Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 – Wrath of the Emperors

The roar didn't stop.

It echoed — from everywhere and nowhere, a sound that made even the elements tremble. The shattered sky rippled like glass, and the air twisted into violent spirals.

Alaric's eyes snapped upward, golden lightning flaring around him.

"That roar… it came from the egg."

Rayling's grin widened, fire reflecting in his bloodstained teeth.

"Then it's waking! The Terra Beast King — it's awakening! Hahaha!"

Ivan frowned, spreading his arm. A dome of frost enclosed him, deflecting a rain of molten rock from Rayling's heat.

"Fool. If that creature hatches now, none of us will survive."

Ether Gaia's aura deepened, his brown armor glowing with runic sigils that pulsed like a heartbeat. "Then we contain it — or bury it. But I won't let it fall into your hands."

Lightning carved through the frozen mist. Fire tore across the fractured sky. Earth and frost collided beneath them, creating a storm that swallowed even light.

---

The ground below split open, revealing glowing ley-lines — the raw essence of that mirror world. The dimension itself bled light, collapsing under their combined might.

Alaric moved first.

Golden lightning burst from his body, condensing into a spear that hummed like thunder itself.

"Divine Art — Lightning Dominion: Celestial Annihilation!"

He hurled it at Rayling — faster than thought.

Rayling spun his spear, azure flames spiraling around it.

"Flame Domain: Azure Heaven Collapse!"

When they met, the collision erased the horizon. The explosion stretched for hundreds of miles, vaporizing the air itself.

---

Ivan appeared above them, his expression emotionless. Frost mist gathered around his arm as he murmured, "Frozen Realm — Endless Winterfall."

The world below turned white.

Every ember, every spark, every drop of lightning froze mid-flight. Even Alaric's lightning dragons shattered into glittering dust.

Ether Gaia slammed his palms into the ground, and a wall of titanic stone rose like a mountain, shielding them from the freezing storm.

But even that mountain began to crack.

"Enough games!" Ether growled, stomping down.

The land flipped.

The dimensional plane itself inverted, and thousands of boulders surged upward like meteors, striking Ivan's barrier in an explosion of stone and frost.

---

When the dust cleared, all four stood bruised, bloodied — but unyielding.

Rayling's armor was half-melted, his eyes wild. "This world can't handle us anymore."

Alaric looked around. The entire mirror Elyrain Continent — gone. Only floating islands of burning rock and frozen oceans remained.

The laws of the dimension were breaking apart.

Ivan's voice cut through the chaos, cold and certain.

"Then let it break."

He stepped forward. His power surged again — divine, boundless. Ice crystals turned into mirrored sigils, floating like snowflakes of death.

Ether glared. "Don't you dare—"

But it was too late. Ivan raised his hand.

"Absolute Frost — Imperial End."

The world froze.

The last flames turned to glass. Lightning faded into silence. Even the flow of time slowed.

Only one figure moved through that frozen stillness — Ivan Frost, Emperor of the North.

He reached for the golden cube still faintly glowing in Alaric's grasp.

But the moment his hand touched it—

Crack!

Lightning exploded outward, and Alaric's eyes turned entirely golden. His voice boomed like thunder across eternity.

"You think me frozen, Frost Emperor? You underestimate the storm."

Lightning obliterated the ice. Alaric's sword returned to his grip, overflowing with divine radiance. He swung it down — and the frozen world shattered.

---

Rayling's laughter echoed through the destruction.

"Yes! That's it! That's how an Emperor should fight!"

He raised his flaming spear, its tip forming the shape of a burning phoenix. "Now, let's end this farce!"

The four domains surged again — lightning, flame, frost, and earth — clashing once more.

Each blow warped the plane further, the mirror world collapsing into glowing fragments.

Then—

as their powers reached their limit, space itself screamed.

A golden pressure descended from above.

The roar, the light, everything stopped.

Even the flames froze mid-air.

Even lightning stood still.

A voice — ancient, commanding, absolute — filled the void.

"Enough!."

The sound carried not power, but authority.

An authority that made even emperors feel small.

And for the first time,

even the four Emperors bowed their heads.

And then silence fell over the world.
