Chapter 10 - The Army of Heaven’s End

**Chapter 10: The Army of Heaven's End

The palace stood in silence after the gods retreated. The skies above were cracked with golden light, and the people of the Aurelius Kingdom knelt in fear and awe. Their prince had fought the divine and survived.

Inside the grand hall, Leon Aurelius sat upon his throne of living gold. His eyes gleamed like burning stars as he studied the glowing system before him.

[Quest Progress: War of Realms]

Objective One Complete: Repel the Divine Host

Objective Two: Forge an army capable of storming the Divine Realm

Elira approached, her silver hair glowing softly in the golden light. "The people are worshiping you, Your Highness. They call you the Golden God."

Leon smirked. "Let them. Belief is the cheapest form of power."

Avaris stood nearby, wings folded, his golden and black aura flickering like fire. "Master, the power of the gods is endless. Even with your strength, invading heaven will require an army of impossible scale."

Leon rose from his throne, his armor glowing brighter with each step. "Then we will build one. Not of men, not of angels, but of something greater."

He raised his hand toward the sky.

"Begin synthesis," he ordered.

The air in the throne room twisted. Golden light and black smoke formed into thousands of glowing circles across the marble floor. From each one, a figure began to rise. They were armored in radiant gold and shadow, their eyes burning with both holiness and sin.

[New Unit Created: Divine-Demonic Hybrid Soldiers]

The soldiers knelt as one. "We serve the Golden Sovereign."

Elira watched in silence, awestruck. "You created life itself."

Leon turned to her, smiling faintly. "I created wealth in flesh."

Avaris spread his wings, his voice echoing through the hall. "With this army, even the gods will fall."

Leon nodded. "Then we march soon. But first, we test them."

He pointed toward the horizon where the mountains glowed faintly blue. "The northern church hides a divine gate, a bridge between this world and theirs. It will be our first conquest."

Elira bowed. "Shall I prepare the army, Your Majesty?"

"Yes," Leon said, his tone cold and calm. "Tell them the age of divine rule is over. Gold is the new law."

That night, the kingdom watched as an army of golden and black fire filled the skies. The sound of wings thundered across the heavens.

From the palace balcony, Leon raised his sword high. Its blade shone brighter than the moon.

"To the Divine Realm," he declared. "We take what heaven hoards."

The sky itself seemed to bend to his will as the first Golden Legion rose into the stars.

And in the realm above, the gods watched in silence, their thrones trembling as the greed of one man reached for eternity.
