoirse had learned how to communicate with someone who didn't exist in front of her. She wasn't sure if it was her sanity slowly slipping away or not, but she treated the interface as if it were the God she'd been assigned to. It doesn't matter what, long as it's physically there.

Unlike her usual experience with the God of War, where she picked her mission in the same white room, Saoirse was able to do it from the comfort of her bed this time. First, she settled herself in her mattress, before pulling out the interface. Her stomach turned in a knot.

She hasn't been that anxious since her first mission. It's like she's back to step 1. The mission will finally never be war related but what made her anxious was exactly that. The new God's specialty wasn't exactly something she wanted to look forward to.

In the interface, the words [Press to Pull card] flashed.

"Hey cheeky God! Just to warn you… If this mission includes baby making I'm gonna ascend to heaven just so I could punch you, okay?." she warned. Just the thought alone made her shiver.

Her hands were sweating so badly she had to wipe them down her skirt before taking a deep breath.

She hovered her fingers over the image of a card on the screen. It has a simple galaxy design encircled with gold accents, the symbol of fertility drawn in the middle, also in gold.

As soon as she pressed it, the card spun away in a whirl, followed by a few shooting stars flashing across the screen, finally revealing her mission. Her breath hitched as she stared at the details of her last mission.

[The Divine Womb: In the kingdom of Estarius, five geniuses are born. Your mission is to bear children from five exceptional men, each a genetic marvel whose line is destined to die with them—because no sane woman would ever get close enough.

Difficulty: SSS+]

[Yes!] the God of Fertility rejoiced.

"Don't 'Yes' me!" Saoirse scolded, trying to process the absurdity of the situation—and an SSS+ difficulty to boot. She hadn't even encountered that level of challenge with the God of War. And to top it all, not only did she get a mission she hated the most. It's five!

"I'm gonna kill you someday." she snarled pulling her hair with her hand and glaring at the interface but was only met with silence.

Being beautiful meant perverts were always nearby—like the offer of hundreds of millions for her virginity, which she obviously declined. Growing up prettier than the majority of people, her life hadn't been easy either. Girls somehow always thinks she's gonna snatch their man. No matter how ugly it was. And they also didn't believe her if she said otherwise.

She was isolated, bullied and hated by most. While those who adore her comprised of perverted men who has nothing better to do.

That was also part of why she hated men more than anything. She gritted her teeth.

['Don't worry, Human! I know you can do it!'] he cheered. Saoirse pinched the bridge of her nose, the stress enough to kill her. Someone save her from this mess.

The interface chimed once again.

[Welcome, Tester! As a reward for pulling an SSS+ card, you can now view additional details about your mission.

Press 'Receive' to claim.]

Saoirse raised an eyebrow. No reward could improve her situation, she knew that much. But it wasn't like she had a choice in the matter—she never had, and she never would. And an additional help isn't a bad thing.

Reluctantly, she pressed the 'Receive' button.

In front of her, five cards appeared, neatly arranged. Each card only bore the silhouette of each person. She hovered her finger over the first card, and details appeared.

[Name: Emperor Thorne Ravencourt

Nickname: The Cursed Royal

Age: 25

Race: Human (Cursed)

Role: Emperor

Ability: ***]

For the first guy alone, Soairse could already see why it was an SSS+ difficulty card. A cursed Emperor, and she had no idea what kind of curse. They might as well curse her then. She shook her head, press the back button. Then she clicked on the next.

[Name: Cassian Vale

Nickname: Shadow

Age: Appears 24

Race: Human (Augmented)

Role: World-class assassin

Ability: ***]

This time Saoirse bit her lips. An Augmented human means he could overpower her with a flick of a hand, and augmented assassin? World class too? It would've been easier if she just sign her death certificate and not bother with the mission.

Then clicked the third, anxiety gnawing at her more and more.

[Name: Mael Ithrain

Nickname: The Emotion Vampire

Age: 300+ (looks 26)

Race: Elven-Human Hybrid

Role: Dark Mage

Ability: ***]

Shit. Next.

[Name: Kael Vlad

Nickname: Alpha-General

Age: 28

Race: Beastkin (Lupine lineage)

Role: Alpha Warlord

Ability: ***]

Saoirse's breath hitched. Did they seriously expect her to seduce and carry a wolf child? Is she biologically capable of that?

Silver took a deep breath before pressing another back button. Then finally she hovered her fingers at the last card.

[Name: Lucien Halbrook

Nickname: Dense Saint

Age: 28

Race: Human (Divine Vessel)

Role: Traveling Saint

Ability: ***]

Saoirse feeling completely defeated flopped in her bed. Her hand went limp, she just wanna sleep and hopefully never wake up but she's well aware that wasn't possible. She ran her palm in her face, then she looked dead at the interface.

"The God's really went hard planning this mission, huh?" she murmured to herself. She sighed.

'I just hope they had pizza.'

She's been in a lot of worlds and their lack of modern foods is killing her. What's with their lack of creativity? And pizza?

"Hey God! Can I skip this one?" she asked, just in case. She's aware there is no such button but there's no saying it. There might be some special button that could help–Is what she wanted to say, but the interface was already shining on her face.

[Good luck, Tester! After this message, you will be transported to the Mission Ground] the message announced . Then comes a warming and blinding lights that sucks and warps her into her mission every time.

[Initializing transport…]

[Transport succeeded.]

'Oh, come on!'
