Ryker suddenly wakes up, gasping for air. He coughs up dryly, his chest heaving painfully. He could not move, his wrists, his arms, his legs down to his ankles were bound by specialized silver cuffs that strapped him permanently to the custom made steel chair.
There was an electric silver collar attached around his neck to stop him from shifting into his wolf form.
"Alpha, you are awake."
Ryker blinks confusedly, unable to keep his eyes open as the blinding light from the large room hurts his eyes badly. He tries to think, he tries to collect himself to know where he was and how he got here.
He could not think, he could not feel anything. He was feeling numb with his head under the water, submerging every thought he tried to gather. But no matter how much that tries to happen, he pushes himself to remember more.
"Mate… My mate… accident….Royce… Royce… explosion," Ryker mutters under his breath, blinking his eyes to adjust to the bright lights.
