In the middle of the night, Lian sat at her desk, her hand shaking slightly as she read a new message on her phone: "You are both being watched… Trust no one." She trembled slightly, but at the same time, her heart felt stronger for Rayan. The mysterious messages were getting denser, as if someone was trying to push her away, but her love seemed greater than the fear. On the other side of town, Rayan was reading the same messages with the same anxiety and anger. Each message increased his need to protect her, even if it meant facing all the old animosities.
